This location is in a parking lot that is not easily accessible. In the evenings there is a food truck which makes it tough to navigate a U-Haul through to return or pick up. Especially for folks who are not used to handling large vehicles. The employees were very nice at this location, however, it is not easy to get the truck in and out.

Crowded. Only one area to even consider leaving the trailer. Person working originally said there wasn’t room to leave the trailer. That was not an option. However, we made it work.

The location was hard to find. There is no real visible U-Haul sign. The truck leaked behind the passenger side into the truck. A couple of the boxes were soaked and had to get rid of wet items because they were paper products.

Gave me some of my money or all of it back I could not even use it the transmission is slipping so bad it wouldn’t even pool. I took it back to act like I will give you some money back and never did. I will be contacting a lawyer soon.

Though staff was kind and helpful, it is not marked well at all and difficult to maneuver into. It’s easy to pass and no where to turn around with trailers or trucks in this city.

It was a fine drop off location. Staff was nice. Had a muddy drop off area though. It wasn’t horrible but could be better with a concrete pad.

Just average, and honestly, the guy that rented it to me, never looked up from his computer the whole time he did the entire transaction. Honestly, probably couldn’t even tell you what the guy looked like or pick them out of the lineup if I had to. So it’s average I got what I needed.

I scheduled to return the trailer at 0830. I returned it at 0830. The man at the grocery store told me it was good to go and that the uhaul rep would be in shortly. The rep did not check-in the trailer until the afternoon. This is UNSAT!

Convenience store with U-Haul as a sideline. Trailer difficult to get to. One tail light inoperative. Attendant did not want to deal with the light problem. Seemed to be in a hurry to get us hooked up and out of there.

Workers were not helpful and forced me to take my unit across town claiming their lot was full. There was plenty of room and you could count on your fingers the amount of trucks/trailers at this location. Huge waste of time. The Manchester st location in Lexington was very helpful and unloaded me despite my documented drop off location.

Clerk at store would not help me hooking up trailer because he didnt have anyone else to man cash register. I waited 40+ minutes for his helper who never showed up. I tried but am 70 yrs old and tandem trailer is too heavy for me to lift..mildly strained back. I saw a street person in parking lot of store and paid him $5 to help me lift the tongue onto my hitch.

Salesperson was a little unsure of whether or not we could drop the trailer, as the the U-Haul POC had told him not to accept any more trailers. We had chosen this location when we reserved and our name popped up on the computer, so he let us leave it. Not sure what was all going on with that, but the salesperson at the drop off was very nice and accommodating.

I reserved on the app. For early pick up time 7:30am and some equipment we’d need (appliance dolly). Got to the location at our confirmed pick up time only for the app, when I began the pick up process to say: “return at 9am when this location opens”. ??? I called the 800 # for help and spoke to Amber. She said I was the second person that morning to have that issue. She confirmed that yes, that location didn’t open until 9am and she changed our reservation to 9 and adjusted the end time. I told her we could have done 9am but why did the app accept our reservation for that location if they don’t have the 24/7 pick up that was advertised / offered??? She didn’t know. Went home, called other people that were expecting us and let them know what was going on. Got back to location at 9, but were told there was no appliance dolly. (The whole reason we rented the truck was to move two large appliances). We got the regular dolly that I also reserved (thank god) and were finally in our way, nearly two hours after planned. The truck worked fine and we returned it early, they guy at the location was fine. But the whole reservation system was lame / not as promised, etc. Next time I’ll be sure to CALL THE LOCATION DIRECTLY and talk to someone there to make sure all is as expected / promised on the app. And not wake up on my day off and rush to get across town for a reservation that isn’t even right.

When I arrived in Omaha NE, the UHaul location informed me that the origin location did not hook my automobile correctly, and it could have killed many people. There were no straps over the tires. The car was only being held by the chains under the car. My entire family was behind me the entire trip in our SUV. I could have lost my entire family dealing with these incompetent individuals.

When I arrived, I was shown where the trailer was, but no one came to help me hook the trailer to my truck. I had to find a stone to stop the trailer from moving backward. After about 5 to 10 minutes someone finally showed up and helped me. I had never experienced this issue at a Uhaul in the past. I will never rent form this location again. Additionally, when I returned the trailer no one checked it in until the next day when I got a phone call from Uhaul. I told him I had returned the equipment and that the person at this location indicated that someone would check the trailer in and I would receive an email confirmation. This did not happen until after I spoke to Uhaul.

Pick up went great. No issues. My car hauler was the only item in the whole lot so it was easy to get it. I had help from the dealer in hooking it up which was perfect.

Below is the text of an email i sent on Wednesday, June 1st after i arrived in Madison. It was sent to service@uhaul.com. I did not even receive a response. Given this location was not a U-Haul facility, i am assuming they did not even check the truck before i drove off with it. I am still in possession of the attached referenced equipment but I want to express my deep disappointment and concern for my safety as well as my daughter yesterday while I was driving from Lexington to Madison WI. I left Lexington at approximately 1:30pm EST and the trip was going very smoothly until I got to northern Illinois. It began to get dark with light rain showers. It was at this point in time that I realized that not only did the truck not have windshield wiper fluid (or it was not working), the wipers were not that good all I was getting was smearing. Additionally, the left low beam was not working. This made the situation even more troubling. There were many times I had to use high beams in order to see properly. This forced me to use the right lane and travel slowly for the last 120-150 miles.

The uhaul was suppose to be 29.95 for a days rental . I picked uhaul up about 115 or 130pm I returned uhaul 530 or 6pm same day. I paid 100 deposit. I put gas back in truck I cleaned it out. I did rent a appliance hand cart for 10 dollars that's all. The truck was alot cleaner when returned. Can't understand why I only got 23.46 cents back. I will never rent a uhaul again. I will rent budget or anythibg. I only moved stuff to storage. I drove maybe 15 miles at the most. He told me I had 25 miles. Please send me a email letting me know how it ended up costing me that much please. If I do not get a response by tomorrow at one pm I'm going to let people on Facebook and Twitter know what happened 4 hour rental with uhaul will cost you about 80 dollars for 4 hours and driving 15 miles or less. I was wanting to pick up from a location where amenities were available (dollies, blankets, etc.). I confirmed with the u-haul representative when they had to change my location that these things would be available & she said yes. When I got to the location they said they never keep those things (it was a little mini-mart location) & so I had to drive to another location to find what I needed. This would be a fine place to drop off equipment but considering you almost always need to pick up extra things, I would not recommend it for pickup. Also, the time the u-haul representative told me I could pick up, & the time my email/text said, were not correct. The location didn’t open for another 30 minutes & the online check-in wouldn’t work.

Driver's seat of 10' truck was lopsided. The person who walked me out to the truck didn't even look over it with me. He simply handed me the keys, and I had to yell back and ask him which one I was to take. We returned the truck because of the seat, but we couldn't do this until the next day, so I paid for a day for it to sit in my driveway.

The service person installed the trailer to our vehicle incorrectly without regard to loss of life or property. During the trip, the trailer unhitched from the hauling vehicle while we traveling 55 m/h. We were lucky not to have gotten into a serious accident and only suffered damage to the trailer contents and hauling vehicle.

Get rid of the option to pick up a uhaul with a smartphone if it is not available. Had to wait three hours to pick it up and was asked to bring it back earlier than my scheduled time. Moving is stressful enough. Don’t ask me to rush to meet your business needs. That’s not customer service.

Again, we got approval from Uhaul corporate to drop off at this location and not once did this location tell us that we had to return it to Ashley's. If this was the case, then they should not have accepted the return of the truck. Now, Uhaul is committing fraudulent charges on our account. But this is usual of Uhaul as the last four times, there is some erroneous, after the fact, hidden charge that was not agreed upon.
