This was the second location after a disaster with the first reservation. The day before I was supposed to move, I woke up to a text message that the pick up location had been moved from Congers, NY (15 minutes from my house) to Monroe, NY (60 minutes from my house), with no way to get that far. Plus I would have incurred additional mileage and gas. Never. do. that. to. a . customer.Christopher W.

I included in my return comment that truck needs to be serviced due to a leak. I guy a frantic call back from agent questioning why truck is not drivable. When picking up a truck, do not rent a vehicle with less than a 1/8 tank... Uhaul should fill up the tank to a meaning safe level before renting ...Fyi- I drove approx two miles and the "need gas light" went off. [...it did not matter I was given a $20 credit when I picked up the vehicle... nor that I was instructed to not return the vehicle below 1/4 full.] After picking up the truck, I becamed worried that I would run out of gas before getting to a gas station. ..then mistakenly I over filled the tank because I returned it almost 7/8 full and did not get any more credit... Spoke to Uhaul staff...about the overfill. Initially told there would be a further credit issued...then later customer service[ after waiting 1 hr. to speak with a rep.] was next told a further fuel credit would need to be approved by regional management ....told I would get a call and email to confirm....never received a followup call or explaination. So ..make sure the gas tank is full before renting....and explain not to over fill the tank because you will not be compensated of over filling.. You app is crap. It's slow, buggy, and required additional information that isn't handy at pickup. It actually slows down the process and is less convenient. The whole concept needs to be rethought from the customers point of view. Both sites and people were top notch. But I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone that has to do self pick up.Phil A.

Attempted to use the app on my iPhone to complete the pickup process, but it was glitching and gave me a blank white screen with no options other that to â€œDismiss â€œ. I was able to work around by using Safari browser but the whole process was still not great. After having issues in the past I brought my passport and other documents to â€œverifyâ€ my identity, but it still required took 5-10 minutes of waiting for verification after all photos and documents were uploaded. There should be a way to all of this in advance before I am standing out in the cold waiting for cyber approval from another continent (?) while my rental time is ticking away!Daniel J.

It all went smoothly! Only minor thing is that when the gas tank doesn't start at full, it's hard to fill it up to the right amount. I ended up putting in about $20 extra dollars worth of gas because the guy didn't stop the pump in time. It wouldn't have been an issue if I just had to fill it to full.CYNTHIA R.

My contract said to replace fuel to 1/8 and I confirmed via phone with Katiffany that I wouldn't be charged the $18. During the mobile return process, I was charged $18 plus tax which is contrary to what my contract stipulated.Susan J.

Pros - trailer was there liked the 50.00 dollar guarantee Cons - Owner never looked up or greeted us. He was smoking a cigarette and just asked for I.D. credit card. Place was very small basically mechanic shop. He finally smiled when taking picture of trailer hitch connection and explained that people were removing them and reattaching losing the trailers.Ruben A.

Nothing. This location is the best uhaul location I have ever dealt with. I rent vans and trucks from uhaul up to 20 times a year and have had to go elsewhere when I needed more or different equipment than is at this smaller location. Never as seamless anywhere else. So I guess that it would be better if they had at least 2 vans at all times to rent.RAYMOND D.
