Mr Kevin was very accommodating, helpful, friendly, excellent and observant and eased our experience professionally, in spite of the fact his power in the area was coming and going, mostly going on a 93 degree day in a possibly 12x12 office. That smile. Thank you Mr Kevin at Family Car Sales and uhaul on #1 hwy N in Hoffman nc. Thank you uhaul. We have recommended to friends who will be moving in 1-2 months and helped us. Kevin was awesome, and lives close by so he is there early and leaves late. Hard worker and wants to see everything work out for the customer. My problem is with U-Haul as a whole, my reservation was at an entirely different vendor for a 26 foot truck. I show up to where my email confirmation says to go, and they tell me that I was switched to this location for a 15 foot truck. I ended up paying more money in gas and $1 a mile charge at a farther location than my move, more money in gas because I had to make multiple trips since I had a smaller truck and couldn't do anything about it, and a very unhappy customer who was charged more because it took longer. I don't know what we would have done had Kevin Ingram not still been open after all the other UHaul dealers in Randleman, N. C. had closed. He even loaned us a ball for the dolly we rented which we will return to him when we return to Wilmington. Such a nice man and we so appreciate him being there. Thank you, Kevin!CLYDE C.

My order changed multiple times, due to equipment availability. But when I got to this location, they had 2 tow dollies, although Uhaul told me the day before none were available. Seems like Uhaul's tracking and logistics is lacking, and causes customers to have to do the work in calling/verifying. Nor was there any compensation/discount for my order getting changed and me having to go further to get the equipment that previously was scheduled to be closer to my home. Not a great experience.DARREN T.

the lights did not work, I only had brake lights and directionals so I had to drive with the flashers on the whole time, also the tires are 1/2 baldSteven C.

Big fan of local business and the owner came in on short notice on a Sunday morning, and let us return without prior coordination on Labor Day. The trailer was pristine and he helped us hook up to our truck. I would definitely rent again from him.Richard B.

The truck and transport were 48 miles from the house. Uhaula did not bother to let us know the pick up was changed. I called multiple times trying to get the order corrected. One call in i was lied to. Tbe person said they were traffic. Yet traffic closed at 7pm and it was 9 pm. When my daughter went to pick up the truck the man was very rude and condisending. Told my daughter she could drive the truck because she was a woman. So her husband drove the truck. The got loaded amd headed to there destination. I called to make sure nothing else was chamged since I got a text message that uhaul had changed the drop off. Which yes they added more miles but no extra has for all this extra travel. They unload. Amd drop the truck off at the original drop point. My son in law took pictures of the truck and transport. Oh i forgot to mention i ordered a dolly got upgraded to a dolly the the man in hoffman nc desided he wanted them to have tbe dolly. My daughter showed him the invoice and after a battle with this rude condisending man he unhooked the dolly and hooked the transport up. So when my son in law gets to his destination at like 11pm Sunday night. He couldnt find the drop box. So i call n they said they wamted at a different address. I explained that the supervisor of traffic said it was open ended and we could drop it anywhere. My son in law grab everything out of the truck and shut tbe door. I told him just to go back in the morning since we still had time on the truck. MY son in law calls and lets me know he had locked the key in the truck on accident the night before and no one was at the store. He call uhaul. They tell him that the truck is totally insured so nreak the window and get the key because we would have to pay additional money if some came to unlock the truck. I called amd the man Niki I believe he said his mame was. Said not to worry. The truck would not be considered late since it was on the lot 2 days early and you could see the keys were in tbe truck. Now tonight I get an email stating they charged me $25 to clean a clean truck and another fee for the truck not being delivered 2.7 miles down the road after i was told on the phone that it was ok to leave it there that i had an open ended drop. I am extremely dissatisfied with Uhaul. And their associates, false peomises and information. I have reqested all tbe phone call recordings. Which it has been 3 days plus and still no copies.Tamara B.
