I am very upset with U-Haul. I was overcharged for mileage. When it was never explain to me that I could not go beyond 30 miles renting the truck. That was after I already paid for 133 miles. Someone needs to get in contact with me from this company. Because I paid an additional $147 or 148 and I only drove 199 MI. Which means you also hold me some money backkarl J.

We were in and out very quickly at the pick-up location. Staff were very professional. Drop was simple and quick using U-Hauls drop off app. Nice equipment and overall nice experience! Highly recommended!STEVEN S.
I received the truck that I rented dirty. I returned it as same as condition I took. And they charged me fee for not returning the truck clean. I'M SO MAD. I don't think I'll rent truck from you EVER again.Abdullrahman A.

This was very disappointing. I drove an hour plus to Richmond from FarmVille to pick up a couch. Only to realize that the back of the 10' truck was filled with roaches. I have been taken in a run around from the Uhaul experience. Filed a complaint for over 30 minutes on the phone, to only hear nothing. To call back two weeks later and be told that there is no complaint on file. Had to re-file, got the reference number, and was told a regional manager would be in touch within 3 business days. Very upset and would never use this store again!!!!!!!!!Ronnie T.

Availability was an issue. This location had one trailer, so I didn't have much choice than to take the one that was available - even though it was pretty "beat up". It worked - it was functional, but for sure has a lot of miles on it.Jacob W.

The uhaul that I rented had a maintenance issue. The truck jerked all the way down the road, as if someone put bad gas in it. It was awful. I tried calling the place I picked it up from they advised me to keep driving, if it brake down call the roadside assistance number on the paper for help. Remind you I was traveling 2 hours away. It was awful ! Never experienced this issue with uhaul services before.miesha W.

We used the Uhaul app to schedule moving help. The order was confirmed by Uhaul, but on moving day - no help. No calls, explanations or recommendations for alternatives. My wife and I (both senior citizens) had to do all the heavyifting ourselves. NEVER AGAIN.Dennis J.

I was scolded for being an hour late and sat at the counter waiting for over 30 minutes even though I had already done the mobile check in. He was too busy mentioning all the people who he turned away even though I had already paid for the truck rental.Vivian K.

Employee failed at many things that I requested and stated. I told him I was returning in one city and he put down another city. I picked the trailer up at 12pm and he put me down for 11am. So I lost an hour there.Benett D.

Got charged $30 extra for being 30 minutes late. That doesn't seem very fair when you make the customer do the check in and check out process on their own. I probably could have had the process finished 15 minutes earlier but because I am not a U-Haul professional . I think this policy should be reviewed and possibly a little bit of leniency applied to your customers contracts in the day and age of coronavirus and quarantine.Justin S.

There was a check-in snafu with the uhaul software - it issued an error "something went wrong on our end" 3 hours after i logged it back in. Fortunately, i was on the phone with one of the employees through a common friend when i returned it. I called as i was told to. I spoke to a uhaul representative who said everything was all right. Next day, i get billed for an extra day. The people at Farmville Sporting have been great, but the uhaul people not so much. Buy something at Farmville Sporting, but rent a Ryder.John W.

Your charging for a set amount of days. I had only had the equipment for 2 days and was charged for 4. If equipment is brought back within the time allotted there should be a refund of some amount.John S.

i went to the drop off location in advance to be sure of where to leave truck and where to put key. the owner was very courteous, helpful, and informativeedward S.
I scheduled a mobile pickup because I needed the truck before the opening hours but was unable to pickup the truck due to some issue with the mobile app. I did everything - pictures of drivers license, headshot, etc. The app just kept saying my rental qualifications were being reviewed and I tried chatting with no response ever. When the store opened, an employee there had to complete my checkout because the app just would not work. That put my entire day running late for pickup appointments. This was not a good experience.Terrance B.
