Hi, This location is disgusting! Looks like an abandoned building inside. He really downgrades the reputation of Uhaul. My main complaint however is, I rented a Uhaul on last Saturday March 2nd and returned it same day. You have had $63.63 pending from my account for nearly a week! THIS IS LUDICROUS! I recently opened a new bank account and I had about $10 left in this account until my hect check so YOUR pending transaction is making it appear as if I’ve been negative for a week! If you don’t remove this pending charge TODAY, I’m filing fraud charges against you! This doesn’t make any sense! I completed services with you a week ago, no reason to still have ANYTHING pending in my bank account! Don’t blame my bank, don’t blame my account YOU just need to fix YOUR process! I want it fixed TODAY and I mean it! Thank you!!!

The store clerk did not go out and check the truck or the mileage. He did not put the hand truck on the Uhaul. The truck was dirty with mud everywhere in the back and had to be cleaned out before use. Was overcharge for mileage. Will never use this location again.

This below is a serious feedback for U-hual reservation. This month, November 10rth, I made a reservation on a truck and dolly at 2350 Atlanta Rd, Smyrna, GA 30080, and I received my order confirmation letter. But not until on the very SAME of my scheduled date, you told me my reservation HAS BEEN CANCELED, and told me my only choice to go to another location! much farther one! Since I have hired people to move so I had no choice but forced to take it! And plus, when I took the truck at your Austell location, the owner forgot to put the dolly on! so I had to return from where I was in the middle and got the dolly. This two inconvenience really bothered me and definitely cost my extra time and money. Instead of the estimated $42 you charged me $90.83! Not even mention my extra gas! On top of the unprofessional cancellation, you shouldn't charge me $90.83 and I dont want to pay the difference. Uhaul's service has always been good, you dont want to ruin that. Go ahead check the record and let me know. You don't want this issue on BBB or public. Your loyal customer

The whole truck smelled like fish, I just needed it to move a sofa set. The smell soaked into the sofa set and now I will need to pay to remove that awful odor. Besides the horrible smell at checkout I believed I was overcharged because for less that 24 hours I was charged close to 500. On top of all the the customer service here at the Evergreen tropical food mart is horrible I waited 45 minutes just to turn in the keys. Bad customer service, poor quality of the rental, and prices way to high! Don’t waste your time considering renting at this place.

The store was smelly and crowded. The parking lot is small with limited parking. Two cars had to move just to get the rental truck out of the parking lot. The store uses antiquated tech and it took over 30 minutes for me to get processed. I will NEVER rent from this place again.

The only problem was using a phone number to rent is a bit extreme. Because a phone number doesn't match a state ID the vehicle can't be rent... very sad experience with that.

The truck is old, quite worn out, many dents/scrapes/dings. I expected better from Uhaul. The driver seat leans, steering wheel is tattered, can of truck smells foul. It's just time to be retired, that's all. The pickup/drop off location: I was skeptical pulling up and then we met the nicest man that took great care of us checking the van out and bringing it back. I wouldn't hesitate to pickup from there again. Very nice people.

Though I know its jo fault of the renters, U-Haul sucks! Proces outrageous and I was charged extra $20 for gas? Just for going 27 miles really? I no better to go to other local truck rentals!

Place smell like fish Uhaul over charged my card I didn't authorize for my card to be used. They charged my card $135 after a month in a half. I requested truck for 24hrs was told last min that I can only have it for 12hrs. This was pose to be due to a high request for trucks not my fault so I had to be inconvenienced. I was charged for 3days when it should've only been 2days. This company also lied and said I didn't refuel I put $15 in that Damn truck before I returned it to get it back to where it started. I called Uhaul and complained was told I'll get a call back. I Never got a call but an email stating they only gonna refund me $21 for dolly WTF??? I always used Uhaul plenty times over the years and Never got ripped off I'm disgusted with this location & the company claims department. Lesson learned Never use Uhaul again.

The truck was nasty on the inside- trashy, dirty, and hadn’t been cleaned. There was a thick layer of sticky stuff stuck inside the cup holders as well. The furniture pads smelled terrible and were almost unusable. The person the truck was picked up from was quite hard to understand and didn’t seem to realize there was supposed to be a truck pick up. He was late for work so we waited an entire 15 minutes for the guy to show up. Also, is anyone aware this is a place that seeks exotic animals? Very uncomfortable location. Headquarters called me the day before pick up and changed my original pick up from the place where I ordered it located 10 minutes from my apartment to this place which was 45 minutes away because of what they said was a weather delay and the truck I ordered was never turned in like it was supposed to be. The weather delay is understandable but the fact that there are so many U-Haul pickups closer and likely much cleaner and nicer than this location is what really upsets me. I spent an hour calling all around my area to try and get somewhere closer after speaking with headquarters but there were no 20 foot trucks available for me even though I had rented this a week or more in advance. HIGHLY disappointed in the entire experience. Will absolutely be reporting this to my husband’s company and using a different company for future moves as we move quite a bit; 5 times since 2012, this is only the second uhaul expereince though. More below.

Make sure the gas on your contract matches what is actually in the tank. If it's not, make sure you have the manager change and initial, do not take his word that's it's ok. Glad I took a picture of the gas level or I would of been charged for extra gas.

Excellent friendly customer service. In and out in 10 minutes. The person at the Tropical Mart drop off even give me some great tips about returning my truck. Such an easy place to drop off. Highly recommend this location.

This location is nasty. There were 2 ladies working at the time of drop off. One of the ladies informed me "He just left". I do not know who "he" is. She called "he" and briefly spoke to him. She then told me to just leave the keys which i did. I found out later they charged me for an extra day, another days insurance, and for gas! I was about 30 minutes late due to having to unload a truck during terrible weather. Not enough to warrant an additional days charge. There was no one waiting for the truck! I also put gas in the truck. I drove it 34 miles and they charged me $22 for fuel! I put $10 (over 3 gallons) worth of fuel in it. Again, I drive it 34 miles! This place is a ripoff and never just turn your keys in. Make them check you in. If they don't have a employee who knows how to check in, that's on them.
