Le rÃ©servoir doit Ãªtre rendu Ã moitiÃ© plein comme Ã la remise des clÃ©s, mais il est difficile d'estimer visuellement le nombre exact de litres Ã mettre. Si vous l'avez trop rempli ce n'est pas dÃ©duit de la facture alors que chaques litres manquants est facturÃ© 2,25$/L soit 0,50$/L de plus que le prix actuel. Le vÃ©hicule a consommÃ© 70$ d'essence, soit un peu plus de 40L pour 27 miles en conduite urbaine. Cela fait qu'entre la facture annoncÃ©e sur le site Ã la rÃ©servation et la facture finale on peut multiplier par 2 voire 3. Maybe be more clear with the after hour checkout system. I received a text telling me I could be charged 20$ for checkout if I didn't fill out the web form myself. I was not warned of this. The vehicle was dropping out of gears on the highway! Very dangerous. I had to return my vehicle half way through the day as it did not feel safe. They did not seem to care when I told them! Parking lot was horrible, and you had to pay to keep your car there! Would not recommend.Megan M.

I'm disappointed in the overall experience. The quote I received was for 50$ but on my final bill that I received later by email I saw that I've been charged for the insurance which brought the bill to 80$. I did not select it because I have some rental car insurance with my credit card. I was told to fill the tank before I got back which I did it cost 38$ for 19 liters of fuel. I only made 55 km I don't quite understand that I consumed the equivalent of 40 liters per 100 km.Francoisarnaud L.

More instructions on how to use the truck would be nice, it should not be necessary to pick up the manual to use the truck. The clerk was really nice and quick. However, We didnt get the right contract when we passed by in store ( it was someone else name/rental). The (wrong) contract and the clerk said the truck tank was at full, while it was half-way in the truck. We never got a cadena to protect the equipment in the trunk, so when I came back after hour, i had to call and make sure there was something in my file, just in case someone decided to steal the stuff inside.Benjamin P.

The staff were prompt and professional, and addressed me in my mother tongue, which was appreciated. The van we rented was clean - no problem there. However, the right windshield wiper was not functioning, which was a problem on a slushy/snowy day. The internal sensors were also indicating low tire pressure in both rear tires - which, after a visual inspection, did not seem to be the case, but was a bit worrying regardless. Having said that, the van functioned perfectly, and I appreciated the screen on the rear view mirror for backing up.Stuart L.

Staff was friendly but the truck had numerous maintenance lights turn on, wind shield liquid was empty and there was nothing to remove ice and snow on the windshield. We are in Quebec with extreme winter and lots of ice and snow. Every rental provides these basic equipment but according to staff UHaul is not doing it despite numerous feedback from other clients. It was really difficult to open the lockbox, for an unknown reason it didn't open, I waited 1hour outside and it was -20! I called the customer service and they juste suggested I go to another locationâ€¦. which was 40min in public transport. Finally I managed to opened it but it was really difficult and annoying to not have an indoor space where to do it nor helpful instructions. I would suggest to put the lockbox in a heated space.Imane B.

I chose to pick-up the truck with the mobile application, but this requires a document ( issued by the governement and a photo of me on it) that I didn't have and can't really get as a foreigner in this Country. Nowhere on the website I saw this was needed. Hopefully the u-haul office was open and they were able to solve this but I lost some time and would have been forced to cancel if they weren't open. You should really warn the app users about what is needed to complete the pick-up.Clothilde M.
