The person helping me disconnect car dolly was nice and efficient. here is my complaint. I was told in Colorado to call a 303 number to find the place I needed to return. I called that number, it was the wrong number so I called the one on the contract. The person I talked to seems to not understand what I was asking-where to return since there was no return location on the contract. She transferred me after being on hold for 5 minutes to someone else in Wilks-Barre. They transferred me to someone named Jack. He finally got the drop off location changed and fixed for me. It was a pain getting to that point. My biggest complaint was the equipment issues with tail lights.Brian S.
The truck was filthy when I picked it up. I had to sweep out the box before I was able to load anything. The cab had mud on the floor on the drivers side and a pair of sunglasses was left in it. So I know it wasn't even looked at between uses. It ran well and no other issues.Debbie B.

I wanted a ten foot truck and the website allowed me to reserve one even though this location only has a 15 foot option. I wasn't happy to have to pay more and not know this immediately upon reserving. Other than that, I would rent again and recommend this service.Matthew B.

Footes Tire Service did nothing wrong, they were great to add axtra miles for us because of our inconvenient situation. My reservation's location (that I made two weeks prior to ensure I had a truck) got changed the day before I had to move out of my house from Uhaul Ithaca: 343 Elmira Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850 to Footes Tire Service. I had to drive an hour away to Footes Tire Service with a friends car that added a total of 2 hours to my (already) long 5 hour drive. Two other neighbors of mine in Ithaca got screwed by Uhaul this same day and couldn't get any trucks. July 31st is the most common move-out day for Ithaca and Uhaul should anticipate this with MANY more trucks.Libby R.

I needed a trailer for a 1 day trip from NC to NY. I asked for a 3 day rental just to make it easier on us, so I could pick up the day before and leave early in the morning the following day. I ended up with your minimum!!!! A 4 day rental!!!!! I did not like that at all. I didn't need it for 4 days, but had to pay for 4 days.micheal W.

My poor rating does not reflect on Footes at all. They were very professional. My complaint is with my entire booking experience. I was notified less that 24 hours in advance that I wasn't going to get the trailer that I reserved 2 weeks before. "It isn't available"!! My original agreement with U-Haul was not honored. Very frustrating as my time constraint was very limited to start with. I had to go 20 miles each way to find a trailer to suit my purpose 1 day earlier that I had anticipated throwing my transport and return delivery off by 16 hours. Totally unacceptable!! Then when I got home after unloading the trailer and returning it to the return site 3 miles from my home my daughter informed me that I received a call from the Ithaca U-haul stating that I was late returning the trailer to their site and a customer was waiting for it. My paper work shows that I was supposed to return the trailer to the site that I returned it to. Why would I choose to return a trailer to Ithaca which is 20 miles away when I can return it to Rodman's which is 3 miles away? Makes no sense. This experience took a college graduation day which should have been a joyous day into a very stressful experience. I will relay this experience to my co workers and friends. I will not use U-haul in the future. I have to reiterate that this experience does not reflect negatively on Foote's or Rodman's. They were wonderful people to deal with. The reservation we made online wasn't in their system (I received an email confirmation of the reservation that had all the correct information on it). Unknown if it's the fault of the Sayre location, but nonetheless we made a new order and everything was fine. Regarding the trailer, one of the tires had almost no tread on it. The hookup was seamless though, the gentleman knew exactly what he was doing and very professional.James J.

Online reservation said trailer was located 8 miles away, Taylor Rental. Taylor had no trailer and were not helpful to locate a trailer but, another U-Haul location helped me - final location, Footes, was nearly 40 miles away. That was really messy. Luckily I checked at Taylor a day before I needed the trailer and learned all this. Nonetheless, Footes handled the transaction well. The online reservation and confirmation is MEANINGLESS, you can wind up stuck if you don't go check on it yourself.Curtis P.
U-haul is NOT VERY ACCOMMODATING! I placed my order 3 weeks in advance. During that time, u-haul made no effort to get the trailer I requested to my pick up location. I found out the day before pick up that They upgraded me to a bigger trailer which I COULD NOT USE. So I had to drive 40 minutes to get the correct trailer. That SUCKED! I was pressed for time blah blah blah... Everything else's great.christopher C.

Your on line reservation system is hugely flawed in that when a customer reserves two pieces of equipment, they are expected to chase to two different locations to retrieve them. Fortunately, your counter personnel are adept enough to make the situation as good as possible through credits, etc.Gaye S.
