The truck had no air in the front tire. Gary was nice enough to fill it up with a compressor. The reason we picked up the truck at this location was because the location I had my reservation at (Xions Crossroads) did not have the truck I had reserved and confirmed. Nobody called to tell me the truck wasn't there and offered me two 10''s instead of the 26' I had reserved.

I was given a pickup location over 50 miles away from my requested location. I had to make several phone calls, taking a long time, to figure out the least bad option in terms of location and size of truck. I ended up 10 miles farther away than I wanted but with a truck that was way too big for me. You should not tell me my reservation is "confirmed" if there is no available truck of the right size anywhere near me.

I did have a problem with being able to get the uhaul at the location I requested. I had to drive 30 minutes just to pick up the truck. The location office itself was fine it was just out of the way for me.

No problem with the location or their service. My problem is with U-haul. I had a reservation for a 10 ft. truck. Then we were told there was no 10 ft but we would get a 15’. Then another message came saying it would be a 25’. I called the location and the gentleman said the reservation was all wrong and he’d do a new one. But he said he wouldn’t have 10’ truck but would give me a 15’ for the same price. That was all fine until the day before the move, UHaul calls me to say you don’t have any trucks. So I ended up having to accept a cargo van which was not big enough and I would now have to take multiple trips. I eventually decided to make only one trip with the van and return and made 3 more trips with my mid-sized pickup so I wouldn’t have to pay the extra mileage. It did take me a lot longer since the round trip was about 40 miles. In summary, I had a reservation which seemed pointless since it didn’t really reserve anything, I had to take a few hours out of my work day to try to straighten out this mess. I had to make extra trips due to the inadequate vehicle. If I had known UHaul would be so inept, I would’ve rented from another company initially. But to call the day before and tell me my reservation was worthless is inexcusable. You’d think I would have at least been offered a discount of something. You can bet I will be sharing this debacle all over social media and advise all my clients (real estate) to steer clear of UHaul. Thanks for increasing the stress of my daughter’s move and increasing the time and costs.

Reserving the truck online was little confusing bc the program didn't allow me to finish. So I called the uhaul office..somewhere? They gave me the number to dispatch, they are the friendliest people EVER!!!! I was sent a text to reconfirm at the pick up location....VM....NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK and it was DURING OFFICE HOURS! I was running late, so I left a message and said I would be late. Good thing I did the agent said he was about to rent my truck out..SAY WHAT? However; the rental agent was courteous. I purchased 24 pads, we only used maybe 4. I can't remember the price for either, but there is NO REFUND FOR UNUSED UNOPENED BAGSI BUT I PAID FOR THE PADS/BLANKETS really think that's unfair. I WANT MY MONEY!!!! I'm sure its somewhere in the contract blah blah I also purchased 2 boxes (4 my TV and round mirror. but didn't feel comfortable because they were bigger than the mirror which wouldn't have protected them from shifting. I believe those were almost $20/each? GUESS WHAT??? NO REFUND AT THE RETURN LOCATION!!!! ****GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR THE BOXES OR USE THE BLANKETS***** The guy at the office said that I could return them to the corporate office? Where? DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT TOO? TOTALLY DISAGREE The truck was clean, except for the windshield. I purchased a $7.00 LOCK for the back door, it's not really clear where to use it, at first it didn't work...GO TO THE DOLLAR STORE. Oh and the side mirrors do not move so you really can't use them. The AC works really well, my truck wasn't really loaded down and it did a great job on the mountains. And the truck ran really well. Would I use uhaul again?????....YES. SKIP THE BOXES AND BLANKETS!!!!

After all the hassles, frustration, lost work and countless chats back and forth with 3 uhaul representatives over 3 days, I was charged $40 for less than 1/8 tank of gas and $78 for returning the truck 2 hours late. Rip off! Never again uhaul! Never again!

Lots of dead bugs in and our unit. The climate control may be ok but we had items with moisture damage. The receipt I received could not be viewed. I paid for 30 days only used 10 days. No refund???

Nothing! Absolutely outstanding service both at the counter location and to the rep on the phone. I had an outstanding issue, I was unaware of and all parties were very helpful and patient! I will rent again! Loved the van and the cold a/c!!

Customer service rarely answers the phone. Picking the truck up on our own was practically impossible. We had to call the owner of the storage facility to come out and help because the online app did not function properly. It took us over two hours at the U-Haul site to even get the keys to the truck and leave.

When using truck share, you must have the primary driver present for verification. Any other listed drivers can not pick up. We called the regional office when we ran into this problem and when they picked up (after a 20 minute wait), the lady didn't know how to change the primary driver. She then put us on hold which bumped us back down to the bottom of the list where we waited another 30 minutes. Luckily, Gary Wyatt came to work early and asked us if he could help. Within 20 minutes of his arrival, he had changed the primary driver and we were on the road. Without Gary, we wouldn't have made our house closing appointment nor would we have been able to move all of our belongings in one day. Gary Wyatt completely saved our experience. I really hope he gets some recognition!
