My reservation was scheduled for 2:30pm. I arrived at 2:25 & there was a note stating they're at lunch & will return @ 3pm. I called spoke with Alexis who advised Uhaul has a guaranteed reservation policy, if not available at time of reservation you receive $50. I was then transferred another rep who was very rude & had no idea what I was talking about!!

This was a horrible facility. The customer service rep was very rude, I had learned of discrepancies between the regular customer service site and the location itself they were not here with me and the parking for the truck I had to to park 5 miles away and they charge me for the mileage on the truck the lady forgot to give me the key she wasn't honest about the pricing and I called the customer service line to file a complaint and then when I went to go drop the truck off I thought I told her I was upset with the service and she said my card would not be charged until a supervisor reached out to me five minutes after leaving the facility my card was charged and the dish that Manager was notified and he did not bother to talk to me about my side of the story so I had to file a complaint with the district manager

No parking? How the hell you pick up a truck and cant park within a mile nearby? Would be nice to know? And also they charged my credit card before i returned. I told them i wanted to pay cash and not charge my card. They charged my card and then gave some excuse that they dont take cash? Why would you leave these two very important details?????? Fail

This was not the fault of the staff: The truck leaked water from the rain, in two areas. One in the cab leaving a puddle on the floor of the driver's side. The other in the roof in the Mom's attic area, damaging a box of race shirts. I called Steve at corporate, who handled our reservations (3 vehicles), and gave him then information.

I needed to extend my rental for an additional day and Skyla, the UHaul rep that I got in contact with said that it would not be a problem and that it would be the same daily rate as before ($20). However, I got a call from an angry rep from the location I rented who was dismissive and rude to me about my rental because the Skyla had not gotten in touch with them. She said I would be charged an additional $50 “inconvenience fee” and that I would have to return the rental early the next morning. I had to get up early the next day and was late to work in order to get the truck back on time and avoid additional fees. I will not be using UHaul again as the service I received was unprofessional and embarrassing to be involved with.

I was charged for gas 20$ after I restored it to the gage rate it had when I received it. I was also charged 7$ for a dolly that I never needed or used. This is poor practice and I intend on reporting this to the BBB and writing a review. Do better!

Vehicle was so dirty we could barely see out the windshield, inside was equally dirty. Truck ran well and accommodations were good. If you don't make Nd a vehicle that hasn't been cleaned in a couple of months it's ok.

The person I dealt with, Keith, was excellent. Very kind, explained everything clearly, went out of his way to make rental pleasant. Wish there was more of a vehicle selection at this location. Vehicle was fine except it didn't handle well. Started shaking at above 35 mph or so. Otherwise fine.

The Uhaul phone line that answers when calling this location needs to understand they do not allow overnight drop-off of the truck. This has happened to me at other locations as well and overnight drop-off is a reason people choose your services. Thank you.

While booking the U Haul truck the site specified 24 hours drop. I specified more hours while booking but during pick up the representative said its until 6:30 pm and shortened my rent time. After a while I called the location, then they said closing time is 7:00pm. I arrived at the location at 7:04 PM no one was in the location. I called U-Haul customer care for drop in nearest location, they couldn't find one. I was charged extra day. Totally worthless service. Unnecessary waste of money for me.

The problem was not with this location, it was with the location on Lincoln Blvd near Pico. I reserved a UHaul and it was not there. They made me change locations and were very, very rude in doing so. Michael Riveria was borderline verbally abusive to my friend and I.

I have been to many locations throughout the years. This location was very easy to get through the process and it was quick. Too many other locations I typically have to wait awhile. They were professional and very helpful

I picked up the truck and was told the gas tank was full and had to return it the same way. So I drove it away thinking the gauge would go to full - it was at a little over 3/4, so I was lied to by UHaul here. At the same time a warning light came on that the left front tire needed air, so I had to put air in the tire myself to avoid a flat tire, or worse.

My agent was so great and helpful, her name is Debra, and I felt like she went above and beyond to help me out and be as gracious and good at customer service as she could be. It was not the original location which I had wanted, but after the experience, because of her, I would highly recommend it to others and use it again. thank you so much!

This location accepted our 1130AM 8 hour reservation, then informed us in person that they close at 6 and there is no overnight parking / drop off option. Additionally, their street and neighborhood don't allow overnight parking. Extremely frustrating this wasn't disclosed. Essentially unless you can abide by their exact operating hours (10am-6pm), you will have to find your own place to park the truck and return it the following day.

I had an entirely positive experience with this location until I got my final bill. The email they sent confirms I drove the Uhaul a total of 12.2 miles. I filled it up with about 3 gallons of gas before returning it, just in case. They billed me for 5.3 gallons of gas plus a service fee. If you do the math, the only way I could possibly have owed them is if I was getting 2.3 MPG. Not 23, 2.3, and this is ignoring the gas purchase I made 10 minutes before dropping it off. I've emailed them and gotten no response. I spent 30 minutes on hold with Uhaul Corporate to correct the issue, which apparently requires a manager to call them. We'll see if that happens. Pro Tip: With this location, be sure to use a credit card so you can dispute the transaction!

I had the worst user experience in my life at Uhaul!!! I reserved my truck reserved for 8:30am and I had movers to start my work at 9am. My truck pickup location was in "EZ Self Storage of Marina". I got there and the door is locked. No one is there and I couldn't access my truck. I tried getting my truck using the self service option and it was failing and offering me to call someone for my issue. I made the call and he told me that the storage unit opens at 10!!! I had to wait until 10 there to pickup my truck! Even though I had a truck reserved for 8:30. I had to pay $150 extra to my movers since they waited an extra 1.5 hours for me. It was a very stressful and emotionally draining experience. My truck was EXTREMELY old, dirty, and damaged. The fuel level was showing slightly higher than what my gage was showing, but I was so late and frustrated that I didn't even care about it at that time. I had a very negative experience with U-haul and the EZ storage pickup location. I would like to talk to a manager regarding this issue. U-haul caused a lot of trouble, loss of money, and time for me (even though I had a truck reserved and guaranteed by U-haul)

After driving halfway to our destination, we heard a kitten meowing. A cat was in the engine. We took two hours to try to get the poor cat out but could not, I think the cat died. It was sad. Both mirrors did not work, and they had to be held up if they were to be used. The customer service was excellent.

Very poor communication between franchises employees and corporate. A rental was found for me and the franchise employee decided he didn't want to rent the trunk and refused to speak to corporate , then a truck was found back at the first store for me ,, lots of confusion

I was incorrectly charged for fuel. I returned it exactly like the attendant at the pick up location told me...at 3/4 full because that was the level at which it was at when I picked it up! I need you to send me the corrected invoice for zero amount due asap.

Please do not provide trucks with empty gas tanks, it is a huge wrench in the plan to pick up a truck only to have to go locate a gas station first thing. Not acceptable in my opinion.

I think its a bit of a dirty trick to have your customers fill it to the level it was at...in my case just above 1/4...have them return it to that level, and if they are off, charge them $30, when its clear you have no intentions of refilling it yourselves. If you did, it would be full everytime, like a normal car rental service....this is the epitome of "bad revenue" and frankly a practice that is beyond ridiculous. If the truck was full, its easy to get back to full. Customers have no idea how to fill it back to that level....exactly. And if they are off (even a little, you charge them)...put yourselves into a competitive market, which I realize you are not and this practice would go away in the name of customer experience. I drove 20 miles to move a couch. I'm okay paying for fuel...but the charge seems inappropriate when you are clearly charging everyone and not even filling it back up.

These ladies made the whole process a pleasure and very easy. This is the best experience I've had renting from U-Haul. Very useful to have the rental at the storage facility.

I requested to keep the Uhaul until 8pm. When I arrived they told me it must be back by 6pm when the store closes, or I could keep it until the next day and return it then. I asked if there would be an extra charge to keep it overnight, and I was told there would NOT be. Upon receiving my receipt, they charged me for 2 days of rental, 2 days of tax, 2 days of insurance AND they charged me for gas fill-up service and the cost of gas even though I filled up the tank even a little past where it was when I picked up the truck. All of this adds up to about $120 of charges that I should not have been charged for. Now I'm sure it will be a battle with the store to get refunded this amount.

All employees were friendly and very helpful . My 1st time renting a uhal and the guy who helped explain to me all the details . Cashiers were also very friendly and fast was able to get in and out in less than 5mns .

The employees were the only positive. This was supposed to be a Self Service facility that I would be able to access the rental without any employees assistance or waiting for the facility to open. I showed up at 9:30a to pick up the truck and accessed the app to only have a message that there is no vehicle assigned to my reservation and to contact Manu 24/7 for assistance. I called 2 times and texted to not receive any response. I finally was able to pick up the rental AFTER 10:30a, once the facility was open. This misinformation wasted an entire hour and delayed my move. This is totally unacceptable and U Haul has a real problem not only at the facility but with your app. U Haul is attempting to promote themselves as a self service 21st century company but has not bothered to work out the kinks but continues to market this way to pick up a rental that just doesn't work. All the employees at the facility informed us that the app has NEVER worked and they ALWAYS run into this same problem. I think U Haul owes me some form of reimbursement for not only failing to fulfill their advertising but for creating a delay in my move.

Nothing wrong with the location. And the folks at EZ Storage are great. Only UHAUL corporate policy pretty much sucks. We reserved for one location then called back when no confirmation was forthcoming. To find out that you had no trucks at location we reserved. So apparently if you cant confirm you ignore? Nice policy. Eventually we were taken care of. Other sucky policies: 1) trying to get us to accept a shorter than 24 hour rental period even though we are paying for 24 hours. So you are double-booking? dont pretend its customer service...its just greed. Like charging $30 if we bring in vehicle under 1/4 tank. So we pick up the truck with 1/4 tank and if in a rush and cant fill it up we get penalized? So the truck is always rented at 1/4 tank....since you don't allow the facility to fill the truck, you are basically just waiting for a customer to screw up and fill the tank by accident, meanwhile picking up $30 fees when someone doesn't bring the tank back at 1/4 tank. The bean-counters obviously write the policies at U-Haul.
