Train rental agents thoroughly. I have rented trucks there many times and only once did the rental agent truly know how to completely handle the transaction without delay and not need help from co-workers.Teresa B.

The truck cab had a terrible, nasty â€œwet dog-likeâ€ smell, we had to drive with windows downâ€¦it was that bad! The 24/7 check-in process took at least 15 min. to get the lock box code after I submitted everything they asked. I didn't get ANY of the extras that I ordered online the week prior! No furniture dollies, blankets or an extra dollie. I didn't know that I wasn't getting them until I picked it up the morning of the move and they weren't in the truck!! (This was all before the store opened!) So now what am I supposed to do!?!?! You shouldn't ask if people need these extras if you can't deliver!! Or if you can't deliver, let me know when I MAKE the reservation, so I can make other arrangements, not let me find out when I pick the truck up!!Kyle G.

My trailer was in terrible shape, but I don't blame the location. I took a similar trailer from them the day before and it was great. This trailer I got today, however, made terrible sounds like it's going to collapse. I returned it very early and called U-Haul for a refund. U-Haul said to speak with the location, but the location said only U-Haul can help with that. In the meantime, I paid for the trailer and for insurance, and not only I wasn't able to use those but also I missed the delivery I was supposed to make.TAL R.

The location did not have the furniture mover available and do believe the charge for it was removed from my fee. I later went to the drop off location and paid 7.50 to rent one there . The truck I had needs suspension work, I have rented a like size truck from Ryder that rode 20x better than this one. Glad it was a short trip.ROBERT J.

My reservation was for 4pm. I arrived about 12 minutes late. The person staffing the rental desk had left at 4 and told no one he had a rental at 4. No one else knew anything about renting a Uhaul there and they all looked at me blankly, for a long time. Eventually someone was walked through the process -- wasting a lot of my time. This has happened before at this location. DO NOT RENT HERE.KARIN M.

I was scheduled to pick up truck at 8AM. No one showed up to help me until 9AM. I had a whole moving crew waiting. (The day before, I went to see if I could pre-register to save time. They said no problem to show up at 8AM as it won't take long. One other thing. I did try to pre-register online. My mistake - I loaded an old version of driver's licence online. In any case (I don't know if your system scans.) In any case, I tried twice and got no acknowledgment whether entry was successful.Hal G.

I was not able to get the truck until an hour after I initially wanted it due to the previous customer returning it after hours but the staff was quick to get the truck inspected and ready.Brandi S.
I dont interact with the staff at this location. Bunch of dicks, but I don't have a choice since I don't want to drive an extra 40 miles so I drop off after they close so as not to interact with the assholes.David F.

Your reservation system is awful. After making a reservation 3 weeks in advance of pick up, I received a confirmation stating the selected equipment, times and locations. I then received a phone call 2 DAYS before the move that this equipment was "not available" at my location. When I questioned this, I was rudely informed that my email confirmation was only confirming my "request", not my contract. I had to drive 115 miles round trip from my location to secure the desired equipment which altered our moving day plans significantly. Making a reservation means NOTHING. How is one supposed to plan when you have no idea if the "requested" equipment will actually be available? Shouldn't it be the responsibility of U-Haul personnel have gotten the available truck to my desired pick up location? No way to run a service industry!!!Craig A.

I was promised a $50 refund for the inconvenience of not having a truck at my requested location and having to pick the truck up 30 miles away. And I've yet to see that refund.Anthony D.

I have had two experiences with this location in the process of this move over the past 3 weeks. The first time, I waited a very long time for someone to help me, only to be told that they had already unhooked the trailer and I didn't need to stick around (not sure how long I waited after that was done, but no one told me it had been handled until I asked for the 4th or 5th time. The TruValue store is unorganized, the primary rep for UHaul at the store was wearing her mask around her chin and had a bad attitude. I spent a lot of time there unnecessarily and left frustrated. On the second drop off at this location (March 22), I figured out how to unhook the trailer myself and left it after hours to avoid the frustration of dealing with them.sheryl G.

Uhaul's insistence on using a mobile app to verify the return of a rental truck was extremely annoying. It was dark, freezing cold and Uhaul's genius idea was to take their verifying survey in the middle of a blizzard! My phone was dead because there was no way of charging it in the truck and the threat of a $20 added fee just because I couldn't follow some idiotic protocol was unreasonable and very irritating! Will likely consider any competition in the future.GARNET S.

Did not have the truck size I wanted (broken trucks on the lot, giving the appearance of having more available than what there was), so I had to go one size larger. The person who checked me out clearly did not want to be at work/helping customers. Terse and not very friendly bordering on unpleasant.Robert A.

Lady that checked me out was not friendly at all, boarder line rude. The truck windshield was covered with bugs. The truck had an odor inside. Was not pleased at all. Also left a quarter of a tank more in it, I texted about that with no reply from U-Haul. But yet I was charged more for mileage overage, least that's what I think it was for. I will travel further to get equipment from U-Haul if there is a next timeRita B.

The counter person mumbled, started conversations with two other people while processing my order, was vague in her responses. Started walking away from me, leaving me standing at the counter. I called, "Hey am I supposed to follow you?" To which she nodded. She could use some instruction in customer service - look them in them eye, speak clearly, tell them what you are going to do, say please follow me, and thank you for doing business with us.Monica M.

Windows of cab were left cracked, it rained inside. The seats were wet. There were multiple two wheel carts and many blankets left in the back. The customer service rep was rude, did not greet us, did not explain anything about the contract, the gas tank, or the functions of the vehicle. Very disappointed.Stephanie H.

No one listened to the rental requests. We received numerous phone calls the day of picking up the rental and day of returning. We requested to pickUp mid morning and would drop off the following day prior to close. When we returned the truck, no one was around to assist with the return.
