The trailer I was given did not fit the vehicle I was trying to tow. I put in the correct vehicle when reserving the trailer and it said it would work. When I told the attendant upon return of the trailer he stated that the trailers are not meant for full size trucks. When making a reservation it should be noted to the customer that the trailer will not fit the vehicle wishing to be towed

The auto hauler we rented looked great. However, 7 miles out of town the front passenger tire blew out on the hauler. We had to sit and wait 3 hours for someone to come change the tire! UHaul could not get someone in Cody, Wy to do the repair. I would contract with Eagle Recovery or Big Horn Co-Op or Bear Co Tires NOT RIMROCK TIRES - they do not have enough employees and are extremely lax. Someone from over 100 miles away had to come to our aid. That is just unacceptable.

I don't believe they inspect the equipment when it comes it. The dolley I rented had a taillight out and a bracket with broken rivets.

It might be advisable to have all service agents clean out and check all the storage bins and boxes in the cab of the trucks when checking them in or before renting to another customer. Might save the customer from finding firearms or other not wanted items.

What happens if your given the wrong trailer ?

Make sure I get credit for the trailer that we didn’t use yet paid for. We thought we needed a truck and trailer however the truck was all we needed so we took the trailer back after one day.

U-haul provided instructions for dropping off my truck but not the trailer I rented. When I called to get help they left me on hold. Very frustrating.

This is a continuation of the comments on the pick up location. Everything at the drop off location was excellent. This experience was a nightmare. First the rate I was charged was 20% higher than what I was quoted when I made the reservation. I said I needed a 7AM pickup and they said no problem. The afternoon before I received a text saying it Should be picked up at a different location and not available till 10 AM. I called and they directed me to a traffic person who said nothing could be done. I asked to speak to her manager but she apparently left for the day. I asked her to have her manager listen to the tape of our conversation and call me back the next day - she never did. I went to the location that they told me to go to for the trailer. The arrogant person said he had no idea about the trailer. I showed him the text and the email that said the trailer was supposed to be there - he blew it off. Upon further checking he said the trailer was at the original location that it was supposed to have it. I started driving there and was called and said the trailer was on the computer but not physically there. Ten minutes later I was called again and was told one just arrived and was there. I almost lost a sales over this not even considering the stress and additional mileage I did running all over town. The person I was delivering the vehicle to had to change all his plans as we were three hours off because of the change by U Haul. I will never do business with these guys again. The only person who did any good for me was Jackson at the Grand store. He was a great young man and should get a promotion for being so diligent in trying to make a terrible experience for me a little tolerable. Being a business manager, this situation was a textbook case of how not to run a business. Customer satisfaction is zero. Reservations are practically worthless. Managers don’t seem concerned about anything. I could go on, but based on my experience I doubt anyone will even read this.

I went in there to rent a uhaul trailer and the guy wasted 7 hours of my time to buy the truck I was hauling. Ounce I told him my dad passed he was all over it.
