Absolutely nothing. The gentleman who helped me was quick and courteous. He even loaded my bike into the truck for me. I had to extend my rental several times and the people at 1-800-GO-U-HAUL were very helpful. I would definitely rent from UHaul at this location again.Margaret C.

I was told this was my option for dropoff despite there being other locations in Folsom. When I went to drop it off, the location was closed on Mondays. Luckily, I was able to talk to the guy on the phone and he directed me to leave the key in the box and he'd check it in the next morning. He also said he'd send me an email receipt. This was unsettling but I didn't seem to have any other choices. I had to call the next day at 3pm to ask for the receipt.JIMMY S.
They almost did not give me the trailer because u haul double booked 1 hour. I was told that they did not want to rent it to me if I could not have it back 1 hour early because they did not want to screw the other customer. I will plan to rent from enterprise the next time I need something. Uhaul treated me very rude and uhaul is the one that allowed double booking.Paul S.

The app was next to impossible to check into at the location. My password wouldn't work and there were issues with the locator syncing with the app. The business has a note on the door with a phone number to call. When I called it seemed like this is not an unusual occurrenceâ€¦so why isn't there a plan in place for when this happens? Such as a note with instructions explaining the process better? Further the pads I ordered were not in the truck and the gas tank only had 1/8 of a tank. There seemed To be no preparation for my order at all, not even a full gas tank not to mention lack of the pads ordered. I never thought about running a uhaul business but they certainly make it look easy.Tammy D.

I was overcharged for the mileage, I have a picture of the odemetrr immediately after picking up the vehicle. Also, the defroster was inoperable and made operating the vehicle dangerous in cold weather conditions. The vehicle was driven to El Dorado Hills once ( 1 round trip to the Reading location). This information was provided at check out and the location overcharged my credit card. Please advise or I plan to file a dispute with my bank.Tony V.

This was A horrible experience! My boxes arrived on a Thursday, and I tried to call on Friday and Saturday several times but no one answered. My U-Haul helpers also tried to call and nobody answered the phone and there was no answering machine. When my boxes were not loaded and ready to go on Monday at my reservation time, I called and once again nobody answered. I actually drove down to the storage facility where I had to literally â€œblock the driveway â€œin order to get somebody to come out and help me. It took four days to finally get my boxes, and I still had to spend an extra night in the hotel. Overall, U-Haul box experience was great coming out of Meridian Idaho, but Foothill storage in Folsom, is the worst facility I've ever had to deal with.CHRISTOPHER S.

Shortly after picking the truck up I received a call saying if I was willing to change my drop off location from Dixon, CA back to this Folsom, CA location I would receive $100 credit against my bill. I agreed and returned the truck the same day. Shortly thereafter I was charged the full amount with no credit and charged an additional mileage charge of approximately $5. Thus I ended up having to pay for extra gas, the mileage fee and had to inconvenience myself with additional travel (2+ hours round-trip) all for no benefit. Would not recommendAaron J.

I returned the vehicle on the same day, little over 30 mins after the closing time. But the location manager told me it was ok to return by night. It was on a Saturday. So I took the vehicle and returned the vehicle on the same day (Saturday). On Monday, I get an email that I am charged for 2 days of rental. I call the customer service and they asked me to go the centre and and check again. I had to go back to the centre to check why this issue happened, the manager there was very negligent and he was like yes I did that I will correct it, you got to chill. I asked him for ETA on when he will fix and he was rude, he said I will do when I can, I cannot do right now. You will get the money, stop behaving like this. In sometime I got a call from the manager of the customer service agent who had promised that she will get the manager on call with me and they proceeded to refund. I have been hearing these kinds of situations happen to my friends and now for me too. The quality of U haul is decreasing day by day. I am very disappointed, what If I had not checked my credit card statement? Very unprofessional. I am going to think twice from next time before trusting u-haul.Shashvath B.

The associate was attentive to my needs. Called me the day before the rental to inform me that for some reason U-Haul had booked my reservation at 9:00 am however he did not open until 10:00 am. Upon my arrival at 10:00 am he immediately assisted me with getting the necessary equipment, rental contract and on my way in a very expeditious manner.DREW S.

I had several problems operating the van, even though I have driven a motorhome. Turning the ignition key required much more strength than expected, for example, leaving the impression that the van could not be started. Also I thought I had rented a furniture dolly, but that item was missing.KAREN P.

While my ubox arrived on time, uhaul called me 2 days before my scheduled delivery date and stated they had no one to delivery it to my location. This is a service that I had already paid for and arranged everything around so to learn this just 2 days prior to my scheduled delivery date was extremely disappointing.RICHARD B.

I've never had to rent a truck before and went the online 24/7 route. That didn't work at all however, the manager at the business handled the rental and that could not have been easier.Michael D.
The lot has several deep potholes which could use repair. The rental van was amazingly clean and everything worked. The actual lock on the lockbox (#1) was sticky, or challenging, to open and if we hadn't been on the phone with the representative, we would not have known to move the lever. All in all, a great experience and will definitely recommend. The 24 hour rental experience was so helpful.SHARON L.

We never learned the guys name, his name is nowhere on the invoice. When we had mechanical issues and had to stay an extra day, he never answered the phone or replied to my texts. However, he wasted no time in charging us a cleaning fee before even looking at our van, and didn't send in pictures to prove it (I have a friend who works for U-Haul and he told me that part). Besides, our van was spotless. When we arrived at the facility, no one was there to accept our van, so we dropped the key in the key box. The description of hours on Google do not reflect the real hours at the Folsom facility. I hope that place closes down.Ricardo M.

My truck to pick up via the app at 6am was not prepared or ready, spent over an hour on hold with headquarters and finally got a different truck assigned to me 2 hours after my original pick up time- the new truck was not the size I ordered and did not have any of the moving blankets (2 dozen that I ordered and paid for). Per the customer service rep at the local branch, I would be getting a discount and credit to my account for the inconvenience and being charged for items I did not receive. I have been trying to get in contact with this U-Haul dealer for a week since the day of the fiasco, however every time I call â€œall lines are busy please call back later.â€ It has been over 1 week since this incident and I have not received any price adjustments or credits as promised. Very disappointed. I will continue calling until I get through.Gavin K.

Up charged my CC with unwanted insurance and added an extra day of rental. I had to call in and they immediately stated that they would fix bill. They didn't correct bill completely forcing me to call in yet again. VERY POOR customer service here.DAN K.
Arrived to pickup the truck. Instructions said to look for a lock at the cargo compartment door of the truck and to use a code provided. There was even a picture as part of the instructions of the rear latch mechanism. I walked to the back of the truck, but there was no lock. Opened the door, there was no key, nor any of the equipment as part of the reservation (hand truck, 24 blankets). Other trucks were there that DID have locks on the rear latch, so obviously someone dropped the ball. I had to drive 9 miles to a different U-Haul location to create a separate contract for the hand truck and blankets. What should have taken 10 minutes took an hour, not to mention the extra gas.Richard B.

The move of the orange drop box for the key drop off is in a better location now. The gate is tight it is better if wider. There should be a board for the guideline if dropping off after hours. There should be a step by step guideline if renting, or dropping off. Then there should be a QR code the customers can scan to lead to a link when renting.CAMILO I.
