U Haul even called me on my cell phone later in the day to check if I had dropped of the truck.

Representative said they would not charge us for a full day after I returned unit 1 15 mins late. Instead they did charge us 1 extra full day with taxes but reduced it by only $5.00. They did not fulfill their promise. I could have kept unit for another day if I knew that upfront.

Staff should be on site and not at the Dunlop location. If the are going to someplace else they should leave a note on the door. We found out where to go by someone else who was taking a vehicle.

after having the trailer i booked a couple of weeks in advance, i was cancelled 3x. It was only because i drove by the lot where the trailers are kept, did I know there was one to rent. The main UHaul number as well as the manager of the store did not know there was one

Th we were very late opening up. The scammed My fuel usage. I know I returned it with more fuel than when I took the truck. I know know I needed to take picture of fuel gage at beginning. I totally disagree with you. Never take a uhaul from them again. They are rude

I rented off this location two times within approximately one week. The first time they did not have my moving blankets ready or available for me. They scrounged together six for me. The second time they did not have the moving blankets ready for me again, but they were able to get the full 12 that I requested but I had to wait for them to fold and count them and prepare them for me. When I got into the truck there was a used black facemask sitting on the dash below the windshield so I do not believe the vehicle was cleaned properly between uses. There was a charge for a furniture dolly which I did not request and the person working said they would remove it from my invoice. They did not I was charged for the furniture dolly, U-Haul did eventually refund my seven dollars but they did not refund the tax that was charged on the seven dollars, then they refunded half of the tax that was charged on seven dollars, then they finally refunded the full seven dollars plus tax. They did give me $50 back as well after the fact due to them considering that everything not being ready for me as promised. But I was not given $100. 50 for the first time everything was not ready and 50 for the second time everything was not ready.

Truck was poorly maintained leading to terrible fuel milage of 23.5L per 100km. Even with towing a large trailer (which was not the case). I have never seen fuel milage that bad.

I booked my truck 22 days upfront. When I arrived yesterday to U-Haul affine the guy was so rude and couldn't find my reservation even I showed him it is on my phone. He said that nothing is available and he doesn't care that I still have reservation on my app. It took us almost an hour of fighting with this guy before he gave us 10 feet truck instead of 20 feet which was booked. I really disappointed with Uâ€"Haul service and don't recommend that location at all. I had people organized but if I didn't fight with that guy I would loose all money. Due to smaller truck size we end up paying almost double for moving. Terrible experience.

Nobody was there when we arrived, had to call someone and it took 5+ minutes for someone to get there. When we came back with the truck, they weren't answering the phone and the door was locked. It wasn't after hours, it was 3:00 pm. I got charged for after hours drop off. Will never use uhaul again.

The location itself was fine. The person working the counter was friendly and easy to communicate with. The trucks are a little tricky to find when they're not from the parking lot at the supplied address so with limited knowledge of the area took a bit of driving around to find it.

There was nobody in the office. There was a sign saying "I will be back in 10 minutes". I waited for 15 minutes nobody showed up. So I used the app to checkout the car, took pictures and dropped the key in lock box.

The truck was filthy, the brakes did not work properly we almost got into an accident. The body of the truck was damaged. When we tried to tell the agent about this he said he didn't care and this was the only truck available. We also rented a furniture dolly and he told us he didn't have one. When asked for an alternative option he told us that was our problem not his. We tried to call him once we were driving to tell him about the brakes and he again told us this wasn't his problem. Very unprofessional very rude will not use UHaul again.

Website and google said opened had to wait for 1 extra hour before someone finally arrived. During rental 1st deposit was never refunded and was charged more than how much the 1st rental costed even though we drove it less.

Try not to charge people bogus charges two and a half weeks after rental!! I suggest everyone check their bank accounts to make sure Uhaul isn't dipping into them! I didn't receive any notification, email or otherwise, of this happening. Extremely shady!!

Truck was clean enough. I would have preferred a walk around the vehicle with the UHaul rep although he reassured me the vehicle was inspected. I did take a video nevertheless to as not be held accountable for anything. I was supposed to receive an invoice and have not. I have not checked my visa statement and will to ensure it is accurate.

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Manish who manages the Uhaul on Bradford St., Barrie. Kindly foreword this complaint to your highest manager. Two weeks prior to my move on Sat. June 26th, I dropped in and spoke to Manish. He booked my truck and a dolly for Sat. June 26th. He gave me no confirmation and no paperwork. He said he would call me days before my move to confirm my truck. I finally, thru your headoffice, got his number and called him the night before my move. He said he had no reservation for me and had no truck for me the night BEFORE MY MOVE and he hung up on me with an indignant attitude. Do you realize the stress I was under since I had coordinated the movers to meet me at 10 am the next day. If this Manish represents the face of UHaul in ANY capacity he can only be seen as untrustworthy and a liar to tell me he had no reservation for me. The guy from the store sent me back and forth from another address because 10 Anne St wasn't where he was to check in ( was on a timeline and this didn't help). The most annoying was how he closes at 4 and I personally asked him that I maybe there shortly after four to return the trailer. He was ok with that as long as it is there on the Saturday. He charged me for the extra day. Cheap pathetic move from a company that didn't provide me with the size of trailer I wanted and rented me a more expensive one. I will rethink before I use Uhaul again unless I am reimbursed.

I had a good experience until I returned the truck. I accidently locked the keys inside. The personal running this location charged me a hundred dollars plus tax to cleaning the truck for the service of unlocking the truck. I feel scammed and wronged by them, so I will tell everyone I know about this location. On another note, staff are lazy and unorganized. They show up for opening hours 2 minutes before, so good luck getting things for an early check out.. They don't answer the phone at all, even though I have seen the cell phone he carries around.

The location was fine but we were supposed to pick up a truck the evening before our move date and no one told us there was no truck ready at our original pick up location (supposed to pick up in Alliston but had to go all the way to Barrie) at our scheduled time and date even after receiving a confirmation email the day before. That meant we had to scramble the morning of for a truck since the traffic service department was closed by the time we were taken off hold to speak to a representative and they couldn't even guarantee a truck was available the next morning. Luckily one was but we had to drive an extra 41 km then got billed for extra mileage. It would have been nice to have been called the day before we were supposed to pick it up to allow us to speak to someone earlier and get a truck that night especially since they knew someone hadn't dropped off their truck on time

Absolute worst moving experience I've ever had! they changed my pick up location and wasted hours of my time changed my drop off location from what I originally requested which was again an hour away also couldn't set me up with a storage unit that I was needing... absolutely terrible!

Instead of having customers ticketed for parking where your signs state is “Uhaul Customer Parking”, try having the attendant get his lazy butt out of the chair when somebody picks up a truck and go over everything including parking. Try being open with an attendant, on a weekday mid-morning when you are supposed to be for drop off. The customer service here was absolutely abysmal. I would never rent from uhaul again.

I hope the confusion of two locations is short lived. Was inconvenient to find 10 Anne street then have to drive to another location to get things organized, paper work, keys and such. However, the two people I did deal with, pick up and return, were very very good. Was impressed with attitude and how they did look after my needs. I will use them again when needed.

The steering wheel was very loose. The brakes had a major pulsation and well as the tires when on the highway. The fuel gauge was wrong when I entered the truck. That is why I returned it with a half tank of fuel. The inside of the truck was filthy and should be cleaned. Especially during a pandemic. I will continue to use Uhaul but my overall experience driving this truck was not great compared to the many other trucks I have rented from you.
