I had rented a storage unit and found out that I needed another one. I called the next day and Bob was there to help me get it fast. We also need a uhaul truck and was scheduled to get it the next day but someone brought one back same day and Bob called and informed us and we was able to get it a day before. Owner was the rudest man I've ever felt with for uhaul. Customer service was horrible. I didn't even want to go through with giving him my money. But I had no choice. I needed to get done with my project. Will not be going back to him. I wanted a full refund at the end of the day. But I just did not want to go back and deal with him. It REALLY wasn't the pickup place, but the uhaul company itself. I did everything needed to be done to get it...texted, emails, even a phone call from someone on info as to who would be driving it. However, when we got there, they had the truck but they were clueless as to any info. It took us 30 minutes to get "permission" to take the 3 hour truck to do what I rented it for.Sue R.

This was not our original pick up location. We had to drive an hour to pick up the truck because our original location did not have our reserved truck. This meant that instead of getting our truck at noon it was 4:45 before we had one. Very bad Uhaul service rendered!!Marie G.

I called Smithfield who told me to come they had the vehicle. After getting there, i found they did not.. They registered me to pick up in Flowertown Plantation store. However the man didn't wish to complete the transaction during pickup. I was told to rreegister again on my mobile in a hot car. This was after registering at another store in Smithfield. I was never given the rate to plan. After 30 minutes the man came to my car and asked if I was done. The website was faulty, therefore I couldn't complete. The buttons on the site would not complete. I went in the guy did my paperwork. Did NOT provide an estimate! During the trip the horn didn't work. I filled the tank up and tried to download the pictures to the site with mileage and gas. The website was faulty and didn't let me download the pictures ??. I saw that the gasoline amount was incorrect and the mileage was almost 100 miles more ??. called the next day but the lady had me on hold so long i hung up. I am amazed at how horrible a service Uhaul gave ??!!!Vanessa D.

We had a really good experience with the location but U-Haul 24-7 any time truck pick up was the worst experience we h e ever had with U-Haul nothing worked at all when I tried to use the app to pick up my rented truck and when I tried to use the website my profile would not show my reservation for the truck I rented. This issue caused me to waste 2 hrs on my moving day due to the issues I was having with picking up my truck. I definitely think some time needs to be put in to making sure the app is working properly so no one else runs in to this issue. This problem has definitely made me not want to use U-Haul in the future.Benjamin Y.

Negative was the reservation was made online and they didn't have it when I arrived. Nor did they carry vans which was what my reservation was for. However they did have a truck for my use. If they were booked I would have been out of luck and it would have cost extra.Penny H.

On was very helpful after I stopped two days before drop off to check on a storage reservation at his location. I Happened to ask why I couldn't drop a 6x12 with him, and he said that I could. Probably not for rental. Invoice says I dropped it off 9 AM the next morning and the video will show I dropped the truck the night before ~6:30 about 45 minutes past the 24 hour rental. I was told that would not be an issue. I would not have rushed to get the truck back during an already stressful time if I was just going to be charged for a full second day.Don B.

I cannot even begin to describe the difficulty this placed caused me. Being a few minutes late, my truck had already been reserved to someone else. That's fine I get it. However when I got told to go to a different location because my reservation was changed, they didn't have any knowledge of the reservation (this was 30 mins away). Told me to call the dispatch center in N.C. to get another truck. When I called, someone in Richmond VA answered, they put me on hold for 20 mins and then someone in TAMPA answered! Guess Richmond didn't think it was their problem. I got bounced around people and locations for over an hour. Meanwhile dealing with a family emergency and having only hours to be out of my hours! I got ZERO help from U-Haul and only problems. When someone in COLUMBIA SC finally decided to be helpful, she acknowledged that this sometimes happened because no one felt like problem solving which is a HUGE issue. When I finally got a truck.... guess what.. it was 45 mins the opposite direction of my move. Nothing has been done to compensate me for this. No one wanted to help. I was furious and will not use them again.Chris R.
