Amy LDO NOT RETURN A U-HAUL HERE!!! Just like the prior review stated they tried to shake me down for almost $900 in bogus "dents" for my rental. U-Haul even said there was no damages…so I'm reporting this scam to the NYS attorney general and the local media to expose them. Luckily I never paid the $900 bill they sent me! Don't use them unless you want to be taken advantage of!
Jeffrey AThere's nothing really wrong with this location. The problem is that the reservation was originally for Victor Rt 96. Their 10' truck had an issue, so they rescheduled me for the 130 Despatch East Rochester location. Unfortunately, when the reservation was changed, something didn't go through, so I was never sent an email to checkin for the 130 Despatch location. That meant that when I arrived at the 130 Despatch location, the "find truck" option wasn't available in the uhaul app. It took over 45 min on the phone to determine why I couldn't find the truck I'd rented. It's a relatively industrial area in the middle of nowhere. I don't appreciate having to hang out there with my wife and 3 yr-old son. This isn't rocket science. It shouldn't be that difficult.
Curtis SI replied yes to all, but I dropped off after hours, so no real experience. You may want to add a "not applicable" option for cases like mine.
Bryon VStop trying to scam your customers. The damage your claiming I did was all old damage. Corrosion on scratches happens over time. If those scratches and dents were done by me they would look fresh. Shiny. Free of corrosion. Very unlikely a Class A Driver would damage 4 different spots to a rental with a spotless accident free record. I'm insulted by this experience.
Mitchell MWorker "turned off" mobile pick up. This was frustrating as it was selected so we could pick up quickly. Then had to wait in line in store.

JOSEPH SThe app wouldn't recognize my location even after making sure it was on. Thankfully I had another person with me to login on their phone. Even after that I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for some ridiculous verification process because I have a temporary ID after including it with my expired picture. 45 minutes in the parking lot before getting the authorization to access the lock.

Bernard CPickup was easy and so was drop off. Manager was quick and was ready for me when I arrived for pickup. Window handle on driver's side was broken so hard to open window. Otherwise truck was clean in cab and loading area. Not much parking available to leave my vehicle.

Brian CThe staff at Fairport Auto Services LLC were very friendly and helpful with my rental. Unfortunately UHaul corporate was not as helpful which was very disappointing. I did not receive the call two days ahead of my rental confirming the rental and where the pickup would be. I had to call to get the confirmation and then learned where to pickup the rental.

Patrick BThe vehicle was clean for the most part so I marked yes, but there was a mint colored dental floss pick in the driver side door that was not mine. When I picked up the vehicle before the business hours, the directions shared did not match what was at that location and the lock where the key was kept, took forever to open, so much that I left the location an hour into my booked window. It caused me to rush that day to return the vehicle on time.

Edward KThey were closed by 3pm on a Friday which seemed early to stop drop offs. Also the auto texts were asking me to return the vehicle as soon as possible because other families needed it, which was frustrating because the truck was late to us and we actually returned it almost two days early.
Chad CThe back rollup door was incredibly difficult to lift up and pull down such that you had to try to slam it to get it close enough to lock actually straining my chest on the final time after doing it five times it never loosened up needs oil or something Truck is 13 years old
Michael CMy rental was fine. The people that I dealt with were friendly. My biggest issue I have is that I was 30 minutes late for my return, and was told that's ok. I assumed that meant I wouldn't be charged for the extra 30 minutes. they had told me the next rental for the equipment I rented wasn't until later in the day, so no one was inconvenienced. I got home and pulled up my email with my receipt and saw I was charged for an extra full 24 hour rental. #1, no one told me I was going to be charged more than the 1 day(24 hour) rental #2, Had I been told that, I would have kept the rental for that 2nd full day I was charged. #3, I did respond to the email link provided with my receipt, if there were any issues, and have not heard back with any response over my complaint. So here is my suggestion for future renters. Make sure you get clarification on your total bill before you pay and walk away. .
Chris FFirst truck (self serve pickup) had no key and I had to get customer service involved. Second truck had check engine light and was filthy. Took me an hour to do the pickup.
Kiley Syou asked me to fold the blankets i used and i did. i was under a time crunch and could not wait for a cleaner uhaul. the one you gave me was oily in the back. i worked around it. then i get charged 125 for someone else's mess. I transported nothing that had gasoline or oil in it. i transported furniture and clothes. i am dissatisfied with this place.

Jim KDropped off truck after hours. My app to return truck did not complete process. I remembered from video to take pictures of gas and mileage. But app didnt go thru entirety about what picture to take or even to download photos. After trying to complete truck return several times on app. App stated completed and I would receive a call. Now I have a damage bill for truck. The pictures that showed damage do not show entire truck. Only a small section showing 2 points of damage. There was no damage when we dropped off truck and now i have $150 charge for deductible from insurance I took on rental. This is ridiculous!!

Steven DI picked up the U-Haul. The manager brought out five moving blankets and tossed them into the back of the U-Haul. When he opened the back door, the back was covered in clods of dried mud. He did not offer to sweep it out before I took it. When I climbed into the front cab, the floors were covered in dirt and grime, berries, and the dash was covered in either dirt or dust that had accumulated over a long period of time. I had to clean out the back of the U-Haul before I could load all my new furniture. If it wasn't for needing to get on the road and start my moving day, I almost didn't want to get in the front of the truck… It was that dirty.

Ken TNot sure if it is UHaul Corporate or this location policy, but the Safe Move was put on my contract without my knowledge. It started from the request for a rental (by phone). It was added without asking a question or confirming that I want it. I noticed that it was on my contract when I first received the email link about the contract and I removed it from the services online. However, now that I have a the receipt for the move, I see that it somehow was added back into the agreement. I should have asked when I picked up the vehicle to make sure, but I assumed that since I removed it online it would not be there. In truth, either UHaul or the location should ask if I want this before adding it. When I was told the estimated price, I did not pick up that this $15 was added, as the total for the vehicle and miles was close to the total in my mind.
