The extra equipment that I paid was not inside the truck when I picked up the truck for my moving. Moreover, I received a call from someone from U-Haul (6 months latter) asking me if I still have the extra equipment that was never delivered!

Truck was full of dirt, blankets which are supposed to be zipped up were scattered around the back of truck, person at desk could not tell me original gas level when I returned vehicle (due to computer system being down) which caused me to incur an additional $80 in gas charge, customer service provided poor advice on how to handle the issue which caused me to make trips back and forth to the location. Overall, a very poor experience, I will not use UHAUL again and will advise friends/family the same.

Through no fault of the location or the attendant, this I was the worst experience I’ve ever had with uhaul. The system could not find my reservation. Confirmation emails and texts were not being delivered to my contact for 24 hours, so we could not even check in ourselves. I was hung up on by customer service after being spoken to very rudely by your agent. I spent 3 hours in total trying to get my truck. If your system cannot handle same day bookings, you should not allow them. The only reason it worked out was because of the efforts of the attendant at the Esso. I would not recommend uhaul as a company to anyone again.

Location had no internet over Wi-Fi and clerk had no data for his private cell. U-Haul app was useless. Took 35 minutes to process my reservation over the telephone. Further, truck fuel warning dash light was on when received. Had to fuel truck just to get it off the lot. I should get a credit for the additional 1/4 tank of gasoline Ieft in it.

Pick up was great. The young man was courteous and went the extra mile to make sure everything was good. Drop off was a total mess and the young man (different from pick up) made me feel like I was a bother. He didn’t even try to help and then charged my credit card instead of taking the cash. If all employees were like the first young man I would go back but because I might get a different employee I will not go back or recommend.

Charged my account for for the previous user's truck. Refunded it but then upon showing up for my reservation they stated the service was "complete" without me even getting the truck. Had to redo the whole reservation process. Other than that it was an efficient truck.

we rented a 10 foot truck for spring cleaning we drove it 10 kil before it broke down low on coolant waited 2 hours for road service then they tried to bill us for 2 days cause we were 1 hour late cause of the breakdown just a very bad experience over all for a huge corp like UHAUL the equipment should be properly maintained this is the second time in 1 year that i got over charged just tired off it

Please check the coolant level of the truck. When idling in traffic, it would go to overheating levels so I need to turn it off, wait for traffic to move and turnit on again.

I had ordered two dozen moving pads, but I did not get any. Sadly, that is typical of my experience with U-Haul, the moving pads are never available. Otherwise, everything worked smoothly!

If you show status as "reserved", make sure you follow your commitment. If booking is NOT confirmed, don't show status as "Reserved". U- haul booking process is pathetic. I had called Buds Variety, 80 Queen St W (after online booking) and I was told that if status is "Reserved", I can come and pickup truck on scheduled date. However, that was not the case. Very poor service from U- haul.

When I got there, they said their system was down and I could complete my drop off online or phone. After a long day of moving, not helpful! I called and was transferred to the field sales rep….and call was disconnected. Will not choose this location again amd perhaps not use uhaul next time.

The actual driving of the truck was perfectly fine. Truck was clean, drove fine and no issues there at all. Issues were the amount of time it took to sign out the truck, the amount of time and effort it took to return the truck and I was grossly over charged

Computer wasn't working at the location for pickup. Not the attendees fault as they had submitted an issue to corporate the day before. Had to call to get things sorted and the employee was looking at the wrong location because they manage 44 locations. Again, not the overworked employees fault. Got called by U-Haul to pick up the truck a day early but when I got there the reservation had not been adjusted. Took 40 minutes to sort out the issue and ended up checking in online myself. Made me late for an appointment I had earlier arranged. I had a dolly included in my reservation but did not receive one. Went to original location to pick one up and they were out. Went to another location that they told me had a type of dolly I reserved but they were also out. Got a call confirming my reservation ahead of picking it up asking me to pick up early and was told it wouldn't affect drop off. After the pickup fiasco my drop off date was moved back a day. Called my original pickup location and was told that even though they had adjusted it they couldn't readjust and I had to call the location I was dropping off at to get the drop off time set back to the original time. The pickup location did not do a walk around with me or confirm the gas level. Overall one of the worst customer service experiences I've had with U-Haul. Really unimpressed but also the employees are clearly being hung out to dry. Just an appalling service at this point honestly. What really baffled me was being called and asked to pick up early at a different location, asking ten thousand confirmation questions only to show up and have the reservation agent have no clue what I'm talking about or even have a working computer. Actual fucking insanity. Had I known what a shit show it would be I would have said no and just picked up at the original time and location. Just soo so so confusing.

They charged me an initial $90 for rental of the vehicle and approximate mileage. Upon returning the equipment cleaner than I received it they charged me an additional $106. And couldn’t justify the reason for the second charge. I will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone I like.

Filled out the rental documents online, once at the pick up they had nothing in the system, wouldn’t take the reservation number and made me redo everything. Kept taking other customers to pay for their gas which kept taking longer, made me provide an additional contact for an unknown purpose which I’ve never had to do before. I requested an appliance dolly which once there they didn’t have. The truck didn’t have a ramp so loading the appliances that we were moving was very difficult. The covered parking area was filthy covered in garbage and debris and bird droppings everywhere.

The price was for Km but then when you paid it was reverted to miles. Not consistent, but staff was great as i went to another location and she helped me get something closer to where I was moving the stuff. Thank you

This was my first time using a uhaul and i’m a bit annoyed actually. The back of the truck was very dusty/rust residue on the bottom(not sure if that is normal?) The previous user left a container of fruit in the dashboard, who knows how long it was sitting there in the sun but because it was still in there, it is apparent that the employees at the Esso are not double checking the inside of the truck when it is returned. When trying to rent it in person, there was a server issue which caused me to wait 30+ mins just to get the uhaul that i filled out all the details for online. I’m sure that there could be a better system in place/implemented. To top it all off, when I returned it, the gas tank was full and on the line and the employees made me fill it up so it was even more on the line..after spending 80$ already to rent the truck and returning it with a full gas tank, I should have been told this prior to renting it. Luckily I rented it from a gas station so filling it up with an extra 6$ of gas was easy. Also fine tuning the actual price of gas on the laptop /program used by the employees to reflect actual cost would be good. I was informed that if I returned the truck under the kms I requested I would get money back and I did not. Huge miscommunication here. Overall just little inconvenienced to make me most likely never use a uhaul again especially a 30+ minute wait for a truck rental that I inputted online to have ready for my moving date.

Agent insisted I pay by credit card only. Did not check truck with me. Inside of truck filthy and steering wheel sticky. Assistant manager of siteat Welland and Bunting asked us to take truck to him and he spent an hour cleaning it for us. Give that kid a raise!

I was advertised 24/7 pick-up and wanted a vehicle for 9:00am and up until the day-of that is what my reservation said. When I went to check-in I was told I had to pick up the truck in person and wait until 10:00am when the store was open. Also I only needed a one way truck but one "wasn't available for the weened of Apr 23-25" so I had to pay 2-3 times more to rent one and drive 250km instead of only a one way trip of 125km.

The u-haul system was down, and the person at the gas station referred us to the u-haul main branch (it was closed at this time) - that wasn't great. But after we pointed out the main branch was closed, he called his manager and managed to process our drop-off. So I'm grateful for that.

The truck was filthy from pick up. Used napkins all over dashboard. When mentioned to the owners we were told they are not responsible for any cleaning/sanitizing. I have rented uhaul probably 5 times within last year and this was the worst truck I've been to.

Reserved a dolly to move some heavier items , but to my surprise , no dolly , asked the guy in the gas station where it was and he told me they dont have any ! I would have never rented from uhaul in the firat place had i known ! , its called the bait and switch .....and its illegal !

The branch attached to an esso gas station is great in idea however the customer aspect is completely lost. The uhaul service is second in nature and priority to the employees. Signing in and out felt like I was told to click here and wait without any real information given.
