Completely unprofessional. Charged me (told me to â€œcash appâ€ him after I paid everything on my card) to load my vehicle on the tow dolley and then did it incorrectly. One of the straps was completely off my tire and the other was loose by the time I got home. Never mentioned I had to check the straps and tighten them if necessary every time I stop while on the road. Terrible service.Fernando S.
Rene at the Airport Road and Souix street location made a series of various parculiar mistakes that questions his intentions. I visited his office too many times since day 1 delivering two debit cards from two different bank accounts. On one occasion I asked my bank merchants for permiyto overdraft my account of $500 just to make sure the fees, mileage, deposits, and environmental and convenience fees were paid. It the mistake of Renee that the fees were not fully collected on the first day of the transaction. He displayed behavior of suspicion And accusation. On the second day after renting the Silverado pickup truck from U-Haul he contacted his Superior and had a conference with him on speakerphone while I was present and they spoke of what my intentions were as if I was in the third party sense. I felt insulted. There was people contacting me from other U-Haul locations in El Paso claiming to be managers also questioning my intentions with the Silverado pickup truck. It was brought to my attention that it is a new truck with very few mileage on it. I was not able to complete my tasks of moving furniture two storage and looking for an apartment because of all the interruptions requests of my presence and accusations of not paying what was due. I also reported to the Northeast location by request of a female manager of name I do not recall as she demanded that I returned the truck to the Northeast location and then was charged $250 for returning it to the wrong location. After speaking with Renee on the second day and his supervisor I was told to go and put money on a go to bank card and was told to go find a merchant/store to deposit $240 on. During the 3 hours that I was looking for a merchant Renee ran my credit card debit card three times at 5:08 p.m. 5:09 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. without authorization. On the 3rd or 4th date of renting this U-Haul truck manager demanded that I go to the Northeast location I arrived at 5:00 she was not supposed to get off of work till 7:00 and was not present at the time that I arrived. There wasn't individual that said he was 18 manager and he was a young man I don't recall his name at the Northeast location that said he needed to take the truck away and began to show me a receipt of five over $500. I have photos of that receipt and he did not supply me with a receipt in hand or email. Renee at the zoo Street airport road location did not supply me with a contract in my hand or email and did not have me sign that contract of which I received later through an email by one of the receptionist who also called me harassing me on the 3rd or 4th day. The Northeast location began to tell me that I needed to go ahead and keep the truck and return it to the Sue Street airport road location but I could not do that until Monday because it is closed over the weekend. I'm sure if you if you check your security cameras you will see that I was present and I was just and I was in tears and I had my emotional therapy pet with me which was a cat. The cat actually got lost in the store he was loose look for him in the store clerks helped me look from which was four people looking for this cat. It caused emotional stress on my cat it caused emotional stress on me and the staff was also in confusion as to why I was so upset. I received a phone call saying that I did not show up on that afternoon after a female manager told me to go to that Northeast locations and file a complaint against renee. I had the truck for 7 days total in the end of reception is called me the female manager that was supposed to meet me on Friday afternoon at the Northeast location was listening and I could hear her in the background the reception it was very kind very patient and sent me copies of my contract and receipts through email successfully in an expedient manner. However the manager in the background was still rude shrewd and on Monday the main supervisor for the Northeast location told me she was going to report the truck I stolen and take the appropriate actions to retrieve the vehicle which means she was accusing me of having a stolen vehicle. On the last day that I had the truck I was able to find an apartment and moved my stuff from storage to the apartment and still was receiving phone calls. I decided to call a 1-800 number to customer service and found that that was a location also in El Paso as U-Haul agency seems to be a very small entity and everyone is very well acquainted with each other. By the last day everyone had ridiculed past judgment and had already had their mindset about the individual that I was which was very negative. I found that my bill was only $180 besides the deposit that I paid which was supposed to be $156 and Renee only charged me $126 of it then charged me $30.62 twice which would have allowed me to keep the truck for an additional day. I am very displeased with the actions of the staff at U-Haul locations in El Paso I returned the vehicle to the Northeast location after hours as to avoid confrontation and ridicule from the staff. I took pictures I cleaned the truck I washed the truck took photos of the mileage and I deposited the keys into the Dropbox shortly after 7:00 p.m. when the staff was off duty. Location was close before closing hours. Did not have a sign if hours of operation were different due to Holidays, so no way of knowing if it was safe to leave trailer. Took several pictures for record cause surrounding looked sketchy and there was no possible way to secure trailer because there were lock-chains avoiding customer to put inside with other Uhauls. Really disappointed and most definitely will never return equipment/trailers to that place.Erika M.

First I was told to drop off at another location because the uhaul was dirty. Said I wouldn't do that I had a plane to catch. Then I was over and over I was getting charged $25 for not cleaning the uhaul. The guy asked for the contract and could not show me anything about it. Person who helped me kept changing locations and plans without specifically telling me until the total came up $100-$200 more than originally quoted. Had to keep telling him to switch back to the original drop off location and remove insurance cause he kept adding it back onto my total when anything changed. Shouldn't have had to monitor every step of the checkout process to make sure my total was accurate.JAY M.

The first place of pickup was good until they hooked ip the trailer with a broken strap...then they hooked up another trailer with a flat tire that I had to telll them about. After spending an hour1/2 at that location they sent me to another location that had a trailer that was ready to go...that along with the drive took ,another hour. I lost 3 hours I planned on being on the road back ti Colorado from Texas. This was not good business. The truck hadn't been cleaned or sanitized for the road I would never recommend pick up at the location of 6412 Airway Rd...what a bad experience.KEVIN C.
I just wanted to know what's the point of doing a reservation online to save a truck, from a specific location , when they won't have it and give your truck away that you reserved. My whole experience with UHaul was atrocious! Upon arrival, received a call that my truck was not available?? Got the call in my Uber on the way to pickup location. I paid for two flights for help for this project only to not have my confirmed reservation upheld. Had to Uber to a different location to pick up smaller truck. Agent suggested smaller truck with trailer, not an option based on items needing to move. So, took smaller truck, loaded what I could and now have to pay for remaining item to be moved (over $1K). ASKED FOR MANAGER CALLBACK NUMEROUS TIMES, CHECK MY RES NUMBER! This was a total disaster by UHaul! Today is Monday, 5 days after requesting several manager call and still nothing. PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE DISPUTING THE CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD UNTIL I GET RESOLUTION!BRIAN C.

The trailer was full of sand and dirt. The owner was not there for pick up time, had to sit and wait about 30 minutes. On the drop off day the shop was closed and the owner did not answer his phone. The location has a clear billboard sign but the office itself was not clearly marked and we couldn't figure out where to enter. The employees from next-door were able to point us in the right direction, but the office was locked.The personnel is in and out and is not always there during business hours. We called and were told that they would be there until 6 but there was no body there and we could not get through by phone, calls kept going to voice mail. Very kind and friendly people. However, from what the associate told me the owner has two locations and the main business is a car dealership. The boss is the single point of failure when it comes to returning equipment and issuing receipts. If you have multiple businesses then you cannot be the only one who can return equipment and issue the customer a receipt. The associates there tried their best, we're cordial, and tried to provide everything I needed but at the end of the day, I needed a receipt for the U.S. Army to reimburse me. I turned it in on Monday and it took till Thursday to get a receipt. This is after multiple times calling, no answer; visiting and no one there during the posted business hours; and multiple times being told that the boss will email and call/text me when it's sent. The current standard of returning procedure is to log your e-mail and name on a pad of paper. This is part of the problem. The second and most critical part is the associates there need to be trained how to return equipment in the system so my trailer isn't in limbo for four days! The Uhaul 1-800 number couldn't do anything to help me out because they hadn't returned the equipment in the system. If this problem persists it will only get worse from here. I try my best to be fair and honest. I hope this helps fix the issue.Collin W.

Location did not have supplies to purchase equipment reason for that is they just started with u-haul. They were not knowledgeable with equipment. But overall they were polite and respectful.
