The lockbox on the back of the truck was very difficult to get open, it took us about 20 minutes of constantly trying. The option (I cannot retrieve the key) gives a phone number that is no longer in service so was absolutely useless.

Clerk was beyond rude. The truck was filthy in the cab and the back. My furniture needs to be cleaned. When I returned with the dirty truck the clerk argued with me about the fuel. She was misreading the slip and over charged me for the fuel. I drove the truck a total of 4 km. She charged me $24.97. I'm reporting this

Time/location were both changed after my original booking. Worker at Four guys convenience had no idea who I was or what I was renting. Nothing but good experiences prior to this with Uhaul, but not pleased with the way this panned out.

First time renting with uhaul and didn't understand the process fully at first and when I asked for help from the guy at the counter he was very rude and not helpful. Then on our drive we used the windshield wiper since it was pouring rain and it made a horrible screeching noise because there was no proper windshield wiper blade. When I dropped off the van and put the key in the drop box the man at the front desk came to the door to make sure I had paid and while I was trying to find the email he blocked the door so I couldn't come in to search my emails and I was left freezing in the pouring rain. Overall it was not a fun experience but it got the job done.

Vehicle was very clean however was missing a wiper blade which was a problem with the rain and the one wire on the back right hand side of the back door was loose/off it's track. Also the parking lot was hard to maneuver. However, the gentleman who gave me my keys inside the store was lovely! Super helpful and gave lots of information, also all the U-Haul support staff I talked to/worked with regarding the loose wire and the missing wiper blade where excellent as well! Thank you to tech who came out to replace the wiper blade before I brought the truck back.

Truck not back for me from previous customer. Sent to a different location for a smaller truck. Had to use app I didn't want to have to use In an area where I had 1-2 bars of cellular signal strength. All in all had to use more Km's due to smaller truck. The whole delay started at pickup time of 10:00AM and by the time I actually was driving away, it was 11:45. 1:45 of time wasted because of the truck not at reserved location.

The cost per kilometre is alittle harsh for local driving. I stayed within the Durham Region and between km and gas it cost me 100 bucks.

Uhaul is too expensive. Had the truck for 22hrs drive a lot 230kms. Cost me almost$400 rental not including gas. Tire tread was low. Not safe for winter conditions. Truck pulls to the right.

Fix your mobile app so it works to submit your requested pictures. My entire move was delayed because I was trying for 45 minutes to get it working. Terrible and frustrating experience, absolutely not recommended.

The pick up process was longer then expected. Took over 20 minutes on the app waiting to get verified. Came out of our time of use. Not expected at all. Also the store was not much help in this matter maybe the store and not the app would have been a better choice. Drop off was much easier and strange forward.

I usually always rent from Taunton Rd location in Oshawa but was having a problem booking on line, so phoned to book and this was were they sent me. Very poor service an hour and twenty minutes to book a truck, never again at this location

The store owner refused to help me with check in or anything and barely spoke English. The customer service rep i called asking to extend the truck the next day at U haul told me very rudely in a harsh tone that i have to return the truck right now. Repeated it several times. She said its already 15 minutes late and im being charged for that. Clearly I needed to extend the truck because I wasn't finished yet it was full of my belongings. Stuff happens and you can't plan everything. Last thing anyone wants is a rude batch on the phone after a stressful move and things just kept going wrong

The vehicle was not cleaned at all. The amount of dirt grime inside the vehicle on the windows is an indication that the vehicle is not maintained properly. Also questions were precautionary it's been taken to help prevent the spread of Covid

The truck smelled like cigarettes. My reservation was to pick the truck up at 10am and the location didn't even open until 11, why would it even be an option to rent the truck and expect to be able to pick the truck up if it's not open. Ridiculous.

I had to clean snow from vehicle. Got vehicle 3 hrs late . Was told quarter tank of gas but their was less. Should be received full. Owner had a major attitude. After receiving vehicle 3 hrs late he informed me I better be back by 6pm that day.This guy is bad for business. Use Penske it's10 x's better service. The last time Iwill ever use U-Haul. They owe mw my money back for all the crap.

I had a rental which I could have reserved for a full $24hrs but I was asked to estimate how long I would be. I under estimated by a couple of hours and was double charged for the rental for being late. No other customers were impeded by the late return and this business practice sucks. I wanted the extra charge credited or something done but nobody got back to me from customer service.

The truck was filthy when I got it. I had to sweep out old pieces of dog food and nails before using it. We also noticed when refilling the gas that the safety inspection sticker was about a month expired. I've rented a truck before and it was great but that one needs some attention.

Clean the vehicles. Plow the parking lot so the truck doesn't get stuck. Booked the truck to pick up at 9am but on the day of pickup I had to wait an hour for the location to open but I was never notified that 9am was not available for pickup here.

Yes I have a huge problem with my bill. I was not supposed to be charged the service fee and the fill up fee. I brought the truck back with maybe a km off in the tank. They gave it to me just under 1/4 and I gave it back to them just under 1/4. Being so strict it wasn't a mm or two off is so passive aggressive and ridiculous. If you want people to be EXACT then give them a full tank and tell them to bring it back full. I was also told by the store employees the charge was only going to be 20$ I have witness of that. I had a very important appointment that was 2 hours away I was already late for and did not have time to waste around. I was willing to accept the 20$ fee but I will not accept a 70$ fee. The difference in the pictures she took is virtually null and to be so aggressive about such a minute amount is just bad service. I expect a refund and a call from someone to discuss this.  Not to mention the truck sounded and acted like it was about to fall apart.

I booked the U-Haul for 9am and they arranged pick up for me at a store that did not open until 11am. They keys were not in the lockbox and were inside the store. The first lady on the phone transferred me and I was on hold for a long period of time before getting disconnected. The second lady was pleasant and did her best, however that was not much help with the keys being in the closed store.

The cab smelled and was grubby, had to step over a puddle of vomit to get into the cab and the woman who managed the store had marginal english skills at best and was not able to explain things or answer question, which was not her fault but made the transaction more complicated than it needed to be..

I was given the keys without any walk around. I had booked the van for 24 hours I picked up around 1 PM and said I hoped to have it back by 8pm. I swept the van immediately before returning it. I returned the van before 9pm. The store was open and I gave the keys to the lady in the store Again no inspection of the van. Imagine my shock when I received the invoice. I was charged for 2 days rental plus after hours charge and cleaning fee plus tax. the store has not answered their phone all morning and no voice mail. This location should not be a uhaul agent

I tried to rent a dolly early in the a.m. The wife Came out and motioned to me to go around the front and they would open the store. No one came to open the door. I ended up waiting for 1 1/2 and the door said that it opened at 9:30 when in fact they officially open at 10:30, after telling me they would open to get the dolly!

Truck was wet and dirty inside. Was very noisy i.e. no muffler. Staff in store were very pleasant but this is the second time I have got a truck from this location that was not in an acceptable condition. It is obvious the trucks are not being properly maintained.

Very poor service at this location, it took half hour to get the truck because the woman didnt know how to set everything up and had to call her boss. Could not speak english so i was very confused with the contract. And when i went to return it, the man just didn't say anything to us at all... not impressed. Need more trucks available in peoples own cities, driving to oshawa for that service was not worth it.

Why does the website allow equipment to be selected/rented from locations where the equipment isn't? Every time I book with uhaul it is the same thing. I pick a location, finalize my booking and then am directed to a totally different location for pickup. It makes online booking inefficient for me and almost resulted in me not being able to pick the equipment up. The location I selected was open until 11:00pm and the location I was directed to was only open until 9:00pm. In the past, I have been directed to locations that where they were already closed. Don't allow customers to select locations if that selection will not be honoured.

The truck should not be on the road for rental. There was a crack in the floor which blew extremely hot air into drivers foot making it unsafe to drive and painful! When I told the rental guy about this upon returning the truck he told me that he had reported several problems with the truck and it should not he on the road! It was extremely load and brakes were hard to use. It was an absolute terrible experience and the guy didn't seem to care or offer any discount for my stress and pain (burn mark on my foot). I would not rent from this place again which is unfortunate because I always use uhaul and have another move on July 23rd!

We were left hanging when the reservation I'd made for a cube van at a different location was unavailable due to the store being closed early for the holiday. I had reserved for four thirty and they closed at four... thankfully the Four Guys Convenience location had a rental that was available for our quick delivery of furniture. James was very friendly and helpful.

NEVER!!! When returning the truck, I asked if they were going to come out to check it. The woman replied that that was not necessary as I already had my receipt - she was really not interested, took the keys and then returned to the back room so I left. Upon receiving my Visa statement, I saw that I was charged an additional $83.06 as well as the estimated $66.97. After speaking to a customer representative of U Haul, I was told that the mileage was significantly higher (I''m not sure about that one) but I was also charged $50 for gas - I had filled it back up to 1/4 tank just before returning it. I will NEVER pick up a rental truck from anywhere other than a U Haul Centre and I definitely will not recommend a pick up or rental from $ Guys Convenience.

The guy at the pickup location was not only rude but didn't explain how uhaul works and didn't give us the walk around before we left. He didn't explain how many km we had free, and he didn't ask anything about out reservation. All he asked was for a drivers license, and where we were dropping off (even though my reservation said the location). I really wasn't comfortable taking the uhaul from him.

The attendants at that location have zero customer service. I have been renting from U-haul for the past 30 years; never before I have had such poor service. It's not U-Haul company, it's the staff at this particular location.
