After having to change my pickup location when the first one decided they'll go to the bank at the time I was scheduled for pickup, I get here and they don't have the equipment I needed. One of the employees/owner didn't seem to care much because they were doing no contact, though she was outside selling clothes with all type of people walking up. I ended up with the wrong Key to the truck I was assigned over the phone, so I had to go around and find which truck it worked for, It was completely out of gas. Thankfully the gas station was across the street! I was charged for the extra equipment even after I told the customer service rep that this site didn't have it. When I got there to return, no one was there and I couldn't return it through my account because it was registered to the assigned vehicle. Leaving me with it over the initial time. I left the truck nearly with a full tank of gas though I got it on "E". I've used Uhaul in the past and never have I had the problems I had in Saraland Al. I'll never use any of them again!!

Just gonna copy and paste my review that I’m leaving on social media: If you plan on moving anytime soon, let me save you a ton of headache. DO NOT use U-Haul! It’s literally run/operated by a bunch of crooks who will lie or do whatever’s necessary to steal an extra bit of money from you! I had no other choice but to use them twice recently to move to Saraland and had issues both times. From lying about mileage reimbursement on the phone (2 different locations told me I would which was false) to trying to charge me an extra day plus insurance over a 1/8th of a tank fuel discrepancy when I turned the truck back in a day early. Sorry about the rant but I’ve never dealt with a company before that still tries to charge you and charge you extra when they make mistakes. Hopefully this will save someone else some time, money and peace of mind.

Uhaul scheduled me for 425 Hwy 43. No one was available to provide me a truck. Their doors were locked. Uhaul then scheduled me for EZN Storage, my original, preferred location. EZN did a great job getting me in the road. The other location? Close it. If I could provide a negative rating I would. They cost me over an hour's delay

A customer access gate for after hours returns of equipment. Just an Idea to have a special code that changes after a one time use so there isn't any unauthorized access. Just an Idea to help with avoiding unnecessary late charges.

you guys charged me for two days and I only had it one. Returned the key at 11:23 on Sunday.

Truck was dirty in rear also performed poorly while driving down the rd unit kept sputtering

The truck itself was clean, but the trailer portion had plenty of trash that I had to sweep up before using it when we got to my apartment. I'd upload the picture of all that I swept up if I could. Doesnt make sense to charge x amount in this case $25 if it's not clean after you use it if it wasn't clean to begin with. Service was excellent and the girl that helped us was friendly. The parking of the two trucks when we got back were parked taking up a lot of space so that required us to park in front of another truck. Overall very pleased though with the service.

The people here were nice enough but kept having me call U-haul customer service about the gas issue. CS kept saying that the manager could waive the added fee but the manager kept insisting that I call back again and again. I spent the last $40 I had putting MORE gas into the truck and it was only slightly below a half tank. Considering I picked up the vehicle at near empty and the attendant never went through the vehicle with me, I was fed up with the whole experience. I will never use U-haul again unless the added fee is refunded.

Waited around for someone to come speak to us about dropping off the trailer for over 20 minutes. Was told someone would be right there, didn’t get help till I had to walk outside and get someone to notice me. Awful customer service. Will not be recommending or returning to this location. Just to drop off a trailer it took over 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

They could use more utility trailers at this site. Vonda at the pick-up location was instrumental for getting things right for me; that woman is a god-send. UHaul online chat and phone-based reservation assistance and customer service were COMPLETELY TERRIBLE throughout this entire move. My move back in August was also rockier than any in the past; I'm beginning to question the quality of service I used to count on from UHaul as a company.

Cost to much because of the charges for mileage. Mileage should be free since you have to put gas in it.

Instead of calling and verifying when we dropped it off, the lady ASSUMED we kept it 2 extra days and charged my wife's account. Three days later, we are still waiting for it to be credited back.

The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. However, no was was available to help unhook the trailer from my vehicle. I had to unhook and lift the trailer myself. I could easily see someone getting injured if they were not physically able to lift the trailer tongue

ended up not using would love to get a refund. Place of business was great we had a car stored there and was renting car dolly from them ended up not being able to use so it doesn't apply

I have used this location for many times for their automotive detail service and we loved it. Nothing was different and their customer service with the U-Hauls saying friendly family service. Local people that treat you with respect and courtesy also love their dog Pnut
