Its annoying to have to set up an account and on the day of pick up, then u hual wants to confirm my identity. License and my photo is fine but who the hell has their lease agreement and passport in their cars? And most people move on the weekends, when HR isn't open to confirm employment. Seriously, make a list of what is needed before making people jump through frigging hoops for a famn rental and stop wasting peoples time. However your staff at the counter for picking up keys was great, greeted me with a smile each time I came inKirsten O.

Please let the next customer know about equipment changes more than a day before you make them and please have the people from reservations be professional and have answers instead of telling the next customers that it's not uhauls problem that I didn't plan better, when in fact I planned a month or 2 in advance and ordered from a completely different location from where I ended upKris H.

Brian was a bit lackluster and gave me the wrong truck at first. I might have driven off except I noticed that it only had 3/8 of a tank of gas. So when I told him that and the truck number didn't match the contract, he then gave me the right one. In the future, he would do better to stay on track with his job. He seemed somewhere else.John S.
The truck was damaged when I got it, it was dirty abs m and smelt of old cigarettes smoke, however u did not complain. I used the truck as I spoke with them ever day except one that I had the truck explaining that I would need it longer then expected. I received harassing phone calls, I took the truck to the car wash cleanliness it inside and out, returned the truck and now in getting a 700 billJESSICA A.

When I arrived for the uhaul on time at noon, I was told the people who had the truck were still working on taking their belongings off. I was told it would be a 15 min wait time. I waited and went inside again and was told they needed a little more time. I was given the keys 45-50 min later so almost 1pm. What is the whole point of having a darn reservation if the truck isn't ready in time. The truck was not cleaned and smelled cigarettes and wasn't swept. It seemed like if the people who had it before slept in it. The smell was pretty bad. I was told a quote and was charged $135 dollars with all these uncommon fees. I was also charged for gas, and I had pumped it to the amount It was when I first got the uhaul. I also had to ask the employee on what to do when I return the uhaul and where i put the keys. I've never had a bad experience until this past weekend, which is pretty upsetting.DIANA R.

I don't even know where to begin. I was planning on doing everything online, and the actual booking process was smooth. I got the email to go to my chosen location at 1:30pm on the day of pickup. I get there at 1:30pm, and click on check out in the email. Then the website tells me that my van is conveniently located at a pickup location 12 MILES AWAY! So I drive there, and I check out the van. I entered all the information in the online portal, got the key and was on my way. The van kept showing low tire pressure by the way. When returning the van, it took me 3 attempts to do it online, but since I returned after hours, the system wouldn't let me. I dropped off the key in the after hours return, but I wanted to make sure U-Haul knows that I did. After a 40 minute hold, I was able to speak to a customer service rep. Now I had to pay. For some reason there was no way to pay my outstanding balance until a WEEK AFTER the return when I received an invoice in my inbox. And even then I still couldn't pay until 2 days after - I even called Uhaul and they couldn't take my payment because the system still didn't show my invoice. Overall, it seems like the systems and processes that Uhaul has are fragmented.Konstantin G.
