Nobody was around and the place was locked up during "service" hours. Hard to recommend when no one was there to provide service. I did not like checking in the truck on line, your stores need to have someone there during service hours.Kent B.

The on-line reserving was kind of a joke. I looked to find places with a 26' unit available and found one at the Grants Pass location, so I reserved it. 3-4 days later I got a call saying the nearest 26' foot van was in Myrtle Creek which is quite a long way (1+ hours) from my home. Luckily, everything fit in the available 20' unit, but what if it didn't? What is the point of signing up and reserving on-line and then not be able to get what you reserved? Better system needs to be in place. Other than that, the locations and people were very helpful and polite.Barbara C.

Buyer beware: Don't rely on the gas gauge or the guide they give you for how many gallons to put in the tank, to replace the gas back to the original level. The form said to put in 20 gallons to raise the level from empty, back to half full. I put in 20 gallons, and it filled the tank completely. At $3.25/gallon I just gave away $30 of gas to Uhaul, and they don't refund you for returning the truck with extra gas.Joanne L.

The different location I picked up my trailer rental did not have the two sets of furniture pads I requested so I had to go to this second location for one set of pads. While the clerk was pleasant, when I opened the pads, I found one pad to be very wet and at least two others to be quite damp. Consequently I was not able to use the pads and could not recommend this dealer. . I have requested a refund for the one set of pads from the dealer were I dropped off the trailer and both sets of furniture pads. .Martin S.
Only problem I had was that the truck smelled like Pot in the back end. They should at least have aired it out. Very strong and not very pleasant. Truck was good, service was good-nice people to work for--need to think about oversight on the smell thing.JAMES ARTHUR S.

The price per mile is pretty spendy considering you are already paying for gas. Would have liked it to be more affordable especially since the COVID has created a already tight budget. With all the additional fees for a quick trip can break the bank. Possibly a refund on the additional insurance if the vehicle is returned in good condition, you didn't use it so should be refunded. It look me about 30 minutes to pickup my truck using the online check in and yet I was asked to have the truck back by 3:30 this worked out ok for me but I wondered why my 4 hours didn't start at the time by pick up was complete. . The windows were spotty and the back was not quite broom clean but I didn't mind.Lenay S.
I've been told that usually there is a broom in the back of the vehicle for cleanup, I had no such broom and so was charged a cleaning fee of something that I could have done myself in 25 seconds if I simply had the option of a broom available.Jason T.

My overall experience of the location the crew and the lovely associate Dave who helped today was so extremely helpful, kind and professional. As a customer, who is in the position to need to obtain a rental vehicle the situation is always slightly stressful. Went to pick up my uhaul at the location I chose, they told me that they didn't have the truck and my rental was scheduled for a pickup across town. I was late and the guy was rude, ended up costing me $14 more than what I was quoted when I made the reservation. They guy at the drop off location was rude also.STEPHEN K.

Joe, at Elite, was awesome! When vehicle was returned in Carson City, the mileage had a few miles over, which was due to an accident just before Susanville with an anticipated delay of 5 hours. Therefore, my nephew had to backtrack and take an alternate route to get to Carson City.Barbara C.

I was pleasantly surprised with the technology U-Haul has integrated into the rental process: I was able to process my reservation completely online, called customer service to make a change, and used the mobile app to add/update my agreement prior to pick up--and all of it meshed together seamlessly!Ron S.
