I rented a dolly. When, I called and spoke to the Receptionist, I inquired about the price ? I was told $10.00 dollars for 1 full day and return next day, by 2:00 p.m.. False ADVERTISEMENT, I ENDED UP PAYING $20.00. ITS $10.00 WHEN YOU RENT A UHAUL TRUCK. THE SIGN SHOULD BE REMOVED. THANK YOUSylvia S.

Thwmw ac was not working properly it was supposed to be on am full blast and it was barely coming out. And there was heat coming up from underneath the dash as if the heater was on blowing full blast. It was very uncomfortable driving felt like I was in a heater.Dixie U.

Hi.buenas tardes referente ala renta de la van me aparesia que le faltaba que le hicieran el cambio de aceita ya que me sentia un poco inseguro por que iva estar cargada la van y neesesitava manejar el el freeway ustedes pueden verificar que no miento la van tenia la luz prendida de oil change ...referente ala senorita que me atendio ,nesesita tener mas costumer service , espero bolver a rentar sus cervicios pero con una mejor opsion de carro en mejores condisiones ya que es por seguridad de ustedes y del costumer muchas grasias lea agradesco por todo ,cualquier pregunta puedes hablarme acualquier hora 805 509 66 26MANUEL R.

The last was very rude ,arrived at 11 had problems did not know how to apply certificate,,at 15 min before 12 wanted to know if I could come bsck,she was hungry wanted to go to lunch ,upon return,called said I was on way got there 515 she came out side said park trek on street refused to co me in ,demanded key,but was not willing to co me in,and raged and screamed she would never rent to me again,very very rude,,nasty kind of scary,so my advice is go a extra mile to get a truck unless you want to get traumatized by a very very nasty and rude person,not to say she called several of times wanting to know when I was coming,,,she should not behind any desk and work with public,, she don't care and acts like it was a burden, DONT GO THERE. First of I was charged $30dlls for gas when I refilled to the exact level of gas that I was given, the old lady at this location is rude, demanding and not caring at all, I was reading reviews on line and I agree I think someone with authority should address herDiego V.
Location is pretty much a one-person operation with a service counter and not much else. Staff was a bit curt at first but did help us check in the truck without any hassle. Location is fine for dropping off equipment but I would probably go to a different location to rent a truck and pick up supplies.Debra O.

The only problem these folks had was with U-Haul's computer system. It was so clunky that it didn't work forcing me to wait while they called to process my transaction. Get it together U-Haul HQ!ROBERT B.

We returned the rented truck early and the office and gate were locked and nobody was available, not even on the phone. A message was left and not a phone call was returned. The employee failed to tell us that the gate code was written on the receipt. Just unfriendly and bad service.eunice C.
I called the office and made a resv for a truck and a utility dolly using my c/c. 15min later they called me back and said someone else rented the truck online, and i would have to go to the saticoy facility and pick it up. I asked if i could also pick up the dolly there. They said yes. Well, the other facility didnt have a dolly. So i had to return to the SP facility and rent it there. When i arived the truck i wanted to rent was in the lot and when i complained, she didnt offer an apology and said it was U- Haul's fault. The office reeked of animal urine, dirty, clutered and the staff was unfriendly! I will glady drive 7 extra miles to rent from the ckean, friendy and proifessionsl saticoy office anytime.MICCY C.

Lady at the counter was rude and non friendly . I arrived at 2:50pm she said they closed at 3pm. Contrary to what list at 5pm. Felt very rushed didn't even get to review paper work in detail . I called today Monday to question about an erounous charge and she said I had to call u haul I mention she rushed me in the process but stated she couldn't do anything to resolve discrepancy.Naomi B.

Very hard to find a place to park the truck. I wasn't provided a code to enter the storage gate; so, I ended up having to leave the vehicle on the street. The area looks dangerous.Jonathan B.

I am waiting for a call from a supervisor. I am waiting for a refund. The cab of the truck was horrible- cat's had been peeing in it.. didn't notice at first but as the day heated up it was utterly disgusting. Absolutely horrific. I saw the cats and dog poop at the yard where we picked up the truck, I just didn't know they been pooping and peeing in the cab- that's why the windows were rolled down. This is not what U haul is typically like at all! YOU guys need to get out of that site, (and refund my $).Jacquie W.

I have never completed a review before but in this case I felt that it would be helpful to others interested in renting from this location. There was dog poop around the truck that had to be repeatedly dodged. I cleaned out the truck when I reached my first destination of the trash left behind from what I would guess was the previous renter. After being called to come and pick-up the truck earlier than the schedule time, I had to wait an hour for someone to come and help deploy the pin to drop the ramp on the tow toll. My movers from Santa Barbara sprayed wd-40 on it to help for future use. Ibn addition I asked if I could use a two credit cards to make my payment which I have done in the past without a problem and was told that it could not be done. This issue has created financial struggles that could have been avoided. Of all the rentals I have had with Uhaul this was by far the worst location I have ever seen.Teresa L.
The person who hooked the rented trailer to our vehicle neglected to lock the hitch. After we picked it up and were driving on the freeway, the trailer got dislodged, was only held by chains and started swaying from left to right. We almost caused and got in an accident if not for my husband being able to control the vehicle and the trailer. The employee should be more careful and ensuring that all necessary steps are done before releasing the equipment to the customers.Naty D.
