It took some time to get the truck. Service seemed to be online with too many protocols. Rather met with someone…like we ended up doing.

Mackenzie OThe process with the staff member went smoothly and quickly. The truck was clean, however, the 26 foot truck we rented had not been mechanically maintained. As you get to approx. 80 km/h (50mph) the truck began to violently shake. Upon returning the vehicle (earlier than expected due to unsafe conditions) we were informed that this is standard for this size truck as they do very little to repair/maintain the vehicles as time passes.

Sharon HThe guy who had us sign the papers told us the number we were paying was the estimate for the km we may use and that we would receive the difference upon returning the U-Haul. We told him the estimate only needed to be 20 km but he insisted on 30. We only used 16km. When we returned the U-Haul the lady said the guy was wrong and that we’re don’t get money back. The guy also told us the U-Haul would be $20, it ended up being way more for just that. The guy said we were paying $0.89 a L for gas, we payed $1.98 per L. The guy also said there was a ramp on the truck, there was not. We were extremely overcharged and lied to. Would not recommend U-Haul to anyone ever.

NATHAN WThe gentleman on duty , when I picked up my rental , was Excellent ! He was very thorough with his explanation of the rental agreement . Explaining about the mileage charges , fees for damage , insurance and all . You should be proud to have him on your team ! I do not have a problem recommending this U-haul location to my friends and family. Job well done !
Mark JI reserved a van for Sept 30 at said location. When I arrived there was no van available. Apparently customer service offered customer the van for an additional day. The attendant then offered me a cube van and agreed to give me the same mileage charge as for a van. This turned out great as I got my small move done in one trip. Kudos to the attendant "Shail Metha". He was very pleasant and courteous to deal with. A pleasant experience.

Donald PTruck was clean but the air conditioning was not operative. My reservation was changed 3 times I was originally supposed to pick up a truck in Cobourg Ontario and was forced to pick up an alternate truck in Peterborough an hour away. I was supposed to pick up at 7am then changed to 8am then changed to 9 am.

Will MYou didn't have my truck that you let me reserve, you made me wait almost an hour to get a smaller truck for a barely discounted price. You wouldn't let me only reserve the truck for 1 day for cheaper. Your truck pulled hard to the right, and smelled terrible. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS YOU DIDNT HAVE THE TRUCK I ORDERED.

Phyllis ORude customer service, rep did not know how to check us in - he couldn't even find my information. Truck filled with chips, staples, and an earring was found on the seat. Absolutely would not return to this location, and if I could have, I would have cancelled my reservation on the spot due to the rep.

Andre PThe Esso was undermanned which meant I had to wait for customers coming and going before I could get my truck. The truck was filthy inside and I had to sweep it before I could use it. I asked for a furniture dolly when I reserved this weeks ago only to find out that if I wanted a furniture dolly I had to go to another location. I have rented from uhaul several times over the years and will look to Ryder or Penske from now on. At least they are organized

MASUD RClean the interior of the truck - especially the windows. The person who checked me in was great - knew his stuff, good-humoured, helped with the partial refill when I returned. Quick in and out. Another was not very well trained to check me in.

Brian OThe truck was not maintained battery cables were loose causing the veh to shut down at a Tim Hortons drive through. Side mirror fell off. While driving veh now they want us to pay and it was not our fault
LINDAF YI booked at the Water st location for two days (through the call centre). I arrived and was told I could only have it one day as it was already booked for another client the following day??? BUT I was the client there who already booked 2 days? Female clerk was helpful. Male clerk was indignant. I left and went to Chemong location where the male clerk was quick, efficient and amazing!
Shirley TI reserved a truck online. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told they did not have one available and that I needed to go to a different location across town. It was incredibly inconvenient. My wife dropped me off and I needed to take a cab. It would be helpful to be informed of changes in the reservation before pick up.
Benjamin VOverall, the rental experience went seamlessly smooth and staff were accommodating and easy to deal with.The vehicle (a pick-up) was perfect for my boat transportation requirement. Very economical on gas, smooth and solid on road when handling. Only minor issue was that the instrument dash cluster was hard to visualize as it was smeared with coffee or something obstructing your view of the speedometer, and gauges, etc...

Craig VLocation seemed very inexperienced with the whole process!! Bit of a crap show for initial pick up! Since when does a cargo van cost more that a 15' truck....I paid less this time last year for a 15' truck than the cargo van I just currently rented....I will not be dealing with U-Haul again unless its an actual U-Haul office not a third party dropoff/pickup site...
Robert CGreat customer service and very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this location. The only thing I would suggest is that they have uhual supplies on hand in the event you need any supplies last minute as we did not have a lock and had to go to the main uhaul store to get one. Thank you.
CLAYTONW PKeep the gas tank full of gas so I don't have to do it until I drop it off. It was raining hard while driving and water was able to get in under the roll up door. Some of the contents were soaked. Not happy,!!!!
bill mWindshield wipers needed to be replaced right after I left. Check engine light was on.
Kelly JAll was well, except truck was picked up after freezing rain, rear sliding door was frozen so warm water on seal was used to get it open. Windshield wipers should be replaced as they were frozen and are summer wipers. Establishment owner was very accommodating and polite and I will use this outlet again and recommend to friends.
