I don't know where to begin. First, your customer service line is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I have not had a wait time less than 30 mins. You shouldn't ask for an email address if it is NOT going to respond to it right away, I finally realized the only way I was going to reset my password for after hours check out is using my cell phone - lost an hour of daylight, making it difficult to pack the truck in the dark. The truck leaked water, much of the furniture got wet! You charged me 20 dollars for after hours check-in, when I followed the directions until your website had a crash!! And 25 bucks for cleaning, which considering all the water that got in the truck I did a good job cleaning it out. I am considering contacting my lawyer to see if we should sue for damages, but I thought I would give your customer service a chance to reverse the 45 dollars in FALSE charges first. Truck was dropped off on Sunday when this location was closed. Then a day later I was charged a â€œcleaning feeâ€ and â€œafter hours service feeâ€. The truck was cleaner than when we got it cause we folded all the blankets, that weren't folded when we got it. And â€œafter hours service feeâ€???? It was my scheduled drop off! Auto transport was in need of maintenance. Ratchets for securing the tire straps were extremely rusty and difficult to operate. Safety chain rubber straps were badly worn or broken . I was given a drop off location that no longer was associated with Uhaul and had to wait on hold for 1 hour to speak with someone to find out where to drop off the equipmentCharles H.
The U-haul representative at this location not only booked our rental, but she also replaced a questionable worn wiring harness on the tow trailer upon inspection, within minutes. She then proceeded to completely hook up the trailer to my truck, hitch, wires and safety chains without any assistance. She was very attentive and professional.
