While my ubox arrived on time, uhaul called me 2 days before my scheduled delivery date and stated they had no one to delivery it to my location. This is a service that I had already paid for and arranged everything around so to learn this just 2 days prior to my scheduled delivery date was extremely disappointing.RICHARD B.

I've never had to rent a truck before and went the online 24/7 route. That didn't work at all however, the manager at the business handled the rental and that could not have been easier.Michael D.
The lot has several deep potholes which could use repair. The rental van was amazingly clean and everything worked. The actual lock on the lockbox (#1) was sticky, or challenging, to open and if we hadn't been on the phone with the representative, we would not have known to move the lever. All in all, a great experience and will definitely recommend. The 24 hour rental experience was so helpful.SHARON L.

We never learned the guys name, his name is nowhere on the invoice. When we had mechanical issues and had to stay an extra day, he never answered the phone or replied to my texts. However, he wasted no time in charging us a cleaning fee before even looking at our van, and didn't send in pictures to prove it (I have a friend who works for U-Haul and he told me that part). Besides, our van was spotless. When we arrived at the facility, no one was there to accept our van, so we dropped the key in the key box. The description of hours on Google do not reflect the real hours at the Folsom facility. I hope that place closes down.Ricardo M.

My truck to pick up via the app at 6am was not prepared or ready, spent over an hour on hold with headquarters and finally got a different truck assigned to me 2 hours after my original pick up time- the new truck was not the size I ordered and did not have any of the moving blankets (2 dozen that I ordered and paid for). Per the customer service rep at the local branch, I would be getting a discount and credit to my account for the inconvenience and being charged for items I did not receive. I have been trying to get in contact with this U-Haul dealer for a week since the day of the fiasco, however every time I call â€œall lines are busy please call back later.â€ It has been over 1 week since this incident and I have not received any price adjustments or credits as promised. Very disappointed. I will continue calling until I get through.Gavin K.

Up charged my CC with unwanted insurance and added an extra day of rental. I had to call in and they immediately stated that they would fix bill. They didn't correct bill completely forcing me to call in yet again. VERY POOR customer service here.DAN K.
Arrived to pickup the truck. Instructions said to look for a lock at the cargo compartment door of the truck and to use a code provided. There was even a picture as part of the instructions of the rear latch mechanism. I walked to the back of the truck, but there was no lock. Opened the door, there was no key, nor any of the equipment as part of the reservation (hand truck, 24 blankets). Other trucks were there that DID have locks on the rear latch, so obviously someone dropped the ball. I had to drive 9 miles to a different U-Haul location to create a separate contract for the hand truck and blankets. What should have taken 10 minutes took an hour, not to mention the extra gas.Richard B.

The move of the orange drop box for the key drop off is in a better location now. The gate is tight it is better if wider. There should be a board for the guideline if dropping off after hours. There should be a step by step guideline if renting, or dropping off. Then there should be a QR code the customers can scan to lead to a link when renting.CAMILO I.

It was my first time renting using a cell phone app to rent. It took me about 30 mins to get the truck. That is a long time. The location does not have very clear signs. At first it was quite confusing.Camilo I.
I would only recommend this place to a friend because the guys I talked to did their best to help me with what they had. I blame uhaul for not supplying them with all the equipment that a customer like myself might need. Something as essential as a hand truck was not available. I had to spend 60 bucks to buy my own! Plus they could not guarantee that a 15 ft truck would be available as per my reservation. Again, I know there are a lot of people moving but uhaul needs to do a better job making sure each pick up or drop off location is well equipped. The guys were friendly and did the best they could.Brent R.
