When we drove up to the U-Haul drop off, after having the trip from hell, the guy inside saw us pull up, and switched the open sign to closed. With an hour wait on the time. We sat there, for an hour. Listening to him cough... watching him walk out, get in the golf cart, drive off... come back, go inside and start coughing again. After the hour-long wait, he walks up to the U-Haul and begins the checkout process. We tell him a bit about the terrible trip. He doesn’t show any concern about our problems (claims he can’t do anything because it’s not an actual U-HAUL location, just a vendor), only that he’s not going to charge us for the cat shit smell in the back that we were not responsible for. NOT GOING TO CHARGE US FOR OUR COMPLAINT! But he does charge us for the 15 extra miles that the U-Haul had. (Funny, since we had to relocate because of problems with closer U-Haul drop offs) Shitty exclamation point to a horrible trip!!!!!!!!!!

The truck was not fully safe, there was a wind hole somewhere in the window or door and it was whistling the whole trip. scary and frustrating.

The passenger side windshield wiper wasn’t working and with the marine layer in the morning I wasn’t able to wipe the moisture off the windshield (had to get out). Also the driver side door had to be slammed in order to get it shut properly. Both need to be fixed ASAP.

I reserved a truck and received confirmation of the rental from the location, however when I went to pick the truck up I was told that they didn’t have a truck available and sent me to another location. The man working at the counter was unable to give me a correct address of the new rental, however after I searched on Google, was able to find the correct address (he kept saying the address was Hoove, however it was really Huff), he was rude and said that he tried to call, but was unable to get the address. When I arrived at the new location the man working was first unable to find my reservation, however found it after going through the system a bit. I called and spoke with Kristina at the corporate number given, and she assured me that she would credit me for the day that was lost, due to the help I had arranged was unable to help because it took so long to figure out the truck out. She said if I had any issues to call her at ?(623) 246-5882?, when I called I just received a voicemail and never got a call back. When I did finally get the truck, it had about 1/8 tank of gas and so I had to immediately go fill it up. When I dropped the truck off this evening, they still charged me an additional $60 for the extra day that was supposed to have been credited by Kristina. When at the location this afternoon I called and spoke with Brenda, and she said I’d be credited what they charged me.. however I’m not very confident that I’ll be receiving a refund for what was promised, the extra day rental. I’ve used Uhaul for 20 years, but I’m not sure I would use you guys again. Moving is stressful enough alone, but this has added so much extra stress and it just seems a very unprofessional way to do business.

Such a pleasant experience, the truck was ready and waiting for me. And the gentlemen who helped me was friendly and accommodating, making sure that I had everything I needed for my move. Even gave me the opportunity to upgrade and offered alternate drop off locations. This helped make my move much easier and put my mind at ease knowing that I still had options if any unforeseen obstacles came into play. Thank you so much.

He saw note on paperwork but would not give me $16 credit. He said to call customer service. I told him I did nothing wrong and if I do not automatically get credit that I will disbute whole amount with Chase credit card.

Need transparency and clarification. The manager of the facility said they were closed when we dropped off and said it was the 4th time this month a customer had dropped off at that location after hours. It should not be the customers job to know all this information. I will follow the rules if I’m aware of them. Seems like U-Haul keeps information from the customer hoping that they will do the wrong thing so then the customer can be overcharged for extra miles or late drop off.
