I received the truck and it immediately started overheating and the oil light came on. I contacted roadside assistance and they told me I could just put oil in it and continue driving unless it started acting funny. I had to put in 3 QUARTS of oil to get it showing full on the dip stick. It continued worrying me the entire 900 mile trip but thankfully we made it with out a breakdown. Most likely I’ll never use uHaul again.

Although there was some initial concern with the drop-off location, the agent checked things out and said there wouldn't be any problem dropping it off there (my originally intended destination).

This place has no storage available. They didn't answer phone- said to leave message and then the mail box was full!! No call back and running out of time to return trailer on time! Frustrating experience in a new town

The truck has problems. When you hit a bump it darts one way or the other. Needs to be fixed.

Our truck was NOT clean! Seriously! 2 old freakin mattresses, broken glass, plastic spoon, dirt and debris..... We were in a major time crunch, but still tried to return the truck for another but the location was then closed. I'm happy to say we left that truck,clean for the next customer. Location was fine in all ways, except truck obviously wasn't checked before rwnting it to us! Person there was polite, on time, etc.... But truck with 2 old mattresses in it?! And broken glass all over the floor?

Josh was awesome. His attitude and willingness to help were incredible! That said, the online experience was completely terrible. Nightmare actually. The person we had to text for the checkin was not the friendliest or fastest to respond. Will definitely rethink renting from Uhaul again because of the online experience.

We rushed to empty the trailer so we could return it before they closed for the day. As this was our first time renting with Uhaul we wanted a human to help us and verify that we were all set. No one was there, and there was no phone service to download the app. After trying to figure out what to do and wasting our time, we called another Uhaul (people were there!) and they told us to leave the paperwork in a box and just leave the thing. We took lots of photos to document, and left a note on the forms to please call us to confirm it was received. NEVER received a call, and tried calling and leaving messages the next few days. Later received a late fee, which we were able to reverse but still upsetting and how un-smooth the process was. So to improve the workers here could show up for work occasionally, or put a note or sign or warning if they are on vacation, and follow up on notes that clients leave you. Thanks.

My husband took the trailer back a day early and tried waiting for someone to be there to accept the trailer. We still haven't heard and I left two messages on two different ;phone numbers. We should get a day refund but haven't heard a thing. They had a sign on the door be back at 1:30 he went back then and they had another sign back at 2:30. We need to get some response from them to get our one day back and make sure they know the trailer is there, very unprofessional.

Very poor customer service. Difficult to connect as they are in and out of the office and rarely return calls.

I was in and out in about 3 minutes - excellent service. One thing did concern me for future trailer rentals. Given the location of the Uhaul trailers, If I had hooked a trailer up to my truck I could only have gone one direction and the turn at the end of the storage yard was very tight. They might want to position their trailers better for customer pickup to avoid that very tight turn.

Supplies requested (blankets, utility dolly, furniture dolly) were not in the truck and no one at location to assist during business hours for the pickup or return. I had to go across town to another location to get supplies. The Uhaul regional manager did a great job though in finding the supplies and giving to me at no charge due to the inconvenience.

The published hours said they were open on Saturday. And on arrival there was a sign saying they should be open. But in another location there was another sign saying they were closed on this particular Saturday.

My next day experience proved to be an issue. I was told twice that the fee if I drove 100 miles or more would be $79.95. There was an extra $9.04 on my bill this morning which was for 29 miles over 100 miles. I have filed a consumer complaint which I hope is resolved to my satisfaction and that other customers are more correctly informed of the additional charges. I would have paid that fee if I had been correctly informed upfront.
