Make your system more efficient we reserved the vehicle but still we were standing for two hours to get the vehicle and also your online staff was not helping just keeping us on hold and doing nothing we were very disappointed by the U-Haul service

While i did the reservation i didnt include any coverage. But they included coverage without my concern. While I checked the price at the end it came to be expensive and going through detailly i came to know the coverage. They could have atleast asked me once. I usually do uhaul 3-4 month and all the reservation was without coverage. And the one i reserved was also without coverage. Really disappointed.

Right now my right shoulder damage. The back roll up door cable is out and the roll up door was very hard to raise up. I believe my Ligament muscle tear. Before I took the truck I took a photo of the roll up door and the caple and showed the cashier. But I didn't know the roll up door would be that hard to raise up. I have alot of pain on my right shoulder and if it gets worse I will have to go to the doctor. Just to let you all know. Thanks Lowtan

For the 9' pickup truck, the U-Haul app displayed per KM rate as $0.69 while the store had charged us $0.79, misleading the information on the app. Also for after-hours drop off the store was charging a service fee of $20 for no reason. Finding the exact key for the truck was much more complicated. The guy at the store didn't help us with the key at all instead we had to try one key 3 times at the same truck which was not at all working. After walking almost 3 times to the truck the store guy checked his key drop box and then realized that the actual key for the truck was placed somewhere else.

The young lady that serviced me was pleasant. My appt to pick up the truck was at 1:00 but location was closed for 30 minutes so had to wait until 1:15 to check in and get keys.

No windshield wiper fluid. I didn't know the side mirrors could only be adjusted manually. Neither did the store attendant. The speed dial etc were American, not metric,. The metric kilometres on the speed dial were impossible to read. The distance gauge was in miles, not in kilometres. The "tool" re the fuel level was impossible to read/understand. Not a good form that vital information for the driver in Canada was not easily readable and non existent. The invoice reads kilometers but the distance measured was in miles and charged as miles. UHaul should operate in Canada using Canadian norms for measurement.

I was stuck with a flat tire and called Uhaul for help. I was told that a technic was on his way and would be in 45 minutes. After 90 minutes, I called back to ask about such a big delay, and another lady on the line said to me that the technic would not come because of the lack of some instruments and they forgot to call me back saying that. More importantly, they even had not started looking for another technic yet. They completely forgot about me!!! I asked for another technic, and they sent it to me again. I spent 3 hours in a truck waiting for a technic. It was in the middle of Toronto at 19:30

The truck had flat battery and I encountered many problems with that truck. I was not able to turn on the truck and the dealer was not responsible for the issue and I contacted with help center at us. They sent a somebody to fix the problem but he was not able to fix the issue and he called someone else for towing the truck and I was waiting for long time but they didn’t care about the customer right. I expected them to apologize and compensate for me by they charged me 90$ instead. This was my first experience and it was very horrible for me and my family at the day of movement.

owner was more concerned about cross-selling his other products and services than getting out the door. The Uhaul system needs to be better when consumers order online. the equipment I wanted was not available at the location although on the site it stated it was available. although my criticism for the cross-selling stands he did manage to get his last available truck for me.

Was robbed of $20 by store owner. Told due to late charge while I returned the veh the same day it was rented. Person who rented it said I had until the next morning at 9 AM to return it. I returned it by 9 PM in the evening and I still got charged an extra $20 by the greedy store owner.

I requested to rent a utility dolly but upon pick up there was no uhaul dolly available. The store owner, I assume, offered his personal dolly for $15. Above the cost of Uhaul. He also tried to sell me on every business adventure he partakes in, including real estate, salt for use with alcohol window coverings etc. The location was a convenience store. I asked if I could leave my daughter in law a key for her vehicle, and though it was a favor asked he made her purchase something before he would give the key. So an almost $6 coconut water it was! Very disappointed that the equipment I rented (dolly) was not available. I did not rent his personal dolly! A very uncomfortable/akward situation.

Car drove fine and pickup/drop off was relatively easy however the car was not clean or well taken care of. After I dropped off the vehicle I noticed a rash on my leg as a result of the unclean drivers seat. It is very uncomfortable and requires prescription medication to heal properly. I would like to be properly compensated for the lack of care of this vehicle.

Please provide the responsible person over ther with enough knowledge about their job. I came there and she told me nobody's going to bring a truck for you because they are still using it. I asked her to Cal the customer service to find out what can I do and she said it's none of my business. Finally another truck came in and I asked her about the ramp for the back of the truck and she said I don't know what's the ramp.

Everything went well until we had to pick up the truck from the location. The clerk who served us was rude and kept asking for the same information over and over again. We would not recommend others to this location simply because of that. Thank you Muriel Lopez

I do have a couple issues. I was charged for furniture blankets that I ordered and never received. And the gas was not completely full when I got it and I filled it up when returning. So either I gifted U-haul some gas or haven't been properly compensated.

The vehicle sizing did not include the interior tire well space and so the rental ended up being useless and we had to use a personal dolly to wheel the item on foot many blocks since it didn’t fit into the rented cargo van. We are beyond disappointed with this experience.

I used told the shop i would use the vehicle for about 40km i didnt even reach 30 and still got charged extra. If i took a picture after i returned the truck. I would argue if i did but im sure i did less than 30km i barely touched the gas it came with i only had to gas up 10$

Location confirmed to have UHaul Dolly which is not correct. Proceed to offer us their personal dolly which cost more than what Uhaul charge. The vehicle is low in maintenance and has foul odor. The vehicle was handed over to us with a low tire pressure on the right rear tire. We were running behind schedule and was trying to explain to the owner. We receive nothing but yelling on the other end. In the end, we decided to call UHaul customer service instead and was very easy to deal with. I will rent with UHaul again, however, definitely not from this location.

experience was good online, but not seamless at store. I could not do online pickup of vehicle, required me to go into store and reenter info with clerk. Also was told problem with my booking because i had scheduled return after store closed, so needed to return next day. However noticed a u-haul key return box outside store. So a lot of room for process was mprovement

Gas tank was empty when picking up truck. I had to put $99.99 of gas into the tank and was not given any back pay for it. So i was charged 92 for the truck rental and milage then i had to give up 100 in gas for free to the company. Plus my check in was forced to be 2.5hs shorter than it should have been. I was supposed to have a 10:30pm drop off and forced to do an 8pm drop off dispite my reservation or else id be double charged for the check out time.

I found a retainer for your teeth in the back of the truck, an open water bottle in the front, as well as used napkins in the doors. The sliding door at the back would stick and took extra effort to open, the tires were left flat on the right side of the vehicle, and the chair was broken (didn’t move forward). The man in charge too charged me for a protection plan when I clearly stated on my profile I did not want that, and when I explained that, he did not offer to refund me. He also did not give me any paperwork for the truck and didn’t inspect the truck before or after. Worst uhaul experience I’ve ever had, from the guy in charge to the truck itself being dirty and broken. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!
