The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. The process was very smooth, and quick.Charlotte H.
Its really hard to give a final â€œgrade.â€ We rented a uhaul, but it had broken leaf spring. We could see where it had already been repaired in the past. The tire had previously rubbed a hole through the wheel well. Anyway, we had a 16 hr round trip planned for the trailer, full of high-end long range rifles and equipment for a hunting trip. So, waiting for a mechanic to fix it on a weekend was pointless. Besides, 8 hours later the mechanic never did call. We paid for another uhaul ($330) hours into the trip. No offer to offset the charges at this point. The 8x12 was too heavy but thats all they had close to the 4x8. A few more hours into the trip we rented a 3rd uhaul, which was a 4 or 5x8 again. This place was HUGE that worked like a well oiled machine. Dont get me wrong, the place where we originally got the uhaul was efficient and qick too. Lets just see how the money all washes out after we spent $150 + $330.James G.

The only complaint I have is that the location was an hour and 20 minutes away. U-Haul should honor reservations made at specific locations by having drivers deliver trucks if necessary.Diana L.

Tell people that there is the mobile check out message coming. I was busy getting moved and didn't look at my phone until I dropped the keys off, thus, I didn't see the message that needed to be done first. Ended up costing me an extra 20$. Not cool.Ann E.

Limit the amount a person has to travel to pick up equipment. I drove 90 miles to pick up the box truck and the car hauler. When I turned the vehicle in they charged me for 60 extra miles because I was over the mile limitation of the contract. I also had to drive 35 mi to return the vehicle and car trailer when there was a U-Haul location within 2 miles of my ultimate destination. I also turn the truck in one day early but did not receive a credit as I paid for 8 days it took me seven. I think that is pathetic that I am charged to go over the miles but yet I do not get a credit for an extra day. You may think about putting cruise control on your vehicles as it is very risky to drive 1800 miles with no cruise control.Troy L.

I rented a 6x12 covered trailer and the door would not close. The cable for the door had wrapped around the track and we couldn't get it off. When we called they had said to call roadside assistance and I said that wouldn't help. The lady said she'd call the branch manager and the manager said he was out the day before and it was fine and there wasn't anything they could do. We had to strap our stuff in. It was terrible. We called to say we would be dropping it off and they were working on a reimbursement. I will not rent here again.Tricia D.

Online check-in process did not go smoothly and hung up. Was a long wait. We went inside and the kind person at the location assisted us with getting the rental checked out. Even she had to call customer support because the system wouldn't proceed with our reservation for some reason. The local person was very helpful. Ramp was very dirty. Lots of residue dirt and mud from previous renter. Had to be cleaned off before I could use it. Store personnel were very friendly and helpful in the process.James W K.

I don't know what happened but I returned the trailer on time and then the next day I got a call and email from Uhaul saying the trailer hadn't been returned on time when in fact it had been returned 24 hours earlier. I called True Value and asked if it was ok to drop the trailer and not have to enter the building? Gail said it was ok. I did just that and called to let them know it was there. No one picked up the phone so I left a message. Then I get a call that the trailer hadn't been returned. UMM? Yes it had and I left them a message. I think something might be wrong with the communication between Uhaul rental locations and Uhaul itself. Either this is a business that doesn't check its voicemail or no one physically went outside to check. Ends up being a waste of everyone's time.Trace T.

Had to drive an extra 30 min to pick up the Truck. Gas gauge was different from actual amount. Worst vehicle I've ever driven. Door would not close and rattled the entire 1100 miles. GMC truck. The Ford was clean and drove fine.Bruce W.
