Was asked at pickup location if I would prefer to drop unit at Fairfield I said “yes if no additional charges” was told that there would NOT be additional charges! Was never given any form of written contract or asked to sign one, then when questioning as to why charges where so high was informed that $88 was added because of a one way trip, when attempting to resolve this was given a complete run around. UHall ??????????????????????????????

Check out took a long time, no one to help hook up trailer or unhook at check in. Had to have someone called twice to get help at the counter for check in. All in all this was not a good experience and I have rented at other locations and not had problems. We are going to need another trailer for the first weekend in August and not sure I want to do this again at this location or find a private trailer to rent.

Truck was on empty even though listed as 1/8 tank and crack in windshield passenger side but I purchased insurance sad this truck wasn’t looked over Also blankets and boxe in back which I didn’t order return all and put 1/4 of gas in it at turn in side in Coralville IA

I was told if I only kept the trick for 2 days instead of 4. I would only be charged for 2 days. When I got to Colorado and took the truck they said i would be charged for 4 days.

They aren't knowledgeable but they are the only one in town. The truck ramp broke and I spent an hour an a alf fixing it and they offered no compensation I was also charged for more fuel than I thought was reasonable

The transmission of the truck was not in good order. It struggled to get out of first gear every time I accelerated. On top of that the battery died twice, which ended up wasting a lot of my time trying to find people to jump it. Ended up having to leave it running so that the battery wouldn’t die. Giving two stars instead of one because in the end it did get the job done. I explain the situation to true value, but they did not offer a discount.

The customer services at this location was sub-par, they are not helpful or friendly at all. When reserving, picking up the truck and dropping it off the interactions with them took about 20-30 minutes every time, which cut into the time I had reserved the truck for and the time I had left over afterward to take care of anything else with the move. The driver's side door handle was also broken and wouldn't open the door, so I had to get in and out of the passenger's door every time. There was a twix bar wrapper sitting in the cab of the truck when we got in, it obviously hadn't been cleaned.

They tried to charge us an extra day, even though the contract lady on the phone reservation said we sould not have to pay. In the end, the check in guy let it go.

Problem with driver door, but they let me know ahead of time, so it was fine. Had a 15 ft truck with pretty small load, and was surprised/disappointed it took 28 gallons of gas to cover 270 miles. I didn't even run the AC. Will know next time to find someone with a truck to pull a trailer behind.

Mobile check in when dropping off was very long and cumbersome. Make sure the person renting knows what to do when they return the vehicle after hours.

did not explain anything about rental equipment, when I have mentioned that this was my 1st time renter; the fuel tank must be fully filled otherwise a customer will be charges at higher rate

This location was not the location that I originally reserved. The day before I was scheduled to pick up, I received a call that the truck was in Fairfield - one hour away from my actual location. So I had to spend 2 hours just picking this thing up. I received no reimbursement for the waste of my time, mileage and gas on my personal car, or the inconvienece to the individual who volunteered to help me. I will not use u-haul again after this.

Was charged for things I didnt get. They changed my reservation time twice before they finally gave me a time to pick up the uhaul. Was charged in extra miles because I had to drop it off from where I picked it up and wasnt allowed to drop it off at my final destination because I was told it was their personal truck and I should be allowed to drop it off at any uhaul.

Was supposed to wait for personel to drop off my trailer but didn't have the time because I had to travel back to where I came from.. I dropped it and called later and they had no problem processing/finishing everything. Very friendly, totally the opposite of my pick-up.

The ramp on a 26ft truck should be twice as long as the current ones. I find it puzzling that there are longer ramps on the short trucks.

Gas was just a tad low and we got charged $16 plus we got it back 1 day ahead of time but no refund. Think uhaul should compensate something... even a small refund would be better than nothing.

I drove approximately 41 miles, rented for 24 hours, and didn't haul anything. I thought the price was astronomical considering the advertising as low as $19.95.

There was little bit of dust in the cargo area (I'm not exaggerating), the attendant referred to the drop off as trashed. When I object, he became very belligerent and aggressive. He said I had to clean it or he would charge me $125 for a trashed trailer. What a total jerk!!

The representative argued with me about having to wash the OUTSIDE of the truck even though there was nothing in the paperwork about this. There was nothing on the truck other than what would be there from regular driving on highways. I left the inside very clean. He indicated that I had to pay $35 more because they had to wash the outside of the truck. I refused and referred to the contract and that he could not charge me. The store was mostly in order, but there were dogs in the store who had pooped on the floor in the UHaul rental area.

Hard to get rental people on the phone. The uhaul truck worked well with ramp, nice to have 6 blankets included. The cargo area was clean and in good condition.

I found out about a cleaning fee ($35) that would have been applied after I showed up to return the truck and dolly. Fortunately I took the truck across the street to a carwash and took care of the dust on it. I rent things so I don't have to maintain them. I expect that my charge will include all of that. I don't clean a rental car before returning it. annoyed.

24 Drop off was convenient since the inability to get the trailer on time and at a local location pushed my timeline back by over 6 hours. That reminds me, I need to check to see if I was credited the 50 dollars for U-Haul not fulfilling the reservation as promised.
