This was one of my worst experiences with uhaul. The rep from the location called me soon after I booked to ask if I could come in early and I informed him that I could not. He then stated that he would change my reservation to self checkout and I could come in anytime I wanted, which I found out later was not true. I went to go pick up the truck at 2:30 and was not able to complete the checkout through the app. I called the number provided on the door for assistance, but there was no answer or call back. I sent a text and still no response. I called customer service and was placed on hold. I had been on hold for almost 30 minutes, 26 minutes and 42 seconds to be exact. I decided add a call and placed another call to the customer service line and chose a different option. A representative named Reina picked up the line. I explained to her that I was trying to pick up the truck and that I was not able to complete the check out through the app. I explained that I had all my stuff sitting on the loading dock at the Pasadena Convention Center and needed to hurry because the location was closing. I told her that I had been on hold with customer service for 39 minutes and that I had no time left. This was when she basically called me a liar. She said that I could not have been on hold for 30 minutes because she did not see any parked calls. I then told her that I was still on hold and could send her a screen shot of the other line that showed that I had been on hold for that long. She then told me that I had called the wrong department. I explained that I chose this option because I was on hold for the other option. She stated that she could not help me and connected to the same department that I was on hold for. At this point I was extremely angry. I had now been on hold for more than 30 minutes on one line and 12 minutes on the other. I had no choice but to hang up and call another lyft driver to pick me up because my battery was at 7% and I needed to go back the Convention Center before they closed the gate. Once I got back there and charged my phone, I called customer service again and spoke with a different rep, can't remember his name, but at first he tried blame me for the situation by asking why did I not call customer service before I left the property. At this point I was enraged. I told him that I did asked if had not listened to anything that I had said. I told him that I had made another call to customer service before I called him and was advised that it would be 59 minutes before a rep was available to speck with me and I set up a call back. I think that at this point he could feel my frustration and placed me on hold while he tried to find someone to transfer me to. He cane back and transferred me to Ryan who finally explained what the issue was. He stated that my res was set up for a 12pm and I went at 2:30. He said that becausecwas late tge system locked ne out. I explained that when rep from the property called to ask if I pick up early and he change the pick up to self checkout, he told me that I could pick anytime I wanted because it was self check out. Had I known, I would have went ar 12pm. He stated that he could fix it and that I could go back and pick up the truck. St thus point it was 5pm. He made the adjustment and I was finally able to pickup the truck. Throughout this process I had taken 3 lyft rides totalling $99.44. This is an expense that I should not have had to incurred. Ryan stated to he would be able to give me a $50 reservation credit for the inconvenience. With tge cost of rental being almost $55 I would have spent $154.44. Minus the credit, I will have spent about $100.44 for this rental. This is extra money that I should not have had to spend. If you subtract the first lyft ride that Ishould only taken, I am am $70 .55 I convinced for this experience. Now on to the truck. The inside was clean, but smelled like it had been heavily smoked in and the seats where ripped. Other than that, the truck was fine. In a nutshell, I did not enjoy this experience, I do not feel that my business is valued to your company, and if in the future I can avoid this type of experience and service from your representatives, I will. I have still not received a call from the on-site rep to see if everything was OK. I called him multiple times and sent text messages. The lone representative whom I feel really tried to assist me was Ryan. Please advise Reina that no customer likes being called a liar. If you would like me to submit proof of my version of the events, I will be more than happy to do so.Jacob R.

The hours at this location was very limited 9am-1pm. I came around 3pm to drop off my rental truck & They were closed. I tried completing the drop-off using the after hours Drop-off instructions, which were a bit difficult to follow. I kept getting stuck at the verification code screen. Luckily, someone else who wanted to rent a truck knocked on the door and was able to get an associate to come out. He told me they were closed, but was nice enough to complete the checkout/drop-off transaction for me.Sandriel T.

First of all, we were not given the correct key for the initial pick up before store hours opened. That delayed us because we had to call customer service to override the pick up info so we could take a different truck than assigned to us. We told her needed to extend the time since we were delayed. Now I'm being charged for TWO RENTAL trucks ($29.95 x2) when I only used one. I have called and emailed about it, but have now disputed it with my bank. Needless to say, I will NOT be using UHAUL or recommending it to anyone for this terrible service.Jenna H.
The location was well below par for UHaul; however, the young woman working that day, Maricella, did an excellent job considering the circumstances. She had no laptop or tablet and had to do all transactions on a cell phone. The physical appearance of the location was also not what I expect and associate with UHaul.Terry W.

We scheduled our pickup for 8:00 am. When we arrived there was no one there. They finally showed up at 8:30, just as we were ready to leave. I found it very unprofessional, as we had a limited time to move our daughter and our â€œcrewâ€ was left waiting as well.CARLA M.
I had to cancel my initial rental because no one was there to get me the keys to the van and no way for me to access the van using the app. So, I then frustratingly had to order this rental at a different location through the app, travel to that location, and complete my rental. I made a reservation for Wednesday and the truck wasn't there. They changed me to Friday, the last chance I had to move. Then none of the equipment I reserved except the truck was there, even though I called ahead to make sure it would be. So perhaps just fulfill the most basic requirements of the reservation rather than being extravagantly incompetent. That would be a better experience.DREW H.

This drop from location was nothing short of a joke. Pure BS! Horrible! Said open. No one there to help. Over crowded lot. Nowhere to drop. All the online crap to drop off. Had to scan this, pics of that to submit. If after hours, that crap is one thing. To have to do that mid day is inexcusable. Worst customer service EVER!robert M.

Truck is old and passenger door did not close well. I ordered blankets but they had none for me, which was a huge problem since I was moving wood furniture (lots of it). the manager was nice but the equiptment and lack of blankets was not acceptable. Truck cargo area was not clean. Truck was damaged and was told there was no alternate and to call roadside assistance, which I did and had no luck either time reaching an actual person. Had issues with my bill as well and the charges were not reversible so was asked to stop by instead.Jennifer H.
