Not tell me I have to return the truck at a location 6 miles away and then when I get to that location it tells me I have to return it at the original store. Then I get charged for the extra miles and the return check in? I've rented a truck many many times over the years. This is by far the most disappointing experience I've had.

Unclear about parking and exiting. When asking for clarification about parking, Veronica was short and rude. She told me they would hold my car over night if I didn’t make it by 5:30 pm. After talking to Pam she was more understanding and also more informative about that I was still able to get my car. I will not be coming to this location again.

You charged my card the optional insurance for $10.00 which I totally did not request and would not have requested as I trust my local driving.

I asked the lady who helped me I didn’t want insurance because I was going to rent this vehicle for less than a couple of hours. Anyways there is a charge on this contract for insurance. I asked her And she said it would go back to my card is that so?

Very impressed with the truck I rented and with the staff who rented it to me. The truck was comfortable, easy to drive and reasonably priced. I would rent again from that facility. No negatives to speak of.

My U-Haul equipment was in fine condition. The truck is clean and the air-conditioning work well. The reason for my poor score is the employee that was at this facility. I believe her name is either Michelle or Pam. She was the rudest person I’ve ever interacted with. This location did not offer parking for U-Haul customers, she basically told me to take my business elsewhere when I asked to park. She was awful. When I agreed that I would go find parking elsewhere and then walk back, she said “are you sure you don’t want to go somewhere else” When I came to return the van, I parked in front and brought my Equipment in. She looked at me and pointed to a compact spot next to someone unloading their car and said “go tell them to move there boxes and park it there” I told her that spot was too tight for the nine foot van and I would prefer to park it somewhere else. She grabbed the keys and said we will email you your bill, without doing a walk through or finalizing a total. This woman was terrible, I could feel her animosity. I will never rent from this location again, she needs to be reprimanded.

There was a little confusion with someone who seemed new at the rental part, and then on return there was some reaction to a blanket that came with the truck which I didn't understand. The pick-up needed oil, which was indicated the second I turned it on. As I did a total of 9 miles, it wasn't a problem, but everyone was very nice and it was a fairly easy process.

Guy I dealt w at counter was nice but the lady earlier was a little short w us. We tried to explain our email said 10am but she said not open till 10:30. I sat for half hour then told truck had NO fuel. No kidding ! Was afraid wouldn’t get to gas station which was another waste of time. Wasn’t sure how much gas needed so put 10 gal which was over $30 and I took it back over quarter tank so didn’t use $10 worth or so. No way to recoup my $20? They better not charge me for not sweeping out the box cause was dirty when picked up! Other than that, it was fine??

my reservation was done for a different location in Downton L.A., I don't understand why when I called this location luckily they had a truck available and I was able to get done the task I needed the truck for.

Van was dirty from prior customer... but it ran great. There isn't very clear/visible instructions or drop off signs at this location....but we figured it out.

Lack-of-signage makes the exit situation very unclear, especially for newcomers to the facility (as I was). First thing you may do (as I did) is get into a big unfamiliar vehicle, unpark, trundle your way a hundred yards down a corridor between storage units — only to discover a tight cul-de-sac at the end, where you thought an exit would be. Because there's no room to turn around, you then drive your big unfamiliar vehicle a hundred yards back *in reverse*, delicately spin around in front of the office, and leave the other way. I noticed arrows painted on the pavement as I was leaving; these are not visible as you're backing your vehicle out of the allotted parking area, and if for any reason you were merely dropped off out in front of the U-Haul office — which I'm pretty sure has been my *universal* experience *whenever* renting a U-Haul truck to, y'know, *drive myself away* in — you wouldn't have spent a single second of your life paying any attention to the arrows painted on the roads inside the gate. You walked in, filled out some forms, got the keys, and climbed into the truck; you fix the mirrors, throw it in reverse, and drive. The facility does not expect this behavior — they expect people to be 1) regulars, who've 2) *driven* through the gate — so you're on your own as a U-Haul customer, in my experience. What'd be great is a big 'ol sign on the wall, right in front of the noses of the vans, that simply says "ONE WAY EXIT -->." Other than this confusion, everything else was great. Lovely employees.

Jacob helped us when we arrived to pick up our truck this weekend. He was so helpful and accommodating. 5 star service!

I just check my bank account and I saw that you guys charged me TWO times. One time $172.05 and other time $76.81. I didn't autorize the second value. When We signed the contract was ONLY 172.05. Nobody told us that would debit something more. Please I would like to ask for cancel the amount ($76.81). This is not right. The contract number is 20651843 and my phone number is 619-496-0004.

I have been a loyal U-Haul customer for many years. Must say this is by far the BEST experience I have had yet. From Chris calling me before to make sure the new location and time worked for me. To Jacob and Pam being total ROCK STARS in Customer service! Last few times it was in and it with no smiles or friendliness. This time was the opposite. They made our moving day feel grounded and supported. Best customer service I have had in a very long time from any company!. Thank you uHaul!

upon arrival when i signed the receipt i wasnt told about how much gas the car needs before returning it the front desk didnt go over anything with him and just made me sign the papers and hand me the key without looking at the car make sure there is no damages.. over all not a good experience.

It was the last pick up truck and I needed it on short notice, for a short period of time. The truck hadn't been washed, but that was fine; I was glad to get a truck. I left a pouch with my chemo-therapy and other medications on the passenger seat. Terrance at the location called me just after they opened and let me know they had my property. Andrew Byrnes
