The employee, Jim, was a pleasant person at Fleet Repeat and helpful. He assisted in marking preexisting damage on the 15' truck, answered questions, but the truck had returned to his location two days prior and it had never been cleaned. I found empty water bottles under the passengers seat and food wrappers behind the seats after leaving his location. He did his best to assist cleaning up a mess with my contract that the Auburn, WA dispatch center would no resolve. I reserved my 15' vehicle in mid January 2021 for pickup in the Puyallup, WA area on March 30, 2021. 10 days prior to picking up the vehicle, I received a cancellation notice due to no vehicles available for my one way move to Alaska. While trying to resolve this, I was told by one of the Auburn, WA dispatchers that they had no vehicles available to me within their district from Northern California, Oregon or Washington State. I further asked where was the closest location where I could get a 15' truck for my moving needs. The dispatchers stated Boise, ID, 580 miles away from Auburn, WA and outside of their Uhaul district. I further asked if they would compensate me for my travel to Boise to pickup the vehicle and drive it back to Puyallup, WA to start my move. I was told I would not receive any compensation for my $1,055 out of pocket expense. I was upset, but I was forced to pay so I could accomplish my trip as planned during my leave from work.Lyle C.

Reserved a 10 ft. truck online. When I got to the uhal location I was sent to to pick up the truck I was told my order was at a different uhaul location. When I went there they didn't have a 10 ft. truck so I had to rent a larger truck that cost more. Bad experience. Won't be using uhaul again.Daniel T.

I was given the wrong information on the facility location. When arriving at the first facility l found all the people in the facility not wearing face masks. When arriving at the second facility I found the same along with anti-masking rhetoric. I was not given the full explanation of charges. I was told to fill the truck with gas. While charging me .99 cents per mile. You have lost a customer going forward. Very disappointed to say the least. I will not be recommending U-Haul services to anyone as well.Scott C.

Excellent and efficient customer service thank you! Back of truck was not swept out before I took it with me- there is a sign inside that there is an additional fee if the truck is not clean- and so I cleaned it once and then cleaned it after. The cab of the truck also smelled of cigarettes strongly. I mentioned this to the gentleman working and he said he would note it and I would not be charged. Still not a smell I wanted to have with me all day long- and yet, there it was. I did have luck with a same day rental so in the end yes I would recommend to a friend.Mary K.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. When he heard I was driving from Boise to Sacramento, he graciously reduced my mileage from .79 to .49 saving me hundreds! I rented a 26' box truck. It really drove nice. It was powered by a Triton V10 which I am now a HUGE fan of. The cab was very comfortable. I would highly recommend U-Haul AND this establishment.James N.

The website appears to not know the timezone of the person making a reservation. I originally had a 3:30 pm reservation, I called in to see if I could get something earlier and was informed that I was, in fact, late to pick a truck at 1:30 pm. Then I noticed that it was not for the location closest to me, as I requested. (The location less than 500 yards from my house) I was instead routed to a location 3 miles away. That said, I found the operator of this location both friendly and helpful. The vehicle was exactly as expected and I concluded my business in the vehicle without drama.Dwayne R.

There was very little signage to let me know I was in the right location. I worried that I was leaving my truck in a vacant parking lot. On my way to San Diego the trailer constantly had a problem with a tire losing air. I had to stop every 200 miles to charge the tire with air. I am asking for a credit in the amount of $10 per day. Which equals $40 for the entire trip. I turned the trailer in 1 day early. My number is 619 654 0323. I am lucky I got there without ruining the tire. The person working there was friendly, but he talked me into just leaving and getting an email receipt. He seemed to imply i would take a while before I could be checked in, so I agreed and left. I should have stayed throughout the checkout process. I was charged a cleaning fee of $10 even though I left the truck CLEANER THAN I GOT IT. The truck wasn't even clean when I got it--all the windows and mirrors were dirty and there was dust and dirt in the back cab. I swept it out (before and after the rental) I looked online and saw that the rented pads were supposed to be folded. It would have been nice if they mentioned that when I checked out the truck. Since they were clean, and wrapped in plastic, I assumed they had to be washed before wrapping in plastic again. Nope, not the case. Most of them were folded, but a few weren't, so I was charged $10 for what was likely about 2 minutes worth of work. I could've done that if I had known. Watch out for U-haul. They will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING POSSIBLE.Cindee G.

When returning the truck at 3:00 pm there was no one present at the drop site. There is an older drop-off sign with a box to deposit the key and a copy of the contract. Requested you place a lock on the truck box and leave the key to prevent equipment theft. In general a poor arrangement.James S.

You debited me for two U-Haul charges when I only orders one truck, an extra $1000 was gone. I had $1200 to spend on my truck and $1200 to spend on the weekend move. I was left with $200 to move over a three day weekend. Casey Jones the manager was cruel and combative and insulting. I told him I didn't want to deal with him because I didn't deserve any his combativeness (I'm a middle aged grandma and I'm too old to put up with it). He said he was the â€œpresident of marketingâ€, he was the â€œend of the lineâ€, he said I â€œhad jumped a lot of levels and I was lucky to get him and I was not speaking to anyone elseâ€. I told him at his level he isn't allowed to act like that. Cruel. Cruel. No other word could describe him other than cruel.andrea H.

Business was locked when I arrived to get my trailer. Guy eventually arrived, issued a tow dolly that had a fender taped together with electrical tape. I ended up having to patch it twice from Boise to Salem. For my first time renting from UHaul, there was no â€œwhat you need to know to rentâ€ document for using a tow dolly. I didn't know you needed a 2â€ hitch ball and a 4 pin electrical adapter to my standard 8 pin on my truck. The UHaul rep was happy to sell me a hitch and connector for another $40. This whole operation is shady and I probably won't rent from UHaul again. The building and operation is shady, I was instructed to go to this location as the other one in Boise didn't have a dolly. I will travel elsewhere next time if I need a dolly, I won't pick up from this location again.Aaron S.
