The truck was not at the location indicated, it was across the street in a parking lot. Also the pads we had ordered with the truck were not included, which forced us to change our plans. The app did not work. The truck cab obviously had not been cleaned.

Improve staff, communication, and friendliness. The rudest staff team I have ever met and withheld by money from me because they didn't like my attitude. Also we're not wearing masks the entire tame. This location told me to basically shove it and call 811 if I want my refund. And don't worry, also informed AHS

Nice to have better customer service, better location. Second floor of an office building is not good to pick up moving blankets. Limited hours on the weekends (9-2 only) for returns so have to pay for two days

Innacurate pricing, and when returning the vehicle, the mileage field wouldn't allow me to enter the correct mileage, so I ended up paying way more. As well as the long wait in the building when picking up, and the poor experience with our reservations being cancelled after already being confirmed, almost completely ruining our moving day

1 I will not choose this location again. 2 I used UHAUL so many times in Kensington location. Very easy to pick up and drop key very comfortable. 3 when I pick the vehicle I didn't update on self check , because my mobile data got over . 4 when i drop (11.15pm 27-Apr)the vehicle my mobile switched off, so I can't able to take photos and upload the return self check out. Then I don't know the safety KEY drop locker number also. 5 my drop time is 09.00am 28-Apr ,again I reached to that location there office is closed at 08.50am 28-Apr, then I tried again one more time same day 08.56am to open the key safety locker. But can't able to open . 6 again I reached same day 10.00am to return my key. One of the front desk staff charge additional fee one day vehicle rent 20.00$. I request to cancel the extra charge. The staff says I didn't fill up the self check return online. So I have to charge. 7 when I picked up the time is 10.30am 27 Apr not even 24 hrs also , but I paid one day rent 8 so that's the reason I am not satisfied this location. Very very disappointed, thank you for your service.

I showed up 10 minutes early to do the mobile pick up. Because I was early the information I was getting was that my equipment wasn't there and I should be getting assistance. I panicked and thought something was wrong with my reservation. I would recommend the information tells you to wait until your exact reservation time. Or else don't instruct people to go 10 minutes early.

First time doing a full remote rent so it was a bit of a learning curve. The downtown location is convenient for me, but it took me a while to find the parking lot. The weather was awful, which made the online process difficult but I could have done it before I left home to pick up the truck. Would have appreciated an ice scraper in the vehicle for the windshield but I borrowed one from somebody in parking in the lot.

I had a great experience with the customer service rep working on Sunday March 28th when I picked up my rental. The after hours drop off was very easy and convenient. I never received a final invoice in my inbox from Uhaul. I will be calling to inquire about this

Great location, great staff. One thing to keep in mind is parking can be difficult in the area. The location allowed us to park for $9. That's reasonable considering you're right downtown.

I guess unless you knew that they parked the Uhaul vehicles across the road, you might get confused if you came to get a contactless vehicle. Not that I had a problem...maybe if someone was from out of town. No gripe...lol...just an observation!

Please supply an ice-scraper and brush during winter weather. I had brought my own, just in case, and it was a good thing I did so. The parking lot that the vehicle is stored is not well maintained (not the fault of the location, but of the owner of the lot, Impark). There had been a large snowfall the night before my rental and the lot was *still* not cleared by the time I returned it in the afternoon. I would suggest that the location manager pressure Impark to do a better job or find a new location to park rental vehicles. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

When I checked in, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. When I returned the truck, the office was already closed. The owner was outside and offered to do my mobile check and was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely rent from this location again!

The mobile pickup process was a bit confusing at first, but it was manageable. HOWEVER, the return process had issues. When I completed my check-in, the instructions to return the key said to put it in the drop-box. But this location had no drop-box, only a lock box that needed a key code. The return didn't display instructions for the return the same way it did for the key pickup. Thankfully, after a few attempts, I could guess the key code and put the key back. But that was definitely an issue for me. Please display the same lock box info on the return step! :)

It was hard to locate the office, there needs to be better signage to find it. I would've not known where it was if someone from the salon didn't show me because there is no indicators it's inside on the second floor.

The customer service was lovely and warm; I really enjoyed my experience with the staff. However, the location is so difficult to find and no signage. Also, there is a lockbox with a code to return you keys after hours. I was not given the code to the lockbox (or was not shown how to find the PIN anywhere). I was in the phone with Uhaul for over an hour after hours trying to return my keys.

Very specific description of where the office is located! "Above Dixon's pub" or "access the building from 9th Street" would be helpful to email/text out with the confirmation as, when driving down 9th Avenue, it looks like the address doesn't exist.

As per my second experience with this outlet, it was a great experience overall. Check-in and return went quickly and efficiently, and also the new office is looking better each time I've visited! There is a feeling of safety as well with respect to Covid19 as this outlet has several protective measures in place, including right at the door and also protective covering at the check-in desk. I was very satisfied overall, as usual. Would recommend this outlet to friends & family in the future

It was a positive experience, however it's always stressful renting from uhaul... what marks are pre-existing... could I be charged for this??? Do I have to go over the vehicle with a magnifying glass? I sent a photo of the marks I saw at pickup, but they weren't even mentioned at drop off. Location is amazing. Would use again.

Took forever to figure out the location and the steps to pick up the truck. Would have been nice to get some advice when booking as we had to extend time and incur an additional cost. The guys at the location were friendly but weren't wearing any uhaul branded clothing so it was sketchy when they came to collect the truck back as they saw I was completing my drop off. I also do undstand why uhaul could confirm my information in advance so I wouldn't have to wait for them to call someone else? Overall it's not $19.95 a day as the price costed me over $100.00. Probably look for something else in future and won't recommend.

This experience was phenomenal. I have rented from Uhaul each year for many years at several outlets around Calgary such as the Barlow or Kensington locations, and it is usually pretty decent. This new location just opened up, and is run by a pro. Even though the location is still somewhat under construction, the outlet manager ushered us in and got our paperwork and everything put through quickly and efficiently. We went out to do the vehicle walk-around right after, and then my partner and I were on our way. I was impressed at how he was able to handle us despite having to work with minimal office equipment set up (due to the ongoing construction) and answer all of our questions with ease. I would highly recommend this downtown location to anyone, and will definitely rent from this outlet again in the near future.
