It’s a very negative experience, I went there with my grandchildren, and we’re standing in front of a counter with drug paraphernalia, and a person standing behind a wall that I can’t even see their face when we picked up the equipment. Your equipment as usual is excellent however, there was blankets boxes and items left inside the trailer The user from the last user. The drop off location, which was Palm Harbor is as usual. Excellent your personnel or fantastic. Very helpful a very clean and professional location. I would not recommend my pick up location to anyone.
Jose PTrailer was dirty inside, had to clean it out myself. Rental guy kept complaining about how is printer did not work so he could check out customers of his convenient store. Then when is did get to me he said he would just email me the paperwork...so he was not printing anything. Spent or half an hour waiting for him to get back to me so I could leave...

Edward MExterior of building was a bit scruffy, but the gentleman working was very friendly and efficient. I was complete with the rental drop off in 5 minutes at the slowest, with out feeling rushed.

Jess FThe truck was not in good mechanical maintenance, it consumes too much fuel. My experience was the first and will be the last with uhual. For the next time I will use another company whose trucks are in better condition, who use diesel and whose delivery process is not so complicated. And I give you a suggestion, have a 24/7 customer service number where people, not computers, answer.

Elisha DThis U-haul center is part of the Economart convenience store and who I am assuming is the owner is fantastic! He let me use his really nice store dolly because his location doesn’t always have the add-on equipment available! He was also very friendly and pleasant and I would recommend this location to anyone in the area. I also want to say that 2 years ago, when I first moved to Gainesville, I had a car trailer on my 26’ truck and I panicked and didn’t know where to drop it off the night I arrived (to get it out of the way) as all the U-Haul stations were packed! I saw this place and just left it in his parking lot and called the next morning to apologize for the random trailer and he was the nicest person about it! Didn’t even seem to care that I dropped it off smack in the middle of the little parking lot!? I didn’t know what I was doing. Anyway, he is a gem and my experience was great!

Danae PI called to get an appointment for SafeTow which was confirmed. I went inside and told the owner I was there. I waited more than 20 minutes and he still hadn't come out so I told him I needed to leave, he said that's fine I'll take care of it, but my reservation was canceled. I started a new reservation. Apparently he's the only person working and running UHaul and a convenience store at the same time. When I came back, it took another 30 minutes because he had to run around to different sides of the store looking for my reserved trailer, then move trailers around to get to the trailer I reserved. He moved heavy trailers in flip-flops. When I told him the license plates didn't match my reservation he said it's fine just go I'll take care of it. I got an email later that night to find he had added insurance which I had declined. I had to talk to two separate departments to try and get the insurance removed who gave me different answers about whether it could be removed or not. It was finally removed a few days after I returned the trailer, neatly cleaned unlike when I picked it up when it had a couple handfuls of sand inside it. If I made a reservation, I expect my trailer to be accessible and ready to go. This rental experience was frustrating and a big time suck.

James CWe were notified that the original location didn’t have the size truck we requested & we’d need to go to a further location. It was called EconoMart & it was awful. The guy/owner(?) was very nice but not enough to make up for our experience. From lack of communication, filthy store, filthy truck (first truck we declined had inches of debris - dirt & gravel - that hadn’t been cleaned out), another dirty truck (we accepted as we had no choice), the gas amount was not correct (truck had 1/8 & paper print out showed 1/4 - when we questioned this was told no big deal to just take pic & show to drop off store), didn’t receive emails (no texts) with paperwork or link until hours later & in meantime we took pics of everything to cover ourselves. Truck worked great - no problems. At drop off store we were asked why we didn’t complete online info (pics, etc) and we explained what happened at pick up store & that we had to take pics (we had them on phone & could show when we took them) & they said we owe $16 for gas difference. That was final straw - we did exactly what we were told & it wasn’t good enough. We’ve rented these trucks for the past 40 years & could not believe we had such a horrible experience. This is why we always book with an actual Uhaul center/store as opposed to someone who has a side hustle.
Michael SPlease let me know the hours. I got in 8:30-9:00pm but it was closed. I could no get the jack high enough to clear the ball. In the morning the man running the show came in and made it work. Thank you, Not Applicable Would you recommend this location to a friend?
