Location was great. However, I did not appreciate being charged $10 for gas when the needle dropped slightly under the full needle. That was trivial and would look at other competitors other than Uhaul

My only complaint is that I had very few choices for the drop-off. My U-haul storage facility was 35 minutes away and my house was another 45 minutes away

The workers are a group of young teens who were busy talking and worrying about the guys in the back I did the new truck share on smartphone and still had to go inside and wait a long time. The dolly I reserved was not in the truck so I had to go back inside and ask for it. Was brought 2 rolling carts instead which was not easy to get over certain areas of my home. I returned the check and again had to wait a long period I was told everything was good to go and they asked if I need a copy of my receipt I declined as I had access to the app. I left my personal w again in the truck so I called and asked them to hold for me to pick up next day. A few hours later both of my contacts were called and told that I didn’t pay and an investigation would be started for theft ect. I was never contacted about this. I returned the next day to get my wagon and nothing regarding payment was brought up. I asked if everything was ok because my account was charged yet my contacts were called. They pulled up my account and said there was an additional $40+ that was needed so I paid it. I will never return or recommend this location to anyone horrible horrible experience!!!

This was very far from the requested pickup location. Location had wrong fuel marked, truck was very very beat up. Wipers broken, wheel had mud caked on, also it was just far away.

As soon as we got into the truck large amounts of dog hair started to fly all over the place. After driving with the windows down trying to fix the hair problem my wife began to have an allergy attack so we had to circle back to my personal vehicle to get towels and cleaning supplies. I’m thinking is just this location because the normal place we go to, he’s always out there detailing the vehicles I will be calling not only about the nasty vehicle but as well as being over charged.

My reservation was “lost” because they didnt have the size i booked Then i took a 15ft and told them i need it for two days and they told me it was ok. Next day at noon they called me asking to bring it back bc they were busy……really? Got called again a couple hours later We returned it that evening, a half day early. Next day they called me AGAIN asking where the truck was. Oh i never checked the lock box today the phone operator said…..wow. What a joke. And i paid over $300 for a day and a half Nice

This review is not for this location. The location itself had nothing wrong with it, but my overall uhaul experience this time was god awful. I originally had my pickup location set not far from my home. Uhaul then decided to change my pickup location to over an hour away from where I live with no notification. When I arrived to the changed location, an HOUR away from my original pickup location, I was informed that the location NO LONGER EXISTED. After driving around Austin in traffic all Thursday evening and sitting on the phone with customer service for an hour, I was then told to pick up the Uhaul from the Elgin location which was an hour in the other direction. I was only given FIFTY DOLLARS for my trouble. Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never had an experience with uhaul like this before. In my opinion, $50 is not the proper compensation for making me drive well over 140 miles to find the uhaul I ordered.

We ordered moving equipment like boxes and moving blankets with this truck and this location had absolutely nothing there and just cancelled all those items when we got there. It would have been very helpful to find that out well before we had to move the next day.

The U-Haul was not working properly when we picked it up. We tried to return it, we were told it was operating properly. We kept the U-Haul and called the U-Haul road side assistance. The mechanic was able to fix the issue so we could use it safely. All U-Haul dealers should test drive the unit prior to rental

Twice I have reserved a truck and received a call the day before that it was not available. Both times I had to drive a long way to pick up another smaller truck that was available. I most likely will not use Uhaul again and have been a customer for years as I move frequently with my job. I am an organized person and have movers scheduled to pack and unpack trucks and this throws everything off. Maybe you need to update your scheduling system and do not schedule vehicles that you don’t have. Also the day we left my husband noticed two larger trucks at a nearby location which we were told they did not have. Because we received a smaller truck we were not able to load All of our furniture. Now we will have to make a separate trip to move the remaining items. I would hope that Uhaul would offer an additional vehicle complementary so that we can move the remaining items that were not included on the smaller truck that we receive.

I made a reservation online. I chose one way, I chose a certain time to pick it up, I chose I’d need it for 12 hours. None of those things were correct on my reservation. Luckily I noticed the mess up. So I called customer service to get it all fixed. The lady on the phone told me she changed everything to exactly how I wanted it. Day came to get my uhaul, nothing was correct AGAIN. So I had to drive 45 minutes BOTH WAYS out of my way to a different uhaul place. My lease was up that day. I got lucky that a uhaul was available because if not I was screwed due to the website being faulty and customer service lying to me and not fixing my reservation like they said they did.

My reservation included a dolly, which I found out was not available at the time of pickup. Apparently this location has only one dolly and was unsure if it had been returned after the last time it was rented. I had to use a dolly from a friend in order to complete my move. This location has multiple trucks and seems they should have more than one dolly in inventory, or there should not be the option to reserve the equipment if it is not available. Also found it odd to see political propaganda advertised next to the rental truck parking area.

The actual Uhaul Share App experience was AWFUL -- wayyyy too many steps for the average user to walk thru, and of course, all contingent on a decent cell service area. Terrible really. Truly need to rethink it from top to bottom. Can't the algorithm make risk assessments to ease user experience?

Truck rented for 550 mile trip. Truck was low on oil. Power steering oil cap was missing. No packing blankets were available although they were reserved. Clerk said they had just been rented to another customer. Where is my $50 for a failed reservation?

get some company other than U-Haul to work with the Store. The store was great but did NOT have blankets as requested. The UHaul regional rep changed the location and did not tell me until AFTER I went to the first location and did not send an amended email until after I called him. UHAUL SUCKS!!! Plus the truck roof leaked onto my furnishings!!!

U-haul Good morning. I need a call from a Manager of Customer Service and our billing Immediately to resolve a billing mistake. I rented a 1 way rental from Porltand to Euege, Oregon and have charged $4,972 for a wrong drop off fee. I rented the truck from the UHaul Tigard Oregon location 11552 SW Pacifc HWY, Tigard, Oregon 97223 on Tues 7/27 a7 10AM. Cleay stated I would return the truck to the Eugene, Oregon location at 4400 Franklin, Blvd Eugene OR 97403 on Thurs 7/29 at 10AM PST. The turkc was return clean and and with a full tank of gas. Upon arrival at the Eugene location I was told I had the "wrong Truck" The Manager told me not to worry. 2 days later I logged into my US bank account and saw the $4972.00 charge on 7/30/2021. Worse, I called the Tigard location this morning 8/2 and asked for help to correct my bill and was told by Larry Hall the Store manager that this was not his problem, It was the Eugene store location. I explained I am the customer and should not have to work to correct a billing mistake. I have called the Eugene location multiple times and been put on hold for 20 mins. I would like to commend Chris and Jeanette at Storage Plus of Taylor. Our initial reservation was there, but the customer who rented the equipment we reserved prior to us never returned it. Chris and Jeanette went above and beyond to get us replacement equipment to make our move possible. Kudos to them!
