Tiny little run down garage off the beaten path. If you have any issues with picking up your rental, DO NOT go here. We were supposed to pick up our vehicle somewhere else and our reservation was changed to this place with no notice.

I was over charged and spoke with a representative 4 different times referencing the fact i NEVER received the equipment i paid for. I needed to extend my truck rental by 4 hours, might I add I rented the truck at 7 am at a price of $19.95 a day and just needed to return it at 4 instead of 12 due to the fact there was no equipment that i paid for, and was overcharged for that also. Will NEVER use uhaul again, especially when the last customer service representative - Barbara - that i spoke with ensured me this wouldn’t happen. Disappointed is a understatement.

No one was present during normal office hours or available by phone number listed. I dropped the truck off and the receiving location did not check in the truck on time. I was subsequently charged an extra $40 which I will be disputing.

I rented a 5x8 trailer with no rental insurance. When I received my final bill I was charged $8.00 for insurance that I should not have been charged.

I would recommend her location to any friends and family. She eased the stress associated with the for a rental. Thank You.

I USED UHAUL BEFORE BUT I FELT OVERCHARGED WITH THIS LOCATION. I RENTED A $19.99 TRUCK TO GO FROM NORTHSIDE TO FAR SOUTHSIDE, I PAID 125.00 - THE MOST I HAVE EVER PAID! I HAVE RENTED TRUCKS TO MOVE, MADE NUMEROUS TRIPS AND DID NOT PAY THIS MUCH. I NEVER ASKED FOR EXTRA INSURANCE AS I HAVE CAR INSURANCE; WE RETURNED A CLEAN, UNDAMAGED TRUCK AND REPLACED GAS USED AND STILL WAS CHARGED TOO MUCH. I WILL NEVER USE THAT LOCATION AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT.

The young lady who helped us Latoya was just SUPER HELPFUL!! and just very customer service orientied. I had to go out of my way to get this truck, but am actually THANKFUL that the Mechanicsville location was booked up. Latoya really was helpful and went over everything step by step and I just cannot say enough good things about her. I am a Real Estate Agent and know all about customer service. So, Latoya's postive, helpful and upbeat attitude was very appreciated!!!! Thank you for these people

Friendly, helpful service. Relatively quick (using the early check-in). Small, not a lot of equipment, but I would use it again.

The trailer I rented did not have a jack on it. It was impossible to lift up the trailer tongue to put it on trailer hitch when the trailer was loaded. Lifting the trailer tongue took 3 men and injured 2 of them by pulling muscles in their backs! I had to go to Advance Auto and buy a hand jack so that I could remove the trailer from the vehicle. Also, the right side brake and turn lights did not work. I want a refund!

We scheduled to pick up one of the trailers at this location and the trailer was completely rusted on the outside and coming apart on the inside. There was also dirt on the inside of the trailer. It was not in any condition to be used to move furniture. We ended up not using the trailer and using a truck from another Uhaul location, but it still took several phone calls and over a week to get the money refunded.

Have someone knowledgeable about the U-Haul policies and procedures would be of great assistance. And, the vehicle was dirty! Also, I had a Gift Certificate from U-Haul but the rental was still charged to my credit card! It remains on my account even today.

The only issue I had was that I requested to rent the trailer from the uhaul pickup near my new apartment but ended up having to drive thirty minutes out of the way to pick it up when it changed the location. The people at the location were great and very helpful, however.

More clarity about what to do about drop off. I showed up during office hours (around 4:00) and found nobody there. I called the number but got no response. I used a key drop, which was the only indication to me that this was, in fact, a UHaul location.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a rental. I rented a van for one day and drove it 19 miles and they charged me for two days and still have not gotten it right even though I have spoken with 4 different people at U-Haul. I have wasted a lot of time on the telephone and would never use U-Haul again and I certainly would not recommend them to anyone. They should be refunded all of my money because they have cost me more than that in time and aggravation !!!

This is my second time within 3 yrs. using uhaul and having issues. I dont know if its this location or what. The first time the gas gage didn't work so they had to send me a refund which took about 6mo before I received it and this time I was told their was a computer glitch that took money off my card the same day I rented the truck charging me 168. Now I have to wait for a refund AGAIN. Which messed up my food for the house, gas to get the kids to and from school, me to work and also my childrens Christmas because the stuff I almost had paid off in layways had to be put back since I didn't have the money this past Saturday. So thanks to uhaul it looks like my kids wont have a Christmas. And to top it off the place where I picked the truck up from told me I would have a refund by that sat(said 1-2 days) and when I called customer care it seems like they didn't know I was suppose to get a refund so it took 5 days to even begin the refund process

eventhough the staff was nice they were very slow with getting me set up in the system. I was also inconveienced the next day when I was called repeately early the next morning to advise me the gas was not filled up when I knew that it was becuz the truck was parked in a way that made the gas hand tilt.

They cancelled my reservation and I had to get in touch with the regional office to get it worked out. At point they had let the truck go on a in town reservatiOn. I did get my rental but it was 8 hours late.
