A move is expensive. Your company definitely profits excessively. While the daily rate is very reasonable, the cost per mile puts renting a moving truck beyond most people's ability to afford. I was once told to make the most profit sell to many cheaply rather than to few at a higher cost. Everything is expensive, and I think you'd do more business if you lowered the cost per mile. Otherwise, our experience was positive.Joshua W.

This location was great and I appreciate the online check-in but it was a very slow process. I also didn't love that I was responsible for checking the truck for damage. I would not do fully online pickup again because of that.Tamara L.

It took an hour to pick up my rental with nobody in front of me in line. It was t the location's fault. But U-Hauls. You marked my account as too many cancellations. Which didn't make sense since I had a active reservation. You guys also set it to a location that I did not specify. Overall not the best experience.Jacob H.

I took one or 2 pics when I got the truck and sent in when asked for... it was filthy inside the cab and the back wasn't swept out. When I returned asked the lady at the store should I return online, she said no, she would take care of it, then I looked at a text from you and it said click here to return. When it asked was the trick clean, first I answered no, because when I got it, it was bad.... when I get to the end they want to charge me a cleaning fee. Are you for real ?? So I changed that because why would I pay for someone's else's dirty trick?? Lady at the counter told me that because I picked it up before they were open she hadn't had the chance to look at it. Yeah, ok. Then when I asked why I should have to pay someone else's cleaning fee, she said call uhaul..... what ??? UNPROFESSIONAL AND DIRTY.Vicki T.

The person at the location was good. The computer system and phone support made my rental take about an hour to complete. Previous experiences were less than 15 minutes to complete.Thomas L.

The uhaul location manager told me it was alright to leave my personal cargo trailer parked at the uhaul location. My carrier had mechanical issues. I swapped the cargo to a uhaul carrier to get my trailer repaired. When my personal Carrier was being picked up to To be repaired It was no longer at the u-haul location. It had been towed By the franchise owner of u-haul who also owns the towing company. Do to time and money I left my trailer because I couldn't pick it up at the tow location I took the u-haul trailer to my point of destination and then you all tried to charge me another $500. And now i no longer have my carrier.Timothy R.

My pick up/drop off location got changed the morning of pick up without my knowledge. It made me 45 minutes late to meet the movers I only had for 2 hours which cost me money and I barely had the movers help for what was needed. The new location for pick up/drop off was also much further so gas and mileage wise I ended up spending more as well. Never again. Ridiculous.Jennifer R.
Excellent experience dropping off. The lady was welcoming and walked us through the whole process to drop off. We went out to the truck and looked at everything, she verified the miles and fuel level. Then she confirmed drop off and we were on our way. I even had to come back because I realized I left a garage door opener in a cup holder. She got us back into the truck no problems to get my item. Great location easy to get to and friendly staff.Sean W.

I had a pickup for a location that at last minute was changed to a location farther away and thus cost more time and money. Then we arrive and the 24/7 pickup service was a disaster. We spent over 45 minutes before we were finally able to get the code to the lock to get keys. There were two other customers who were there at same time and had the exact same issue. We stayed and helped one older couple get there keys finally too. What a disaster.Steve S.
The help and customer service we experienced from the woman we rented the dolly from was exceptional. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. However... when we got the dolly to the car we were towing, we realized that whoever had it last had tied up the straps and cranked and even knotted them so tight that we literally could not get them undone to attach our car. It was an absolute nightmare, took us an hour to figure out, and we had a passerby who stopped to help help us with it. If it weren't for him, we would still be on the side of the road now trying to figure this out! I can't believe that wasn't taken into account before we were given the dolly. It was also older, so the straps were exstiff and difficult to manipulate. Then, when I returned it to the place near our home, and logged in online to return my equipment, it couldn't find my order. I ended up having to just leave it, and call to let them know I had when they were open again. If it weren't for the amazing woman who helped us get this rented in the first place, I would give the whole experience one star.jamie M.

This is not specific to the drop off location, they were very helpful and friendly. I picked up the truck with 1/8 of a tank of gas. I was told at the pickup location I would receive a $30 credit if I returned it with 1/4 tank or more. I returned the truck with the tank at 3/8 but did not receive credit.Brent S.

Muku the attendant was excellent. This whole rental experience was terrible. My location was changed to 90 miles from my home. The bill was $3630 higher than quoted which had to be fixed. And took over an hour to get ahold of the company. But the attendant at the location was great. The rest of uhaul can go to hell. This experience was a nightmare.James L.

I was notified 2 days before our need for the truck that it would not be available. Apparently, someone else booked it seconds before we did. I'm not sure why it took 2-3 weeks for us to be notified. We had to drive 10 miles farther to pick it up.Marian D.

The truck was not available at 8am as promised. I had to wait until 930am when someone arrived, to look in the computer and figure out the truck was still showing as rented. He cleared it in the computer and I took the truck. Foolishly I signed the contract and did a cursory look at the truck. I did not notice the mileage on the truck was almost 100 miles higher than the contract stated. When I returned the truck the person told me what it said. I showed him my Google map history showing exactly where I drove and when. He said he would talk to someone else to figure out what they could do since I was obviously being over charged. I only went 112 miles and was charged far more than that. The charge finally went through today and it was the full over charged amount. I will never used this location again, and will not expect uhaul rental folks to do their jobs and record proper mileage. I have nobody to blame but myself for expecting them to know how to do their jobs. I signed the contract but will never use that location again.Paul B.
We had to go through the online check in process and when we went to the lock box for the keyâ€¦there was no key inside and the store the pickup location was at was closed. We contacted uhaul and they reached out to the store and an employee was sent to retrieve the key from inside the store for us. The uhaul rep told us we would receive some sort of $50 credit, which per the bill, we never received and an hour of our time was wasted. Just a horrible experience.Brandon P.
I originally scheduled a 26' box truck for 8am at a location near me with 3 dozen furniture pads. Then it was changed to a location a half hour away that didn't open till 11am. Then they didn't have the truck. So I got stuck with a 20' truck. At this point it is like 2pm and they didn't have furniture and neither does any other uhaul location. So I had to drive and buy them from harbor freight. There goes another hour in commute. No I have a truck that is too small and no time to fill it. Now I have to make another trip to get the rest of my stuff. But this time it will go smoother because I will never use uhaul again.Matthew C.

I don't think there's anything you can improve at this location I do have to say that the young lady that took care of me the older woman I don't know her name I don't remember she made me feel so welcome and so good about renting the U-Haul I was all alone so far away from home and she made my experience ranting from Uhaul the best rental experience ever she was just super super super super nice and courteousALICIA N.

I'm a widow and there was no one there to help me get the trailer off the truck. Also they don't give a receipt and it's a weird feeling to just drop off equipment with no proof you dropped it off other than that at least U-Haul didn't change my drop off location like they did with my pick upKathleen E.

I reserved a 20 foot truck days in advance. This location was out of my way, but I chose it because it offered a 20 foot truck. It was not until I arrived in the morning that I was told the truck I reserved was not at the site. I was given a 15 foot truck in its place, which did not meet my needs. Had I known sooner than the morning-of that the truck was not available, I would have cancelled my reservation and found another location from which to rent a larger truck.Brad S.

I requested 24 pads. My truck had 6. I requested a dolly. There were actually TWO, but one was not secured and bounced around until I moved it to a car. The agent was friendly but knew little about the truck...he thought there were no pads and no dollys. The truck had a warning light that neither of us seemed to understand. Otherwise the experience was reasonably smooth and the pricing fair.Richard T.

When you have a 8am pick up you shouldn't have to wait till noon to get the truck . Truck was ok jumped on Highway at 60 and the lights in back of truck had been disconnected the wires just hung there and with a noon pickup we were unloading in pitch blackJack T.

My biggest issue was with the customer service I received when I called the (703) number. The lady was rude, refused to help me navigate the online pick up your truck option. The on-site Uhaul staff seemed to have no clue how to check out a Uhaul. She gave me the keys to the wrong truck. It was really a bad experience all the way around.Nadine K.

This truck was very old with lots of damage and problems. The last customer's trash was so in the truck when I got it so I had to clean it out. The check engine light was on the entire time. Please do some maintenance on the vehicles.DAVID ANDREW N.

Reserved the Uhaul over a month in advance and was notified the night before that the truck was not available. I went to the location they told me had the truck and they indeed didn't not have the truck there. Ended up waiting 2.5 hours for a truck to show up and when I left I received an email with the incorrect drop off date and location. Will never be utilizing this service again.Sydney L.
