Erika was fantastic at accommodating my needs. I made this reservation online nearly three weeks prior for pickup in Owensboro, my home location, where there are numerous pickup locations. I received a call from Erika the day prior (7/31) to pickup directing me to do so in Beaver Dam, which is 35 minutes away. I told Erika this was not acceptable. She did everything she could to secure pickup in Owensboro, and I even called 1-800-GO-U-HAUL to change pickup location - the lady I spoke to at the call center was rude with no interest in helping me find a solution. I called Erika back and she continued to follow-up with U-Haul to find other accommodations. She was unable to do so, so I picked up in Beaver Dam because that was my only option. Despite this inconvenience, Erika was able to offer me a larger truck and tacked on additional miles for my having to go out of my way to pick up the truck. Erika's customer service skills alone made this a five-star experience, in spite of the U-Haul call center's ineptness. .

I feel so fortunate to have done business with Lametta at the Easy Es Pawn Shop in Beaver Dam, KY. Lametta went WAY above and beyond to remedy an issue I had with my truck in order to haul a trailer back to Illinois. I can't ever remember having customer service so good! She restored my faith in humanity and deserves a lot of praise for her hard work and caring attitude. I HIGHLY recommend using this location. Super people!!

Get someone with a better attitude to manage your U-Haul’s these people are disrespectful and snobby as heck. Told them I couldn’t get off on time to get there and she just was like I was going out of my way to ask her to stay 30 minutes over her closing time. Left work early to get there when I got there she handed me the keys and didn’t walk me to my U-haul and left I had no Ideal what u-haul was mine or how to identify it. The U-haul itself wasn’t bad but my face to face experience was terrible.

I could not have asked for better service, ease of transaction, or clean equipment. I was extremely pleased with the manner in which I was treated. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Every question I asked was as if it was of extreme importance. I am very appreciative of how my transaction was handled.

This was a terrible experience. I had came to the store a week prior to inquire about renting a 20 Ft truck. I was told they didn’t currently have any and to call back on Wednesday, two days before I needed the truck. They told me they would have one for me and was told a note was made of this. I called back Wednesday and was told, yes they would be getting a 20ft truck and would be availabile on Friday. I was told to call back Friday morning at 9 to reserve since they couldn’t reserve the truck at that time. I called back Friday morning at 9 just as I was asked. I was told that they had a 20ft truck but it was rented to someone else. They had (2) 26 ft trucks and would rent me one since they didn’t have the 20ft. I agreed to this and was told it would be ready at Noon. I showed up shortly after noon. The lady that had helped me greeted me and told me that she had cleaned the truck real good for me and pulled it around for me. The owner, who was dealing with another customer, and sitting there cursing with the iPad. The lady helping me was trying to process the truck she had ready for me but the computer was having some difficulty. The owner came over at this time and asked how far I was going. I told her, which was about a 3 hour trip. She then said...”let’s give him the other truck since the guy coming in later is traveling further than he is”. Meaning...the truck the lady had prepared for me, which come to find out was a newer model, nicer, and got better gas mileage, was not going to be for me....because I’m only “going a few hours” away. I asked the owner why can’t I take the truck she had ready for me and is ready now. She rudely replied and proceeded to argue with me, cursing, and telling me that I didn’t have to rent there and can go to Rochester. I told her I was trying to do them a favor and keep my business local. The owner looked at the screen and said “ you’re only spending $300 dollars, it’s not like it’s so much money. I don’t make hardly anything on you.” I asked the owner then why do you even offer Uhaul rentals? Her reply then was “well I make 20% off them”. I just stopped saying anything at this point because she obviously couldn’t see the contradiction in this and I was going to continue being treated this way. Even with me remaining silent, she continued arguing. Saying she’s getting pissed off now. I told her that I wasn’t saying anything anymore and that she’s the one that just keeps talking. She proceeds to pull the dirty truck around that wasn’t prepared and made me wait while she cleaned it. And talked to other customers coming in during that process. I spent over an hour from start to finish in the shop trying to rent this. I had done everything that was asked of me to ensure I would have a rental when I needed it. The worker there was very kind and helpful. The owner made this experience very unpleasant, to put it kindly.

Service with a smile at this location would be appreciated. The trailer we rented had 1 damaged latch (of 2) on the folding ramp, and one inop side running light. Equipment insurance is not optional here like it is at other U-haul locations, it is mandatory. This location also tends to charge an equipment cleaning fee even when the equipment is returned PERFECTLY clean, like what happened to us in Nov 2018.... we did not appreciate that.

We were only allowed !7 hours of rental. Took truck at 4PM. I asked the associate two times if that meant I had it till 4 the next day. She said yes. I received an email that evening saying I was to return it ay 9 AM the next morning. So I was only able to carry one load. I am not a happy camper.

A lady named Lanetta was Great but the owner was a real Bitch ! And I was over charged I have my reciepts when I got to my destination in Wheatfield In. I was told I was over charged at Easy Es pawn !! Now Do I have to have a money card to rent the same to go back to Ky ? Or can I pay cash ?

i am a frequeny user of uhaul and keep having problems. I reserved a truck, went to pick it up at 9am like i was suppose to the place wasnt open so i had to wait over an hour. Then when the lady got there she didnt want to give me the truck because I was givin extra miles. I was giving those miles becaue a uhaul wasnt avaible i the area I needed.After she talked to her manager she agreed to rent me the truck but it was more than our quote. I was in a hurry and just paid because i had a custmoter waiting for me. You see I move pool tables for a living and use uhaul when needed. My customer had was late for her job because I was late. I called uhaul later and after staying on hold for 2 hours I got someone to agree to refund me the insurance. sometimes i work for a pool table business and they supply my insurance and when I work for them I dont use your insurance. this is not the first time I have had these exact same problems with uhaul. If it was the first time I wouldnt be so upset. I have to pay my help overtime when your business are late. I loose business when I have a complaint to my employer about being late to a job. I have to waste hours on the phone to get 14 dollars back. I know that might not seem like much, but it is to me after paying extra for my help and loosing a custimer due to your business being late. I have thought about switching to pensake and would rather keep my business with you. You can look at my account and see I use your service often. Please find resolutions to your problems before you loose customers

The older woman who first tried to set up our rental took about 25 to 30 minutes and was unable to successfully complete it. It seemed like she didn't know how to properly use your system or a computer in general. Then a younger woman came in who obviously knew what what she was doing, she got us set up and ready to go in less than 5 minutes. Our time was sensitive and it was very inconvenient.

The female sales person was very helpful showing us how to hook up the trailer to the truck. Since the prior driver left the truck a dirty mess and the sales person had to clean first, she referred us to a nice cafe that made excellent break fast.

We had to wait 3 hours for the uhaul because the whole uhaul system was down nationwide. This was not Easy E's Pawn fault. This was the uhaul system. Then the truck died on us 4 times in the middle of the road and put us in danger. We were told we would get $50 off immediately for the 3 hour wait to pick it up, but it's been 3 days and that hasn't been applied yet. We were told we would get another discount for the problem with the truck and haven't seen that yet either. We've made several calls to uhaul and the pick up location and still don't know what discounts we are getting or if they've been applied. I would recommend the pickup location though. They were nice and it wasn't their fault at all.

The proprietor had my car towed to the far side of the county because I returned the rented item after hours (as was discussed at time of rental). My car set the burglar alarm off because it was in the parking lot! SMH I could not retrieve my car untill 11:30 the next morning and tow bill was $100!!!
