Trailer wasn't connected correctly - the hitch wasn't attached properly- and was only attached by the safety chain. It only took a minute to realize there was a serious problem, but I had just pulled into the street and so I had to cross traffic to reach the opposite side of the street. The proprieter came over and hooked it correctly. Still it was pretty tense for a few minutes with traffic trying to get around me. You should know the rental location was filthy, disheveled and trashed out. I have taken a few photos if you'd like. Finally, to top it all off, when the propriator came around the desk, he was wearing pajama bottoms. I'm not kidding. Again, I can send you pictures. A company like Uhaul has a good reputation, but you should take a look at this operation. It's an embarrassment.MANFRED D.

To begin with, have staff there and available to assist during the hours that are posted of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday. I returned the truck at 2:30 pm. There was no one available at that location. I managed to call someone based on a text message I received. The location itself was dirty, rundown and had overflowing trash cans on a dirt lot that did not look cared for in the least that had two other U-Haul trucks on it or I would not have known this is where the truck should be left. There was no one available to inspect or lock the back of the truck where I left the dollies and blankets as requested. I dropped the keys and the rental contract in the box mounted near the door.Robin E.
I had my rental for 24 hours. My drop off time was 5:30pm! We got there just before that and you charged me for a full day again!!! Absolutely not ok!!!! When we got there I got right on customer chat to let them know that it took us a few minutes to park because the parking lot is way too small. It was only a few minutes after that we put the key in the dropbox and I cannot believe that you would charge for a full day knowing that. You can look in the chat box and see that I was trying to get a hold of an agent and no one ever responded. I expect a full refund for that day within 24 hours or I will escalate this hire. I tried to call your customer service and sat on hold for 25 minutes with no answering. How do you run a business and not have anyone available to talk to? It's a Wednesday afternoon it's not a weekend. I will never rent from U-Haul if this is not fixed. I also told the agent and chat we never use the dolly which you could see because it was never unlocked and ask for the refund for the dolly and did not get that. We left it was much more gas than what it had and then you dare charge for an extra day when we were there on time and we told the agent in chat that we were having to be a few minutes late because of parking? This is awful customer service and I expect a response within 24 hours it is April 1 and I expect a response by April 2 and a refund.Melissa R.

I would highly recommend sending email attachments like receipts and contracts in PDF form. I was unable to open any of the email attachments after picking up my rental and I was only able to pull up one attachment from my phone the entire weekend. Truck was fine but , the place was sloppy, and they was supposed to close at 5 but was closed at 350, so I couldn't return my truck.. and had to get on the phone and call the U-Haul hotline and be on hold for 35mins.. I wanted to explain that I didn't use the pads in the back, it was when I put my furniture on it ,the green label rip off.. but since they was close I didn't have a chance to do that, next morning I was charged when they billed me. Lesson learn drive the extra ten minutes to find a better and cleaner U-Haul location..Luis N.
