Tried to return one day early on 6/3 but location closed at 4PM so I waited until next day, still within the 5 day total but location didn't reopen until 10AM so I arrived then to return. I was charges $30 because their opening time was one hour past expected return time of 9AM. I will challenge credit card charge for this $30. Not my fault.

Gillian H.Truck was not cleaned prior to my pickup. Mud on driver and passenger floor boards was present, and bug splatter all over front windshield, both items I had to clean prior to my road trip. Two easy (end expected) items that should have been taken care of before renting to next customer.

Alisa M.The places themselves were fine. It's U-Haul in general that sucks! What's the point of making a reservation if the day before your going to call and say you don't have the truck I reserved? Then tell me to go somewhere else for the truck, just for that place not to be open at the time you needed the truck!! Then when you call customer service you have to wait an hour on hold for someone to answer just to tell you, you have to call a different department!!! Most likely the last time I ever try to rent a U-Haul.

John H.Good experience in this location, friendly helpful staff. Nothing negative about this location. Not sure if this is where I write this but I am. My overall uhaul experience was not necessarily good. Made a reservation at the East Ridge location on line only to show up and not have one. Apparently it was given to someone else at a Rochester city location. My reservation number but all personnel info was changed and it was given to someone else. After speaking with Jaimie, she found all my info to confirm I had a reservation originally. She was able to thankfully find me another somewhat close to home.
Johanna P.It was a 24-hour self-drop location. It was well lit and felt safe. Spoke with a staff member the next morning, very nice and confirmed the truck was all set.

PATRICKDONALD K.I couldn't find out where to drop my uhaul key. So I ended up leaving it in the company's drop box after wandering around the location in the freezing cold going to two other offices trying to find the drop box.

Thomas S.Uhaul should be equipped with ezpass in every car and customer billed. Also be sure to inform customer how to travel on Nys thruway without pass and expect bill. I had to call in after I picked up vehicle.
BRIDGETMARY B.The truck actually was ok but it was old and wasn't completely cleaned out. Empty cups and stuff rolling around behind the seat. Staff was very friendly and helpful and truck was ready for us when we got there a couple of hours early.

JAMESA C.I made my reservation for July 31 and when I arrived, the place was shut down with a notice on the door that they were closed until August 2. I was then on hold with the 800 U-Haul number for well over half an hour before somebody picked up and supposedly transferred me to reservations at which time I was placed in the on hold queue again. If it hadn't been for a God-sent U-Haul service truck driving down the road, I would've been completely screwed on moving day. He was able to cut a key and get me in the truck within 10 minutes. I am deeply grateful to that man, but I will never recommend anyone go to the U-Haul service at the location in East Rochester.
