Other than paying over $20 more in such a short amount of time, I am happy. I rent this same size truck 2 or 3 times a year, every event shows a ridiculous increase. You should have a program to keep frequent renters at a lower rate. Just saying wfjJOSEPH C.
When I picked up the truck it was running and I was told that it was dead when the agent first arrived in the morning. She said it had been running for a while and should be ok. I asked what happens if it dies again when it's full and ready to move to my destination. The truck "DIED" after it was filled to the door.....we jumped it, then it DIED at our destination. We were pulled into a driveway, between the house and a fence, facing downhill toward the back lot. No access for roadside assistance.to jump. UHAUL told me I SHOULD go buy a battery and then roadside could install it. They would reimburse me for the battery. When I told them "I dont have the time for this $#!+, they hung up on me. Fortunately, the third floor neighbor was home and he drove up the driveway from the lot and jumped us. We filled up again, then had to leave the truck running for 3 hours while unloading, drove back to load up again, truck running all the while, so then we decided to let it die and UHAUL can deal with fixing it. We ended up needing an extra day AND spent so much more on gas than we needed to had the truck run properly. NEVER renting from them again.Michelle C.

Location was not open at the reservation time (7:00 AM) however when I called, an associate arrived within minutes to open the store and process my rental. The trailer was fantastic! It was a new model with quick attach coupling.Christopher D.

very unorganized from the beginning. The general manager where I had the hitch installed was very nice but I wasn't given any details on how long the instal would be til I got there. The man who installed forgot the ball hitch- if I hadn't noticed I wouldn't have had it. The call to confirm, prices were not discussed at all through this process then I was told it was an 800$ charge. Lastly, the woman who attached the trailer did it incorrectly when she assured me it was, but an hour into my road trip one of the chains was completely off causing sparks. I just think it was all very unorganized and there was limited to no communication.Stephanie G.

I wish the 10 foot truck was available but the day of when I asked about the 10 foot truck parked out front, she said it was still unavailable. So I had to pay more for the 15 foot truck. I returned the truck a few hours later and that 10 foot truck had not moved. Makes me question whether I was pushed into renting a larger truck than I needed.martin W.

The UHaul website is awful. I returned the truck after hours and was instructed to do this on the website. I followed all instructions but the website crashed at least 4 times and each time I had to restart the entire process. It was very time consuming and frustrating. Definitely needs a lot of improvement and would think twice before renting from here again.Alayna K.

Up until the end of my experience, I would have given this business 5 stars, but it went south: the business wrongly charged me a gas refill fee. I rented a pick-up truck, which was new and clean. The desk staff was fairly friendly and the interior was clean and selling cute hand-made crafts. I used the truck for about 2 hours and stopped to gas it up at the gas station around the corner from the business immediately before returning it. I topped the tank off to fuel (by putting in one gallon), which was a bit more than actually necessary. I had done only local travel (~15miles, on a vehicle with 16mpg city). I called and inquired as to why the fuel charge ($7.50 for 2gal) was on my bill, and was told that I returned the vehicle with less gas than when I took possession. I explained that wasn't possible, that at a minimum I had returned it at least at an even fuel level (knowing that I had definitely returned it full), and was told that the gas was â€œmarkedâ€ on my receipt. Yes - an owner-generated form indicated I returned it with less, but that form was inaccurate. I explained that and was basically told tough luck. I understand that times are hard for businesses, but taking advantage of your customers is never a wise practice. Quick tip I learned: Take a photo of your mileage and fuel levels.AUDRA M.

The woman who helped me in store was wonderful. However, returning the truck through the website was awful. Trying to upload pictures for gas mileage, etc, didn't work, and I had to call in the return and waited for 45 minutes to speak to someone. But getting the truck, and the location we rented from was very good.SARENBRAE N.

I don't know where to begin. First, your customer service line is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I have not had a wait time less than 30 mins. You shouldn't ask for an email address if it is NOT going to respond to it right away, I finally realized the only way I was going to reset my password for after hours check out is using my cell phone - lost an hour of daylight, making it difficult to pack the truck in the dark. The truck leaked water, much of the furniture got wet! You charged me 20 dollars for after hours check-in, when I followed the directions until your website had a crash!! And 25 bucks for cleaning, which considering all the water that got in the truck I did a good job cleaning it out. I am considering contacting my lawyer to see if we should sue for damages, but I thought I would give your customer service a chance to reverse the 45 dollars in FALSE charges first.
