I was suppose to pick up the Uhaul at 8 am yesterday morning. The key was suppose to be in the lockbox for me since they did not open at 8 and I could check in online. I got there and there was no key to be found. I called the cell numbers on the door and no answer. I finally got a call back around 9. He asked when I wanted to pick it up, and I said, "Now!" Since it was an hour past when I was suppose to get it and I was on a time crunch. He then proceeded to ask me, "Could you wait another half hour so I could take a bath?" I was let's say a little shocked by the response. I said no and I will be right there. So I finally got the Uhaul around 9:30. Then found out the number of blankets that I ordered were not there. I ordered 60 blankets and received 36 blankets unfolded in a big pile in the back. I told him I did not want the utility dolly and he said leave it here but still charged me for it. Then I found out that my drop off location changed to a location, I have never heard of and was not even close to where it needed to be dropped off. So to get everything straightened I was on the phone with Uhaul dispatch for a total of about and hour and 15 minutes for the mess up with the Uhaul and then to change the drop off location.Nathan F.

We reseved 10 moving blankets online but when we picked up vehicle was told they don't have blankets there and hardly ever do have them and would have to call costomer service. After leaving noticed the that the gas level in the vehicle was not what told by the clerk at the location, called this placed and was told again nothing they could do and to call costomer service. Called costomer service that day had a combined total wait of 40 minutes to report problem. This was not a good experiance.Paul T.

Absolutely the most terrible experience I have ever been through. Reserved 2 days in advance to avoid any problems. Experienced not only problems with rental, but dropping off as well. The representative at four seasons in tomahawk, wi never entered in my return and uhaul was going to bill for additional days! Was just terrible experience!stephanie P.

the overall experience sucked. I had to drive 70 miles round trip to pick up the trailer versus 10 miles to my local uhaul after we had an email confirmation. This was a 1 one way rental and I could not return the trailer to the nearest uhaul I had to take it about an hour away round trip.Karen K.

It would be so much more helpful to know in advance that you have to check out on-line. Also, my original order promised 338 free miles, and I was given 283 free miles. It is only a $20 difference, but the process seemed broken between my on-line order and the on-line checkout. The truck was great and receiving the truck was also great, just not a very good checkout experience.Ron T.

The guy who runs the place was nice, but so scatter brained, I'm lucky I got my trailer. He said he didn't get notice of my week old reservation until the two days before the date I needed it & wasn't sure if he could get me one. He said never make reservations on line, call him direct, but I suspect he was negligent in checking for the reservation in a timely manner. We did get the trailer, but then he claimed not to have the blankets we reserved, but came up with some at the last minute. Then, 3 hrs. later, while we were using the trailer, he called to see when we needed the trailer! The job got done, but not without a lot of uncertainty about the whole process.Kristin T.

Give more time/help with check out. I was told to initial the block (for accepting the cleanliness of the vehicle) initialing meant I had to ensure the vehicle was clean upon return. Something VERY sticky was spilled all over the cab (including the windshield) and it would NOT wash off. The windshield washer fluid was not filled, but the washer function didn't work anyway - the wipers only worked on max speed. Someone smoked in the vehicle before we got it. Nice migraine for 4 days worth of driving - thanks!Robert F.

When a truck is ordered make sure the dealer knows when the truck will be there to send out. I ordered it off the net and had to leave to WI on Wed. The call confirming didn't record till Friday. Steve worked to get our unit to his location. Brake lights did not work on trailer, blown fuse found by my son. Other than that the trip went well.RICHARD D R.

I only dropped off a trailer but while waiting, the Tomahawk, Wi dealership was going through everything with a person picking up a trailer. After not having the best impression of the other dealership where I picked up the trailer, I as extremely impressed with the Tomahawk dealership trying to make sure that things were right and fully understood with the person picking up the trailer. He walked through the what-to-do emergency pamphlet and even instructed this individual to call him direct if he was not getting what he needed from U-Haul. Another thing about the Tomahawk dealership that impressed me was that he helped me to unhook my trailer and immediately went to the help the other person to hook up the trailer he had just rented. The attendant was excellently friendly and even took time joke with you. Not a problem one with the Tomahawk dealership and thanks!Steven M.
