Helpful enough to understand how to save life
Akinyemi AThis was a bad experience from start to finish. Our original reservation was for 8:30 a.m. - the truck was not available, so we were referred to this location at a 9:30 start. We had an appointment that took us from 9:30 until 11:15, so everything was delayed. We hadn't used the app before - the guy at the counter was not helpful in that regard. Figured out the app by ourselves, and when we turned in the truck keys early, we didn't realize there was anything left to do. We got home and checked to see the balance, but it appeared as though the truck was still checked out. We called customer service, and they tried to reach the location, but no one answered the phone and the voicemail was full. It was raining at this point, and getting dark. I had to go back to the location later that night and tried to use the app to close out the rental. Although I had a picture of the mileage, I couldn't upload it from my phone - I had to use the camera exclusively, although I no longer had access to the actual truck as it had been turned in. It was a mess. Didn't appreciate having to take photos of the truck in the dark and in in the rain, and no one seemed to care about the process. Rotten app, bad instructions from the location, bad experience.

I was having a little difficulties with the app, but they help me along the way I called them they didn’t sound annoyed they were like very friendly. Helping me along the way then to come out and find out that my brother left his wallet there in the car. His employee went there and he was very honest he found it nothing was missing in the wallet, honest employee and I will recommend them to everybody including my friends like I said at the last minute I need a U-Haul. I always pass by there and I knew it was there, but I did not think that it would be so easy for me they help me out to the end … customer if I have to do it again, I’ll do it again and I read them recommend to everyone including my friends and family

NATHAN SAfter going to two different locations further to my home, i was directed to Elverton location. Closer to home and the service was great. The guys were helpful and professional at all times. This will be my location of choice for all future rentals.

Nic ATruck drives rough. The pictures didn’t match the actual truck. Pictures look like they were taken when it was brand new it had a lot of cosmetic damage both inside and a lot outside.

Gerard HI requested no insurance but They charged me $100 for insurance ,and its not the first time
hany SI have used many uhual locations and did not have a great experience here. The location I usually use did not have any vans available so I tried this one. I was charged a fee of $25 for insurance that I did not agree to. I did not register for it on the app and when my wife went to pick it up was not asked if we wanted to add it to our list of items. It was just charged. Also when picking up the van they had to call someone on a phone that was not there and he had to approve my wife using the van and was asking her questions rather than the employee working in front of her. We use the vans/trucks often for decoration jobs so this was not a great experience!

Douglas WWe discovered after loading up and were driving that the sliding door would not lock which is a security issue. The left turn signal did not go on which was a safety concern. We were offered to swap the vehicle but that accommodation came too late for us to take advantage of. It was a 24 hour rental for us so we took extra precautions like assigning staff to watch vehicle when parked. And having someone follow the van while driving. And finally returning the van early (12 hours). It’s a great location but needs a little more TLC.

MICHAELF JThere was no one there to greet or process. We needed to call a phone number and do everything over the phone. Although the process was smooth, it was a complicated one. I’m addition, I was sent to this location from the original one I had booked a vehicle from (3.6 miles away in the opposite direction I needed to go) so I needed to be charged for additional mileage and gas consumption. At the first location, I was told they did not have my vehicle and instead of providing me with another they made me call Uhaul customer service (on hold for 10-15 min) and they told me to go to another location. In all it ate away 30 min from my time which was no provided to me as the deadline time to return the vehicle was the same
