I have still not received my deposit back, and when I called the store I was hung up on when I asked when and how much I should be receiving, as well as when I got the U-Haul it was below half a tank and I was advised if I don’t fill the tank back I will be charged more so now I’m out $120 extra dollars when the total should’ve been $29. I’m very dissatisfied with the service last night and would like to speak with a U-Haul representative about being reimbursed for the money I shouldn’t have had to pay.

It took forever (30 minutes plus) to get the vehicle. Had to wait while store customers were handled. Multiple interruptions delayed the process. Was given key to wrong vehicle. The poor clerk had to much to juggle.

I had some initial issues with the automated process , partly my fault , partly confusing website directions , and partly some issue with the van not having been “returned” in the system. The clerk was helpful to a point but had to eventually call someone to sort it out . While I picked the location, the added delay had me inside a liquor store longer than I’d normally plan as I don’t drink. They eventually sorted it , I got the app and the automated process was much easier. 2 or 3 complaints I might have : When I reserved the van online , it was for four hours at .49/mi. When things finally got sorted in the app, my rental agreement showed 3 hr window. My final billing I believe charged .79/mi. I’ve verified that it was supposed to be .49/mi, I went back in to look at my final bill and it just says “site down” I don’t really care about the money difference, mine was a quick in town haul, and as I wasn’t penalized for having it 4 hrs versus 3 that also was a non issue. (In fact ironically, I wasn’t going to bother mentioning it till they sent this request for a review).

My pickup was at a time of day when the location was busy with other patrons. The guy handling my transaction did an extremely good job of handling my pick while still servicing his other customers and had me on my way in no time at all. They did a good job.

The employee lied to me and wasnt interested in giving me the keys to the vehicle and after multiple calls to uhual he refused to speak to the rep. It took me over and hour to finally get the keys from him that he intitially told me he didnt have. It was a horrible experience. I would never suggest this location to anyone even of going elsewhere cost more money. It will be worth it to not deal with this store. The employee i returned the keys to was polite and quickly got me on my way.

I didn't like how I had to be on speaker phone in a liquor store in the hood and the store clerk yelling me cuz I don't understand his fucking fucking language and then their boss giving me shit like why yall not at least have someone in person to take my credit card info down wtf

The phone app does not direct me to pick up the keys inside the store; it says to go to the key box, and then to the dropbox to return, etc. This should be updated in the app for this location.

Tire pressure low on all tires. Van was dirty. Had to wait for 15 minutes for the clerk to get ahold of owner on the phone. Clerk did not speak English very well so there was a huge language barrier. Owner got on the phone with me and asked for a “contact person and number. “ This has never been asked by other locations. I will not rent from this location again.

The van was dirty. The fuel tank was at 3/4 full and the business was absolutely clueless. When I returned the vehicle the never checked the mileage and refused to provide a receipt. It was some bullshit!

The staff tried to scam me when I picked up my van, I told him I had paid and was waiting for it to process. He tried to tell me to cancel the processing and have him do my rental all over again, so that he could charge me the $20 service fee for having him do the paperwork. When I told him I wasn’t gonna cancel cuz I had just paid, he got extremely defensive and told me “this is the way uhaul makes us do it” to which I replied that didn’t sound right. I ended up getting my key, but only after arguing with the clerk about the key number. When I went to return the van, there was a different clerk but he was just as rude when I asked if this was where I was suppose to turn my key in (since they didn’t have a drop box) I will never rent from this specific location again, and wouldn’t suggest it to anyone I knew.

The customer should be walked out to the van or truck that was rented to be sure The customer and the vehicle arw a comfortable fit. When I asked the proprietor if there was gas in the van he just told me to make sure I brought it back with the same amount of gas I left with. Little did I know there was a hole at the bottom of the tank. When I left the parking lot the gas gauge said it was on empty and the dummy light was on. I pulled into the gas station next-door and when I went to put gasoline in the tank the little door over the hose model was broken. I didn’t notice until I got home that the six blanket I ordered weren’t in the back of the van but that wasn’t the worst problem. We smell gasoline and looked under the van and saw a continuous leak occurring. We called U-Haul and they got a tow truck to come and take the van away. We call the fire department because of all the gasoline over our driveway. If you want the report from the fire department we will get it to you

The uhaul employee at this location definitely needs to be replaced with someone who pan actually do the job. He is a poor representative for your company. So many mistakes including that he forgot to give us a contact. We were also charged 135.40 for a ticket that we supposedly got while driving the truck that we were just renting. The whole experience was horrible and I will never use nor recommend Uhaul again.

The rental is handled from within a liquor store that is under construction, so it was a little chaotic. The van I rented had a bad odor coming from the air conditioning vents. I reserved online but the clerk asked to see my card and then wrote down my CVV number on his laptop…

The truck was completely empty at the time of pick up gas light was on, however the awesome gentleman at the check in CK was so professional and a pleasant person it was fine and I didn’t complain. It’s about delivery and how you speak to a customer. When your apologetic and have great customer service skills the customer will be much more understanding! Thanks CK for making my transition to moving run smoothly. I will be back to your location in 2 weeks to move the rest of my furniture! Have a blessed week Sir!

The staff should be more polite. I drove 19 milles and put two gallons fuel but U-haul charged me aditional 3 gallons by $6.00. It’s not fair! Will be never ever rent van hire!

The van was scheduled for a 12:00 pickup. I arrived at 11:55 am. The clerk at the store didn't know how to do a rental so she had to call the manager. It took him 19 minutes to get there. Not a way to run a business. I rent Uhaul vans and truck every 2-3 months. I won't rent here again.

The UHaul is always clean with a big exception it reeked of Marijuana it was so strong it actually was stinking up the items I needed to move . The van was clean but the stench was overwhelming

When I got there the man told me I did not have a reservation. It took about 15min and him calling someone else who then asked for all my info over the phone. So disorganized and very rude and treated me like I was a bother, even asking me to step aside to wait for a customer who came in after me

Truck was not wiped down or cleaned before rented to us. Reached out to uhaul to remove cleaning fee, no response. Was charged 109.00 for our rental and fees (total final bill) and then I got charged another 49.00 w/out any reason so in total was charged 160.00 still awaiting a response

Renting UHaul equipment is not the main business at this location (it's a convenience market, and it's pretty busy). The gentleman who helped me struggled a little with the process, as it was new to him. Evidently whoever rented the equipment before me didn't close out correctly. Anyway, the fellow who helped me was good natured throughout and made the experience better than average, even if it did take half an hour.

The location was a major issue. I don’t have an issue with the uhaul being rented from a liquor store, although this was definitely a first for me, but my issue was with the staff and clientele. No one was wearing a mask including the staff they had me fill out my own info on their tablet and the van wasn’t cleaned out or refueled before I rented it. Obviously this made me feel unsafe knowing the ban was not sanitized. I have vulnerable family and taking unnecessary risks like this makes me incredibly unhappy. I would absolutely never rent from this location again. I’m genuinely appalled that Uhaul would use locations like this to rent their trucks.

When I approached the van the gas cap was off hanging, I informed the guy, he said don't worry about it. When I got into the van it had a little under 3/4 of gas and returned it with slightly over 1/2 tank. I drove 39 miles. He charged me for 17 gallons of gas. I will never go back.

There's a hostess rapper in between the 2 front seats, there is no lockbox, it took the guy 10 minutes to give me the keys, I called customer service 3 times, the verification person that called my friend was incredibly rude to him. Horrible experience all around.

None of my equipment was available, I was unable to skip the line, they did not know that I was coming and I had to wait while they phoned someone else. Additionally, there were a lot of shady and shirtless individuals on the premises (I mean, it is.a liquor store, but still), and I generally felt unsafe as an unaccompanied woman.

I was charged for items I did not order. I recommend going to an actual U-haul location and having them write up the order and not doing self check out until Uhaul can get it right without miscommunication to customer.

First, I went online to make a reservation using the 24/7 service and this location was listed. Once I went to the location to pick up my vehicle (which you are instructed to wait until you arrive at the pick up location and login into 'my pick my vehicle'), I tried to login using my location service and nothing would work. I asked the guy inside and he started saying I was probably not using it right and then began asking for all sorts of other info. I then called UHaul 800#, and come to find out they are not even registered to do 24/7...that's why it did not work! Why are they even listed on the website as having 24/7 service? Finally, after the guy gave me such attitude regarding wanting additional contact info, employment info etc., I finally told him that all I am giving you my credit card and DL info, if that is not enough, then, i am going elsewhere. Finally he took those and gave me the key! What a 45 min nightmare.

Please consider finding a new pick up/drop off location. The cashier at Express Food & Liquor was EXTREMELY disrespectful. I had already checked in online and all I needed to do was retrieve the key. When I asked for the key, the cashier had me restart the check in process. At one point in the process, I was asked to explain why I couldn’t produce a credit card. The cashier told me to sign my name. I explained to him that I was directed to provide an explanation not a signature. He told me that my decision to refuse to sign is a decision to forfeit my rental. Furthermore, he expressed that his was my problem and not his. It wasn’t until I called U-Haul and an agent called the cashier, that he handed me the key. That cost me about 30 minutes of rental time. As you already know, moving is stressful. I also will like to suggest a drop off box for the keys. The cashiers at this location provide poor customer service to U-Haul renters. Their sole concern is for their customers. Overall, I think this is a convenient service but I think I’ll just go to a physical U-Haul location in e future to ensure better customer service.

THERE WAS NO VAN THIS IS FRAUD AND ILLEGAL, I HOPE I GET THE CHANCE TO TELL A JUDGE JUST HOW HORRIBLE THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE IS. I never picked up the van, the location did not have the van, now the location keeps charging me again and again for the van.. you guys, your inventory system is messed up. I am very displeased, please send this along to your legal team, I never imagined that uhaul would try to commit fraud but here it is. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND UHAUL TO ANYONE EVER. wow you guys, just WOW

The Cargo Van was just what I needed to transport a purchase. The vendor was quick, professional, and thorough. The UHAUL vehicle was clean, fueled, and operated in excellent running order. If anyone needs a Van in the area, get it here. Reserve online however, as even as I picked it up there were others seeking to also use the services.
