Staff did a lovely job. The mobile access was painful and did not allow me access to the vehicle (yes I permitted location tracking on my browser). Ended up having to do a face-to-face and it all went smoothly

I think the manager did an above average job in helping me add another day while allowing to me get in a few more hours at no charge. My trip was extended due to rain, she made my experience great!

Be upfront about expectations, not making them feel criminal if renting for an extended amount of time. Submit invoice and work on disputes before closing the rental. Do as you say. When your employees tell a customer something, stand behind it and not acting like you suddenly have amnesia.

Tow/Haul came on and wouldn't go out after pushing the disengage button

You need to tell people that when they do an after hour drop it's considered the next day and it will be charged accordingly. I was extremely irritated to find that I was charged for a second day when I did an after hours drop. I was not told that this would happen or I would have gotten it back sooner in order to not be charged.

I left the truck at the site overnight because I didn't want to leave my personal vehicle there overnight (bad neighborhood). I had the manager call me up and berate me about ruining her display because I parked nose in. Keep in mind when I parked it there was 0 vehicles on the lot. She continued to berate me and demanded to know when I would be down to fix it. I hadn't even turned in the truck yet, I had planned on using it that morning. It was only there so my personal vehicle did not have to be (I have no help, I am one person and can't drive 2 vehicles at once). Made an good easy experience into a nightmare where I will likely look for a different location next time I rent even though this one is only about 1/4 mile from my house.

I brought back the truck with more gas than I got it with. It was hard to estimate the refill. I got it at 1/2 full and returned it 5/8 full.

Lack of info from person that checked me out. Billing experience was a nightmare for a trip that was 9 miles. Still waiting for a refund for extra charges.

Don't use self serve phone option- service is absolute garbage. Got help by front desk clerk.

Attendent was very busy. Was working by himself.

The van was overall clean, however, it smelled really, really strong of cigarette smoke. There were a lot of ashes on the steering column, directly under the dash. The only thing missing from making it look like an ashtray were the cigarette butts. Other than that, renting from this location was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. When calling to report the cigarette smoke (we didn't want to be blamed for it), the person I spoke to was genuinely apologetic and made a note of it in our file. We will definitely be back.

Clean the cab of the truck. Sanitize the steering wheel. I wiped the cab down before i pulled away and the yellow cloths were really filthy. Excellent customer service, though.

Great costumer service. I would definitely come back if I need to rent a truck or a trailer.

I had a trailer reserved at the N.E. Sandy blvd. location, it was not available for pickup , originally requested 10 am pickup - was moved to 1:30 pm ,trailer was still not available at 2pm,so I had to drive to the 122nd location ,which worked out well ,but put well behind loading my trailer on a 96 degree afternoon - thanks anyway I know it all comes down to folks returning equipment on time,your folks did their best and I appreciate that.

Truck was crappy.buzzer went off to many times.brake lights didn't work.nor little use of 4 hrs it was way over priced a in town .16mile rate at almost 100.00 plus fuel . i will never rent a truck from uhaul again.

No changes needed, in my opinion. Clem was super friendly and incredibly helpful. Best part: They have an actual phone number and answer promptly!

Make sure the equipment is available when customers say they're doing mobile checkin. I expected my truck to be available outside the gates since I had indicated on the reservation that I was doing mobile checkin. Instead I had to wait while you found the truck and then I had to wait while you typed things into your computer. Essentially you stole 20 minutes from my rental because you couldn't do your job.

The website pre-confirmation of vehicle towing capacity and usage is TERRIBLE!! It does not make sense, does not match the industry standards or match the information available to the average person on their hitch. You need to change the questions to be: Is your vehicle equipped with a flat 4 pole wiring connector? What CLASS hitch do you have? 1,I 2,II 3,III 4,IV What is the max trailer weight for your hitch? Mine says 5000 lbs. What is the maximum tongue weight for your hitch? Mine says 500 lbs. You should be able to streamline the prequalification if you can make this easier to use. Super nice people. Quick service. Very knowledgeable.

Great customer service! I had reserved an auto transport but uhaul had to cancel when another customer did not return on time. Tried reserving another auto transport but supply is severely impacted (COVID shutdowns) Uhaul tried their best to look for anything but eventually we went with just the tow dolly (not great as I was transporting a 4wd). Showed up at the pickup location to get the dolly, saw there were two flatbeds on the lot, asked about them, the person at the desk didn't know about one of them so they went out of their way to look it up, found out it wasn't actually in the inventory, they said it was all mine! Saved me from the extra work involved with towing a 4wd on a tow dolly and made me feel much safer about towing the car. THEN 15 minutes of driving the trailer loaded up, a tire blew out. Called the hotline for service which was another great experience. They had it all taken care of and in less time than expected. Tire service tech showed up early and had the tire taken care of in no time at all.

I came in 5mins before closing, yet Louis, was eager to help, knowledgeable and nice. Thanks Louis!

This facility did great. The truck could have used a wash but i ran like a top and the interior was clean. The folks who assisted me were fast and professional. That being said. We had gone to the sandy blvd store in Portland becsuse we needed a truck We didn't have Reservation the lot was full of trucks but we weren't allowed to Rent 1 these 25 trucks We're all taken. We left to go find another outlet and new made reservation for lone behold the same lot that had the truck we wanted the 26 folder when we actually go there again is to have the same man attraction a lot some big ones but they're all taken be could run a 15' truck even though though the website said we could get a 26' truck which we had reserved. We went to other lots in search of trucks the website said they had at various locations yet no trucks. I dont know if you keep trucks just for internet or what but it seems ridiculous to go to a branch to be told no we have no trucks leave and be directed back there to be told they do have trucks not the size we want. Not good business. One gal did call my phone to confirm a reservation but I didnt see the text until we were almost done moving. All in all we spent 2hrs trying to secure a truck. But thankfully the place that rented to us was efficient and hassle free. Thanks

While my rental truck gas tank was filled this time. I have rented them before where they were not. It's not ideal to have to try to put a tank back to any spot other than full.

After I confirmed my rental for Saturday I received a call before I was scheduled to pick up my rental saying they didn't have the size I requested and they could only offer me a smaller size or drive across town to pick up the larger unit. Also, I wasn't given a quote until I went to pick my unit up. Without going into more detail I was not happy with the cost. I used the truck for less than 5 hours and went 15 miles. The cost for that little trip was way too high. I recommend using Penske instead. Good luck.

When I walked in the woman at the counter didn't look up at me just asked my name. Then told me that she couldn't connect my car to the dolly because she didn't know how and since no one else was there suggested that I should look up how to do it online or go to another U-Haul location, which I did and they were able to do it for me.

this place is well organized and the staff are friendly. You'd be smart to rent from them.

The only problem other than an idiot backing into my truck in the Uhaul parking lot, was the online Uhaul final payment system not working. The manager tried multiple times and phoned for help before I finally needed to leave. Eventually, a final receipt arrived by email.

The staff were VERY friendly, easy to deal with, and went out of their way to assist - GREAT PEOPLE THERE!! The location was otherwise easy to enter and leave from and the building was clean.
