CHRIS LThe truck engine would not run properly and no wiper fluid either. I had to replace the engine air filter and filll the washer fluid tank as it barely made it to the next gas station. I called the u-haul dealer and he said they don’t service them. The air filter was covered in mud no wonder it couldn’t run properly!! So I had to go get parts ($50) myself and install it. ZERO STARS 👎🏻
josh sbad experience , I was charged for a dolly cart and blankets that never were put in the truck, and finally my last bill went from $47 to almost $100 dollars for no reason
ISSAC DActually have the trucks available that was booked. Not so much of a run around! Things were changing daily, very stressful! Could not return truck to same place I rented it from, had to go three blocks away, what bullshit is that??? Finally found out I could return in Devon, but had to drive to Spruce Grove to get my vehicle. Poor and frustrating experience.

Kevin DDropped keys off in the marked drop box as instructed, was woken up (before 9am) by a call accusing me of not dropping off the keys. The guy on the phone proceeded to INSIST I didn't leave the keys, and then he started yelling at me about how the truck was parked. Despite me saying I didn't have the keys, the guy continued yelling at me, insisting I come move the truck..... Had to call Uhaul about this and they never even got back to me with a resolution. 0/10 would not recommend.

Marjorie FThe gentleman who helped me at this location was so friendly and knowledgeable. So smart to have the location at a gas station, really convenient to refuel before and after. Only comment I would have for improvement would be to start off with full tank of gas, then there is no guess work for how much to refuel. I would recommend this location, I have heard of friends having a bad experience with their truck not being available or it taking a long time for processing and payment. I honestly could not be more grateful for how patient and helpful he was, he made my moving experience better and I am very thankful. :)
Jessica TUhaul as a company is a sleezy fucking company they threatened us because we needed to extend our rental and when I returned it they charged me an extra $150. This isnt the first time they have done this either. Get your shit together uhaul its disgusting what your doing to families for an extra buck. This specific location the staff was amazing and so helpful the actual company not so much.

DAVID FBetter explanation/communication prior to drop off before cut off. I dropped my keys in the box not realizing needed to capture the mileage and all that. So I got charged extra for late delivery when I was an hour early before drop off. I'd like my "late fee" to be refunded. Thanks.
Jenna DBooked reservation online for 15 minutes prior to closing. Employee stated that she "out to hit you" when I arrived for my reservation stating she would have had her computer off by then. Other abusive words were said and I tried to remain very sweet and calm as she quickly bounced between being abusive and horrible to a decent person. Truck was dirty. Had a random shoe inside the storage area in the back in the mom's attic section. U-Haul never disclosed the $25 cleaning fee before booking. Will not be returning to U-Haul again.

Mike YThe truck came to us basically on empty, I think it would be easier if the truck came to us on full, then we have a better idea of how much fuel we actually used. The check in process didnt really go through on the phone, and the lady at the counter when I went to ask for help was great in helping me, but the process was confusing and we were made to sit for another half hour, though they didnt charge us for an extra hour which definitely helped. We should of checked the back to make sure the dollies were there but we were already in a rush, got back to our house to begin moving and they werent inside, so we had to drive back to the locsation grab the dollies, and again the lady was super accomodating and apologetic and she didnt charge us for an extra dollie. The outside of the truck was super dirty (which I understand its winter) but just a nice rinse off beforehand would of made a bit of a difference. But then dropping off the process was smooth and they made sure everything was fine in the end. Not a horrible experience just expected a little more flow.

Ann LThe fuel cap was broken and had a difficult time paying on line at service counter ( real human vs Machine) x 3 that didn't accept the back of Drivers Licence while in store? Truck was from the States and ran smoothly. Drop off at Dawson Creek did not have clear signage to deposit keys and took 20 minutes walking around the building in dark , Snow, and High Winds and also was not told to fill out the on line return when returning on my own a day early with more fuel than I started with.. Need more attention to pick up and drop off detail please and did not do a walk around with staff

Mike HI had the worst experience to rent a truck. From the start of rental process to the time of getting truck keys it took 1 hour and 15 min. Uhaul had so many problems with their software.. I had movers waiting all that time.. For that kind of price I paid for rent it is in unacceptable and I am looking for 50% discount.. I might do a website review accordingly if necessary.. Thank you .

The guy didn’t show up to work so I had to sit and wait for over an hour while I had moved hired and was moving provinces.( the location didn’t offer mobile pick up) then they still made me have the uhaul back at the original time not the new time that I actually got to pick up the uhaul because the worker didn’t show up to open the shop. (4 other were also waiting ) they also called me multiple times asking why I wasn’t returning the uhaul when I already paid for the extra days that were even listed on my contact. Lastly when I called to complain she said to bad pick up a different uhaul on a different day knowing I hired movers and was moving provinces. She was extremely rude and didn’t even offer an apology. We’re relocating in a year and we will definitely not be repeat customers as the service was some of the most unprofessional I’ve received from all departments I dealt with.
Bradley GOur truck was cancelled the day before we had to move. We had to drive out to another town to get a truck (which costed more as we used more miles). Then, when we went to pick up the truck at 8am no one was there! The person opening slept in and the owner had to come open it up at 8:50, which delayed our move. Overall it was a very stressful and disappointing experience.

Shaktisinh ZHello, my rental was booked for Sunday at Fas Gas in Spruce Grove. I was supposed to pick it up at 9 AM. At 8:30 the location phoned me and told me to come and pick it up now. I told him that I was busy at the moment but would get there close to nine. He said to come in now because he is normally closed Sunday’s and only went to his store because of the U-Haul rental. So he said come early. It is not the customers concern whether somebody has opened their store just for them. And asking somebody to come early when I was busy with the move was rude. When I went into the store he also said again, “I came in just for you.” And, he said it a third time as I was leaving. If a store does not Want to do a business where people can book a service seven days a week they should not be in that business. And they certainly shouldn’t keep trying to make a customer feel guilty. Or expect effusive thank you’s and gratitude for providing the service they were paid to provide. I always treat any customer service or retail personnel with respect. I do not complain. But this was highly irritating and unnecessary.

MARTIN JWe rented haul truck for the day for 12 hours. We took the truck back to its location in spruce grove at 7 pm and office was closed. Sign said to call 1-800 number to report return of truck and place keys in a box at site. We sat in parking lot on phone for almost an hour waiting in a queue to report we returned the truck and keys. Very irritating when busy moving. Has to do better

The only thing she didn’t do was ask me if I needed the coverage as I had declined it when I made the reservation online, but she added it anyway without my consent. Upon returning my rental I got in right around the same time I had picked up the vehicle and about 41 minutes later I got my receipt via email with an extra day added as the return had been processed 41 minutes later. The truck was 19.99 per day and I kept the vehicle for 2 days with 23kms but my credit card was charged for just over $120. I don’t know if I should get upset or just LOL about it.
Webster MWe got a quote, then changed the size of the truck. We confirmed pick up at spruce grove gas gas and the quote - all in - was $144. For a 15’ to be dropped of at Fort Saskatchewan Alberta. 72 km. The day we picked up the truck at 5:00pm the service person took a long time to fill out our agreement, she confirmed the trip was Spruce Grove to Fort Saskatchewan. The contract indicated we were return it to Fort Sask, with 1/4 tank of gas within 24 hrs. Once we got home and looked at the contract the price was $166. And return time was now 4:00 pm. We began loading at 5:30 pm that evening. We received a text at 7:30 pm saying our drop off point was Gibbons. That’s 13 miles north of Fort Saskatchewan. We called customer service and a fellow there told us that if we dropped the truck off at our destination Fort Saskatchewan that we’d have to pay towing charges. He refused to change the drop off location. No extra gas was offered while a vehicle had to be dispatched to pick up the driver. We paid 3 men $15 each per hour which was an extra hour $45. That had to be driven first to gibbons then to spruce grove. 10 of those extra 13 miles was road construction from fort Saskatchewan to gibbons We should be compensated for our inconvenience and the extra money we had to pay out.

Katrina GA temporary driver’s license with government issued passport should be sufficient evidence of identity and privilege to drive. Your system is too rigid in this regard. Either be more explicit at the time of reservation or be more flexible at the critical time the truck is needed. Finding out at the time the truck is being pick up that my ID is not sufficient added unnecessary complications to an already stressful day.
