I do have a couple issues. I was charged for furniture blankets that I ordered and never received. And the gas was not completely full when I got it and I filled it up when returning. So either I gifted U-haul some gas or haven't been properly compensated.Robert S.

The vehicle sizing did not include the interior tire well space and so the rental ended up being useless and we had to use a personal dolly to wheel the item on foot many blocks since it didn't fit into the rented cargo van. We are beyond disappointed with this experience.Patrick E.
I used told the shop i would use the vehicle for about 40km i didnt even reach 30 and still got charged extra. If i took a picture after i returned the truck. I would argue if i did but im sure i did less than 30km i barely touched the gas it came with i only had to gas up 10$gil P.
Location confirmed to have UHaul Dolly which is not correct. Proceed to offer us their personal dolly which cost more than what Uhaul charge. The vehicle is low in maintenance and has foul odor. The vehicle was handed over to us with a low tire pressure on the right rear tire. We were running behind schedule and was trying to explain to the owner. We receive nothing but yelling on the other end. In the end, we decided to call UHaul customer service instead and was very easy to deal with. I will rent with UHaul again, however, definitely not from this location.Han L.

experience was good online, but not seamless at store. I could not do online pickup of vehicle, required me to go into store and reenter info with clerk. Also was told problem with my booking because i had scheduled return after store closed, so needed to return next day. However noticed a u-haul key return box outside store. Gas tank was empty when picking up truck. I had to put $99.99 of gas into the tank and was not given any back pay for it. So i was charged 92 for the truck rental and milage then i had to give up 100 in gas for free to the company. Plus my check in was forced to be 2.5hs shorter than it should have been. I was supposed to have a 10:30pm drop off and forced to do an 8pm drop off dispite my reservation or else id be double charged for the check out time.Harley S.

I found a retainer for your teeth in the back of the truck, an open water bottle in the front, as well as used napkins in the doors. The sliding door at the back would stick and took extra effort to open, the tires were left flat on the right side of the vehicle, and the chair was broken (didn't move forward). The man in charge too charged me for a protection plan when I clearly stated on my profile I did not want that, and when I explained that, he did not offer to refund me. He also did not give me any paperwork for the truck and didn't inspect the truck before or after. Worst uhaul experience I've ever had, from the guy in charge to the truck itself being dirty and broken. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!Emma M.

The clerk in the shop was lovely. However the van had both a back brake light and back signal light out and I wouldn't have known unless my friend was driving behind me. The inside of the van had some old cloth on the floor and didn't seem well swept out.Lindi R.

First of all there was no washer fluid, secondly, even after filling it up. The wipers dint work properly, there wasn't any washer fluid coming out. There was a winter storm and i had a really hard time driving it.Gaganpreet S.

I was charged 43$ for gas when I already put $20 for gas! It legit needed $10 more for gas! Super disappointed first and last experience I paid 186 for a 3 hour use for a uhaul.Sabatine D.

Garbage website let me book reservations at 2 locations that were closed before I just found this place on google and just drove there. Software that is able to acknowledge that a customer is returning a truck with more than an 1/8th of a tank over the contractual obligation without some form of credit is either negligent or criminalPatrick T.

Proprietor of the store (licensed location) was a very rude approximately 45-50 year old man. When I walked in to return the equipment, he ordered me to â€œGo take a picture of the mileage and gas guage.â€ He did not wear a mask and when I advised him that as an owner of a store he could be ticketed, he indicated that he was not concerned with COVID restrictions. There were used razor blades in the door of the equipment and loose cardboard boxes in the back of the equipment. I advised the owner of this, but he did not seem concerned. I will never return to this location and I will be warning everyone I know.MIRANDA B.

I chose 24/7 pickup when I booked as I needed the car at 7:30 am. I arrive, open the app to start the pickup process and now it's telling me I have to wait until the location opens at 9 am?? I call U-Haul, no phone operates available for over an hour. At 8:30 Food Galore opens, so I go in to get the key. Check in process takes almost half an hour. I booked the van until 10:30, but they tell me it has to be back by 8:30 pm? What kind of service is this? I had an important event yesterday and my day was disrupted. I'll be calling U-Haul this week to complain. I wanted to use you for future events I'm participating in but I can't trust your service now.TI-AN MARIE D.

I could not take a pic of my license and send directly to uhaul. I wish that i could have uploaded a pic from my phone. Thankfully gentleman at food galore helped me. The rental was expensive as i had to drive far to donate a load of items to a kind family in Cloyne Ontario. They've adopted special needs children and rescue animals (landolakes petting farm rescue). I was doing a good deed but it cost me a lot of money for the rental and fuel (over $320!). Too bad there wasn't a special arrangement for long distance moves. Gracias.stephen J.

I'm very dissatisfied! I rented the van for 7:15am last Saturday cause my move in on the building (should had to happen between 9am to 12pm) . I arrived on the store at this time but the store only opened after 8:10am, the guy didn't understood our rush! He made the things slower , we left the store after 8:30am, what mades everything complicated, since we got short time to do the move in, cause other 2 move-in was expected on the building after nine. I would like to have something fair for me , cause this experience wasn't good for me. Thanks and have a good dayMike A.
Key was located inside corner store rather than drop box location, store owner tried to tell me I needed a credit card to finish reservation and told me if I wanted the keys I would have to pay an additional 200$ of I wanted to use my debit... Store owner was very shady...nguyen T.

The check-in process was a bit of a mess - as someone who very rarely rents vehicles, the process of getting everything approved and completed was confusing at times. The website mentioned an app and phone-only check-in, but there was no app that I could see (I just used a web link), and I needed to go inside for the keys and rental furniture pads. That was really not what I was led to expect from your site.Alex S.

Had reserved elsewhere but was directed to this location and while we ended up with our truck, the experience wasn't great and suggest you avoid this location if you can. This is a convenience store that dabbles in real-estate, money transfers and UHauls - so you'll need to lower your expectations. The clerk wasn't wearing a mask when I came in - and didn't put it on. He couldn't find our reservation, despite having called them earlier to confirm. He insisted that they don't carry 15 foot trucks despite there clearly being one outside, and just wouldn't believe me until I went and took a picture of the 15 foot truck and showed him. Didn't have the furniture pads that we had reserved. Didn't give me a copy of my contract by insisted I use my phone to take a picture of his copy. None of these are deal breakers, but are far from an enjoyable or reassuring customer experience!Gregory R.

The move went well and the truck was in good working order however I was somewhat disappointed about the odour of cigarettes inside. This was likely from the last person who rented it before me as the smell was quite strong and my girlfriend and myself suffer from allergies which made driving in the vehicle quite uncomfortable. Further, the window was left open prior to me entering which meant that we had to wait about 25 minutes before we could use the truck as there was a lot of moisture and condensation in the cabin that made it difficult to see through front window. I would not have expected this from a company with as strong a reputation as yours.Michael C.

I did not expect to be at a convenience store to pick up uhaul truck. The person was not welcoming , it took the employee long time to finish the checkout , kept assisting customers that were coming in to shop, while he kept me wait instead of finishing with me. Not a good experience.Hiwet T.

The person running the location does not know how the UHaul system works, refused to call support to figure it out, tried to refuse to rent me the truck three times because he didn't want to figure out how to complete the forms. The only reason I went through with the rental was necessity. It took refusing to go away, and accepting charges that were not mandatory, despite refusing them, to get it done, because he didn't want to figure out how to opt out of the optional insurance. This all on top of him refusing to wear his mask in an enclosed business, during covid, makes this the single worst renting experience I have ever had. Please find a different subcontractor to run a UHaul outlet in the area, because this one is giving the company an extremely bad name.Alan G.

The vehicle was disgusting when we got it - food pieces on the floor, empty bottles and food wrappers in the cubbies. I threw and cleaned up the car but still got charged a cleaning fee- which I thought was very unfair.SHUHE L.
