Truck was dirty, had last renters trash inside. I detailed the truck and washed the outside. The driver side tire was low it only had 24 lbs when I rented the vehicle.

My pickup location was changed from the local Marathon to Reds Outdoor Storage. I showed up for pickup Saturday morning and the store was closed. I called and they said they are closed on weekends and don't rent u-hauls although there was an entire lot of u-hauls behind the store. No other explanation, they just hung up. I called u-haul and Steve helped me through the pickup and drop-off process. This puts the entire process on the customer. There was no paper work in the truck to mark the existing damage. The interior cab was filthy. Someone had obviously smoked in the cab. I would not recommend renting from Reds Outdoor Storage to anyone. Steve at the regional office was great and very helpful. I want to mention the people at Tanglewood u-haul were also great and very helpful. I'll rent from Tanglewood from now on.

Red's was an excellent pick-up location, however, I was not able to get the trailer in Naples, FL and had to drive 107 miles to get it. Any poor ratings are based on this fact and not on the pick-up or drop-off facility or personnel.

I made a reservation to pick up a 6x12 trailer in Boyton Beach Fl. on April 20th. I drove from Pensacola Fl. to Boyton Beach Fl. (approx. 10 hours) on 19 April. I called 2 days out to ensure the trailer was going to be there. I get to Boyton Beach Uhaul at 1000 on the 20th to pick up trailer and they tell me my order was cancelled. I said who cancelled it ? They told me they sent me an email yesterday. I told them I was driving all day yesterday...Y DID YOU NOT CALL ME ? Perhaps I could have picked up a trailer at a different location on my way. They said they do everything by email. They had a 6x12 trailer there, so I asked...why can"t I use that one. They said it was local only. I had to drive to Sebring Fl 2 and a half hours to pick up the trailer. That is TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE !!! The uhaul dealer in Boyton beach gave me 20% off the rental, mean while I spent 5 hours of my time driving to & from Sebring, plus a tank of gas in my Chevy Z71 4 wheel drive. I filed a complaint and your company said they would credit me another $50 which was never put on my card. It was the WORST experience with a rental comp[any I have ever had ! What does a reservation mean to You...Surely not what your company did for me. I reserved my trailer in Sarasota FL and left from GA to FL. When I get there they tell me they don’t have my trailer and I have to drive 70 miles there and 70 miles back. That’s after driving 8 hours in the car. You take the reservation but have no idea where your equipment is. I will never use u-haul again and never recommend them to anyone.

The online return process needs work. It stops where I needed to uploaded pictures of the return unit and would not proceed. The local agent had to complete the return. They were very helpful but the uhaul process failed misiberaly.

I (meaning me, the customer) was under the impression that the cost of the rental was to be much lower than the actual cost. Upon discovering this, I left the drop off location one day early to make sure the return was within three days of the pickup date! At $54 per day and I kept it for three days, please explain why my credit card was charged $277.++ ? I’m not unhappy with the dealer, I’m extremely unhappy with the company and I will advise everyone I come in contact with to avoid this company, I’m this instance, I would have been money ahead by hiring a professional transport company. /Marvin Mollitor/

The rental truck was a new Chevy truck with only 3689 miles on it, the rental truck smelled horrible and a sticky substance all over the inside cab, The main inconvenience was the U-Haul Agent . His name is Corey . He was upset that I chose truck share rather than filling out the contract with him, and insisted that I cancel the truck share contract I had already filled out , told me he wouldn’t rent to me if I didn’t Do as he said, When I had possession of the trurk he called several times , asking if I was done with the task I rented the truck for. Corey was eagerly pushing me to return the truck as he wanted to rent it to another customer, when I asked to rent it for another day , Corey became loud and mad, so I returned the truck and I was charged for a second day anyway. I do not have a unsecured credit card Which I found out is a requirement for a truck rental.
