I was not happy with my drop off location being changed. IT took me out of the alloted miles you gave me so I picked upa small charge. It also had no data coverage for my cell phone carrier and there was no wifi to connect to like the self dropoff key box said existed. I had to take a bunch of pictures and drive to the other side of the highway to find a data signal so I could do the turn in online.

1-800-uhaul is fantastic! Going through an independent uhaul can be complicated. This particular location was ready for us. He had the dolly with the truck filled with gas. He was very friendly and helpful. I would reuse this location.

The U-haul truck had the muffler cut off of it. So 850 miles of extremely loud exhaust which gave me a migraine that day and the next. The U-haul truck felt like it was going to fall apart. The truck doors would barely shut and the passenger dog was bent at the top giving a loud whooshing sound while driving. Overall this was the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had, and I have been using U-Haul for over 20 yrs. The final thing U-Haul did was move my pick up location an hour away from where I reserved it, and they told me this less than 24 hours before I picked it up. On the plus side, when I dropped the U-haul off in Groton, CT , the man I dropped it off to was very professional and courteous. I have used his business for U-Haul rental and general car repairs for over 15 yrs. This was the only good part of the U-haul experience.

I will NEVER rent again dependent on Smart Phone activity. The rental location has 0, None, nothing, cell phone signal. The pick up[ experience was beyond the worst nightmare one could imagine. Cold, dark, no smart phone signal, wondered the parking lot for nearly an hour hunting signal. They had to know this and should have installed a booster.

I RSVP 3 weeks before the move. 2 days before uhual couldnt find me a truck nor provide me a dolly to move,yes theygave me some perks but it was NOT enough! I was very very unpleased with the service with uhual I will be going to their local competition next time, Putting a customer at a scare of not getting a truck when needed is unacceptable!!!! (Especially when 2 representatives told me they had it all taken care of and had me a truck...) then boom the day before someone calls me in the evening and tells me they have me a truck but it's almost a half hour away...yes. we had no choice and they knew this.

My refund was suppose to be 106 and the recept even said that amount would be loaded on my card but when I checked my bank acct it said 2 dollars and 75 cents was loaded back on my card .

do not over charge. I rented the smaller truck for $19.99 a day & so much per mile for 2 days. I was given an estimate of what it cost but that amount was doubled on my card. what a rip-off. I will be notifying the BBB. I will never use this business again.

I have a hard time comparing these two locations. I had a very difficult time backing up the car trailer time and time again to get it the spot they wanted because I don't do that kind of thing ever in life. But he wasn't allowed to park it, he did try to help steer me but that doesn't really help in that situation. I struggled to get the car unattached but he wasn't allowed to help, even though the other location strapped it on for me.

I used the app to try to rent, but once i got to check in, I clicked on my truck order but it didn't have a button or anything to start the rental or "pick up" the truck. I was at the truck, logged in, found order, took pics of my id, but couldn't figure out how to proceed. The app needs work! The instructional video on the uhaul site made it seem so easy, but it just didn't work out that way.

Eastwood Storage is a great place. The people are willing to go beyond the norm to help. I had made a typo on my email address and i did not get my information from Uhaul--they do not ask you to confirm your email-so i had no clue I needed my "smart phone" to rent a trailer to return during off hours. Eastwood called Uhaul, had to deal with a trainee on the phone who was less than knowledgeable and solved they problem while they stayed past closing time for their location. I was so impressed by their efforts on my behalf--if they had not gone the "extra MILES" I would not have been able to rent the trailer to do all the things that needed to happen THAT DAY!! Thanks, Eastwood Storage!! GREAT SERVICE!

The shocks on the front end of the uhalu i rented needs replaced badly was jumping all over road. The storage facility was very clean and the manager was super helpful and knowledable.

I would first start off by training the personnel that working for U-Hual. After asking many questions about what the cost would be to go one way, the gentleman that I picked up my equipment from tells me “they are going to pull 600 from your account and then refund the rest once you get there”. Well that isn't true. I dropped off the equipment 2 days early so I could get the maximum back and was told, “no that not how it works for a one way”. Complete liar! I have used U-Hual a for times before but this gentleman was a complete liar and does not know his equipment. He couldn't even tell me how to use the loader! Thank goodness for you tube and the fact I've done it a couple times. Do NOT use this location.

I had to travel to 2 different locations upon pick-up because there were no trucks available. Customer service representatives were very rude and had poor attitudes. They offered no discounts or alternatives to remedy my inconveniences. I had to spend more money out of my own pocket to drive further to pick up a truck. The truck was in absolute poor condition and ran very poorly. I intended to cancel my service with Uhaul all together but no other companies in the area had trucks available. I will never rent from uhaul ever again and I will never recommend Uhaul services to anyone.

Make sure the equipment is checked and maintained. Brought the UHaul home and the battery died the following day. Spent about an hour of my move charging the battery. Also had to leave it running from that point on to ensure I would have to deal with a dead battery again - so lost more fuel than I should have.
