I used your phone system to rent a vehicle that was close to my house. I was told they didn't have a truck. You recommended another place in the hood. You told me the price on the phone sent me a reservation number. When I went to fill out paperwork online it came back no reservation. Then I call the place Uhaul recommended they said they didn't have a truck with a ramp for me. I call uhaul they said that the place were wrong and they called your vender to confirm the truck had a ramp. So when I finally get the correct information and arrive at the place you sent me the place has the front door shot out with bullet holes and a partial piece of plywood over it so you don't cut yourself. The plate glass on this former gas station is riddled with bullet holes. Reluctantly I go in and get the paperwork taken care of they print out the contract add on insurance which I didn't ask for. When I say something about it they say to they already printed the contract. I get into the truck it's filthy with who knows what on the seats. Graffiti is spray painted on the side. It has just over a quarter tank of gas in it. Which they say is 3/8's of a tank. I ask what kind of gas mileage the truck gets and was told 12-13 mpg. I drove ten miles total and ended up putting 2 gallons of gas in to get the gas gauge back to where it was. I took before and after pictures of the odometer and gas gauge for my record. This was one of most frightening experience I have ever had in my life. Your company put me in unnecessary danger by sending me there. To top it off when I drive by the place I wanted to go they have 5 trucks sitting on the lot. You have a terrible system that puts profit ahead of customer safety. I will never rent from you again. I have yet to receive the final bill from your vendor. I'm pretty sure it will be another uhaul disaster. I will make sure I that anyone who needs to rent knows of the experience uhaul provided to me. What a sorry way of doing business.GARY L.

I never received a receipt and the store owners were rude and unhelpful through the whole process. However, I did get the truck use it for its purpose and dropped it off. So I guess the task was fulfilledFrank L.
The truck was in a very sketchy location were I was even afraid to leave my own car. The truck smelled horribly!!!!! I got charged for cleaning fees!!!!??? I forgot to feel up gas, I understand that if you don't do that it will be completed by the company but the price was outrageous!! Bad EXPERIENCE!!!!!Yasmin B.

I tried to rent a trailer at 1750 E. Countyline Road Littleton Co. Went to the store and verified what was going on the trailer and what I was towing the trailer with and made the reservation for 1/7/21 8:30 am with your representatives approval. When I went to pickup the trailer the person at your store would not rent me the trailer saying it could not carry a vehicle that big. (i specifically went to that store to verify this before I reserved the trailer.) After spending over an hour at the store he verified I could use a dolly to tow the vehicle, but he didn't have one. The closest shop with a dolly was 20 miles away, (45 minutes in morning traffic.)the opposite direction. When I arrived at the other shop at 14TH Ave and Havana St. Instead of picking up the dolly and being on my way. It took another hour to rent the dolly because the person helping me couldn't get the computer signed on. Then when he did get the computer signed on he couldn't find the reservation or get the computer to accept the vehicle being towed. After spending almost 2 hours trying to rent a dolly I asked him if he could do some type of hard copy so I could rent the dolly and get on my way. He rudely said if its not done on the computer he's not renting it. At that point I called U-hauls corporate office for some help. The person who answered the phone took about 15 to locate the reservation. While this is going on the person at the counter still is not able to make progress. The person on the phone was finally able to locate the approved reservation and instruct the counter person on how to complete the rental. It took me less time (1 1/2 hours) to move the vehicle I rented the dolly for, than it did for the paper work. Which is ridiculous. When I went to make the reservation U-haul asked me more than 3 times what I was towing with and what I was towing. I did this so I could pick up my rental and be on my way. Then to show up and be refused my rental, with no option at that store to tow my vehicle was huge waste of my time. And then to send me across town in the wrong direction for 20 miles and 45 minutes and then spend over an hour to almost not be able to rent a dolly because the person at that store doesn't know how to run a computer and doesn't care if I get a rental, because its his way or the highway. U-haul took an hour and a half job and made it 4 hour job and from what I can tell your employees don't care. I took extra steps to make this rental as smooth as possible for me and U-haul and your people just smashed it and through it out the window. Horrible experience.Bernard L.

At first, the operator asked me for all my information, including credit card number. I pointed out that this was all done on-line, and then he realized that was correct. Apparently, I was supposed to get a number to access a key lock box to pick up the truck key, but I was not aware of any such number. But, the experience was otherwise fine, and everyone was polite and helpful.Robert L K.

Young kid I would guess to be possible 20 years old sitting behind counter playing game or occupied in some way with his phone during business hours. I spoke to him, hello I am here to turn in my rental truck. He said: â€œThe drop box is right there.â€ I said: â€œNo, you need to come out and check the truck out and inspect it. He wasn't too thrilled but got up and followed me out to the truck to inspect it. * I won't belabor the type of inspection he did or the lack thereof but basically I had to make sure certain things were at least observed and noted. Places that were on the truck at the time of pickup and the gas level at 1/4 tank, returned with the same amount or slightly more. All of that to say this, I will definitely use a different drop off location in the future if I rent another U-Haul for another move.Phillip K.
I had requested to rent a truck from a location directly across the street from me where I rent a storage unit I was clearing out, and where I have rented U-Hauls twice before over the last 8 months. On the morning of moving my rental location was moved to a location 1.5 miles from my house in a bad part of town. I had to make the half hour walk to pick up the rental where a young kid had to call someone off site to talk me thru the rental over the phone. I received the rental and upon getting in there was a very strong odor of urine radiating from the cab. I looked in the cup holders and it looked like dried liquid from what I surmised was a cup of urine someone had in the cup holder that had leaked. It was a 90 degree day in Colorado and my only option was to keep the windows down during the time I used the truck as the smell was unbearable. I have rented from U-Haul both trucks and storage units over the last 15 years and am generally very pleased with your services. This one was upsetting. Although you have not lost me as a customer, I just wanted to take a moment to share my experience. Thanks for your time.Ryan M.
Wow, what a fiasco. Ebenezer Auto Repair had my trailer sitting out front but repeatedly told me it wasn't mine and that they didn't know why UHaul kept sending me over there. They were rude and didn't care at all. I tried calling UHaul and kept repeatedly being put on hold until finally someone told me I just needed to go back over. That didn't work so I actually drove to the location at 8150 E. Colfax in Denver and spoke with someone in person. The person I spoke with is Robert and he was an absolute saint, thank you Robert. Someone from corporate needs to contact him and let him know how well he handled the situation. He had to cancel the existing reservation and create a new one for the same trailer so that I could take the paperwork he generated back over to the original location and basically tell them they needed to release the trailer to me. That finally worked and all they could say was "sorry, we've had some employee issues today." Again, they could not have cared less. In addition, the place was an absolute pit. The whole ordeal took me 3 hours and needless to say I was furious with UHaul but relieved I finally got my trailer for the trip we were taking the next morning. PLEASE do not utilize this location for customers in the future.Brady C.

Uhaul moved our original pick up location on the other side of town. Upon arrival to the new pick up location we were the only people in line and it took over 30 minutes to get the vehicle. When we went out to the 10ft box truck the gas was under the appropriate level and the check engine light was on. This isn't the first time I have received questionable equipment and sub par customer service with Uhaul. I will be using Ryder from now on whenever I need to use a box truck.Jacob M.

I had to wait for someone to show up after calling serveral times. I had call the office on Unita and colfax just to get information. I went to 1400 North havana St. Aurora Colo I was not happy with the service at all never really explained the contract to me was lied to about opening and closing me I would never go there again customers are not important there...Jeffrey B.

The truck needs an alignment bad. Truck started shaking and wobbling once it reached < 30-40 mph. Initially; it felt like the wheels were going to fly off, but eventually, the truck would settle after traveling a quarter mile or so going that speed. Just a recommendation for future families/users. Other than that, the truck ran great. Regardless, I appreciated the access and service of the truck. Thank you. - Matthew N. (21007678)Matthew N.

Be advised, this location is at a mechanic shop. If you're looking for a polished boxed store location, this locale isn't for you. Nacho treated me with respect and was patient to understand my needs. He was up front and very personable. Should I need a 10' box truck again, I will most assuredly use his service again. Very clean 10' box truck with a key drop box for after business hours return.Agatha P.
