First off, you should ask us to rate U-Haul itself!! The people at the location where I picked up were wonderful but there was an issue that should have not to have happened and it caused me to call the U-Haul scheduling center. I have been in the customer service business for over 30 years and I have to rate this as the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER encountered and it was dealt to me by a Supervisor named Tisha at you scheduling center. A SUPERVISORâ€¦.She was rude, uncaring of my situation, unhelpful and pretty much called me a liar about receiving an email of guarantee from U-Haul of which I have if you'd care to see it. She told me she would extend a lousy $50 credit (of which she didn't do) yelled at me and spewed nothing but CONTROL (her way or no way kind of control) in her voice and that's understating the situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was treated absolutely terrible for something I had expressed to everyone I spoke with when I made the arrangements for the trailer, that this was very important and could not have any hiccups due to the intense possible hostile situation of this move. Again, It would be different if I had not received an email from U-Haul which stated my trailer would be there guaranteed for me to pick up Sunday morning at 9 am. I even received a phone call prior to Sunday morning confirming my reservation and I never received anything to the contrary SO when I arrived to get the trailer and it was not there I was not prepared. I had movers at the site waiting and all Tisha could do was make the situation worse!!! I feel I was involved in a BAIT & SWITCH by U-Haul that ended up costing me instead of $49.95 for a trailer it cost me close to $260. (of which I did not have to spend.) SO PLEASE ASK US TO RATE U-Haul not just the pickup/ drop off location!!!!!! I would very much like someone in a Management position (other than Tisha) to please contact me to discuss this situation. I was wronged and no matter how much you want to blame it on me it still falls back on U-Haul!!!!! You have my phone number. My order number for the reservation was 84278636 Thank youCheryl M.

It's just a truck stop basically and a little out of the way for where our destination was when there was a location right in Ellensburg nearby. No problems though and plenty of room to park the trucks.DAVID H.

I went to return it And there was only one employee at the convenient store. She said it would be five minutes before she could help me. It ended up being 20. I called U-Haul while waiting to see if there is another way to return it and learned about the online return. I went back in to get my key so I could do it myself and it only took a few minutes. When I dropped off the key there was no apology or anything else. I understand she was busy but the customer service is horribleKIRK P.
Horrible app that waisted almost 45 min on pick up and drop off just trying to upload a photo, if my roommate hadn't had there phone we wouldn't have been able to pick up the rental with mobile, properly socially distancedKenneth B.

I wasted hours of my precious time while trying to move with my disabled wife and 2 year old waiting for idiots on the phone that end up messing up my reservation requests or just getting my call dropped. The Ellensburg rental location is at Wildcat Storage and though online it appears you can pick up your uhaul rental on Sunday, the place is shut tight- not good at all! Having only one day to move our son to his new place, fortunately the Kittitas location is not too far away and they actually are present to honor your rental.Scott W.

Yeah, so the LOCATION was fine even though this was not the location I reserved the equipment at. You also didn't have the equipment I needed at the time I needed it, even though I reserved it two weeks earlier AND had gone through and checked in for the equipment and supplied all my information. It was a nightmare trying to locate a truck I reserved, rescheduling moving help, hotels, etc. I don't know if I'll use Uhaul again because of this and the attitude of the people I spoke on the phone with.Taggart A.

Inspect the tires yourself very close. We were sent away with balled tiers. We didn't know until we checked it in. The gentleman checking us in Colorado couldn't even believe that they sent us away with tires in that condition. I am so happy that we made it there safeRex P.

I ordered the trailer almost two weeks in advance for Yakima and right in the middle of my move with movers waiting on me, I had to go 48 miles away to pickup in Kittitas! I called Yakima and they were most unhelpful! Terrible. Kittitas was helpfulâ€"just NOT convenientMark C.

Very upset. I live in Cle Elum WA. I confirmed the 20ft truck there, and didnt get a call till 5:30PM the night before pickup that the truck wasnt there, I had to drive 40 miles (80 round trip) out of my way to get the truck in Kittatas. And I had to pay the mileage!! The location in Cle Elum never had the truck, since it was on line the system just took the reservation and then no one notified me till it was too late to change. The guy I dealt with was very nice in Pick up location, but the it was in a mini mart, small and cramped. The truck reeked of marijuana in the box and in the cab I located 2 beer bottles rolling around in the cab. The floor of the cab looked like it had spills on it.Eric P.

Sent me out with bald tire that went flat. 30 minutes on hold and no answer, so went to web site then 3 and a half hour wait for tire replacement.Walter D.
The lady was trying to be helpful but her system wouldn't work - tried for over 45 mins. She wasn't able to check in the truck while I was there. I had to leave with no proof dropped off truck. They weren't following COVID procedures and it felt unsafe to be in store. She did email me a receipt and of course ended up charging me for 155.3 miles because the correction of 405 allowed miles was evidently never corrected on my rental.Martina K.

Because there is typically only one terminal available and one employee working the UHaul side of the business, you can get a line to return/checkout the equipment around opening and closing. If you use the online check In, you can save a lot of time.Brett H.

I was very disappointed with the drop off. I had waited 20 mins as they were very busy to drop my truck off. When it was my turn the guys behind me started right in. I explained that I was in pain and couldn't just wait while she was working with the guys that was behind me. She just kept helping him and I had to leave. I didn't get a receipt or even find out the total cost of my trip. I felt ignored and discriminated against. I was not a pushy gentleman, but she still should have done her job and atleast acknowledge me.Kimberly M.

I made a reservation 2 weeks before our move. I was supposed to pickup my truck at Wildcat storage in Ellensburg. I received a phone call on Thursday 6/25/20 and was told they didn't have a truck for me but the Exit 115 Shell did so my reservation was changed to that location. At 10:55 ( 5 minutes prior to pickup) I was called and told that there was NO TRUCK for us. We were pulling into the parking lot after driving from Seattle. What a frustrating situation. The lady at the desk was nice and called around but there were NO one way trip trucks available. I was offered a pick up in Yakima with a return in Yakima. Of course that wouldn't do since we were moving our son to Seattle. The lady then found a truck for us to use but not until Sunday morning. So we drove back home to Seattle on Saturday and then drove back to exit 115 again on Sunday to pick up the truck and then move our son home. That was an EXTRA 200 miles of travel for us. I have no complaints about the exit 115 customer service she was put in a bad situation and was able to help us out. I am frustrated with Uhaul as I made sure to make a reservation in plenty of time and somehow two separate locations did NOT have the reserved truck i requested. I believe I deserve a credit on my rental for the inconvenience as we had to pay for the larger truck 15 ft vs the 10ft we reserved and extra gas and wear and tear on our vehicle for the extra trip that wasn't our fault.
